Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 165: Chapter 165 – The Awakening of Black Flash!

"Endless Cursed Swarm!"

Grotesque, monstrous cursed fish surged from Dagon's hands, their massive jaws snapping open as they lunged at the black-haired girl, eager to rip flesh from her bones.

But for the first time since being pulled into Dagon's domain, Yukinoshita Yukino didn't retreat. Instead, she charged forward fearlessly.

A shikigami appeared right in front of her, its razor-sharp fangs—capable of piercing through flesh with ease—aimed straight for her pale skin.

The instant they made contact, the creature was sliced apart by an invisible force.

Blood and flesh splattered everywhere, painting a gruesome path behind her as she pressed forward.

"What!?"

Dagon's mind reeled in shock.

"The domain's guaranteed-hit effect isn't working on her!?"

But upon closer observation, he noticed something strange.

"No… this is—!"

To be honest, Dagon hadn't paid much attention to Yukinoshita Yukino before. While she was capable of dealing damage, the main threats in the fight had been Zenin Naobito and Ino Takuma's techniques.

Because of that, he had unconsciously ignored her, failing to analyze her abilities properly.

Was her technique… slashes?

Dagon's keen eyes caught something—wherever she moved, the sand beneath her feet was sliced into smooth, deep grooves before being quickly stomped flat by her advancing steps.

She was continuously unleashing slashes around her body, instantly cutting down any shikigami that attacked her.

His guess was right. Yukinoshita Yukino had drawn inspiration from Zenin Naobito's *Falling Blossom Emotion* technique, and now it was proving highly effective.

"You damn woman!"

Dagon roared and threw a powerful punch, but just as his fist was about to land—

Yukinoshita Yukino vanished from his sight.

"Wha—!?"

She had slid beneath him, darting between his legs. At point-blank range, she unleashed another slash, carving a deep wound into his thigh.

Her blade cut clean through his Achilles tendon.

Dagon's body gave out, forcing him to his knees.

He twisted around, swinging his elbow at her in a desperate counterattack—

But his strike hit nothing but air.

Yukinoshita Yukino didn't attack immediately after moving into Dagon's blind spot, as it had expected.

Sensing the slash coming from behind, Dagon reacted instantly, pushing off with its still-healing legs and launching into the air.

"You can float, after all." A grating, elderly voice came from above. Zenin Naobito suddenly appeared overhead. "If I were you, I'd run upward too."

"What!?"

Before Dagon could even finish voicing its shock, its body was trapped inside a mirror. A sharp shattering sound followed as Zenin Naobito kicked it downward toward the black-haired girl waiting below.

And what awaited it was—

A flash of black lightning!

Black!

Cursed energy gathered in a fist and exploded on impact. A black spark erupted violently. The red figure shot backward like a fired cannonball, slamming into the sand and sending a wave of dust flying.

"What do you usually think about when you fight, Hayashizaki-kun?"

After yet another sparring session, Yukinoshita Yukino lay on the ground, catching her breath and replaying her mistakes in her mind.

"Hmm? Let me think…"

Hayashizaki, who hadn't broken a sweat, touched his chin, pretending to be deep in thought.

Then, with a straight face, he answered, "Nothing at all!"

Yukinoshita Yukino's curious, intelligent eyes immediately turned ice-cold.

"I know you're impatient, but hear me out first." Hayashizaki raised both hands in a mock French salute, trying to calm the irritable Snow Cat.

"Thinking during a fight is normal. You have to consider many things—what moves your opponent will make, their techniques, any hidden tricks, and so on."

"But if I ever find myself in a fight to the death, I abandon all thought and trust my instincts."

Hayashizaki smiled. "Thinking too much slows your reactions and limits your potential."

"If you ever face a powerful enemy and find yourself cornered, trust your instincts. Let go of everything and move freely."

Yukinoshita Yukino murmured to herself, "Let go of thinking… Is that really useful? Sounds unreliable."

"All the training you've done until now is to prepare for that moment," the black-haired young man said with a smile.

Yukinoshita Yukino took a step forward, leaving a deep mark in the sand. Dust rose behind her as she turned into a blur, shooting toward the airborne Dagon at a blinding speed.

Dagon's side suddenly bulged, and a massive eel burst out, jaws wide open to bite the incoming girl. But in the instant it appeared, it was sliced into pieces.

At the very least, it managed to slow her down for a moment.

Dagon twisted midair, regaining balance just before landing. Its feet barely touched the sand before carving deep trenches into the ground.

It threw a punch. Its fist, several times larger than Yukinoshita Yukino's, clashed with her small one—only to be torn apart in an instant.

Black lightning erupted once more, distorting the very air.

Dagon reeled back from the blast of cursed energy, and Yukinoshita Yukino's palm pressed against its abdomen.

The technique activated.

A barrage of cursed-energy-infused slashes rained down like a storm, carving blood-red flowers across Dagon's body.

This woman!

Dagon's eyes widened. Gritting its teeth, it endured the slashes and slammed its hands onto the ground.

Giant sea beasts, as tall as buildings, burst from beneath the sand, crashing into Yukinoshita Yukino and sending her flying.

The bigger the summoned beast, the harder it was to cut. Even with an endless barrage of slashes, she still had to destroy them piece by piece.

Slashing something this massive in half isn't something that can be done with just an instinctive attack. At the very least, it needs to be a deliberate strike made with a proper hand sign.

Dagon had already realized this.

"The ocean is the source of all life, and the endless swarm of the Dead Floating Army will keep coming without end!"

Use fifty percent of our strength to deal with that black-haired woman!
