Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 279: Chapter 279: Escape

"Gravity?"

Geto asked in a low voice.

He appeared to be watching the short-haired woman approaching him at a leisurely pace, but in the corner of his eye, he was observing the Rainbow Dragon, which was being held down by the intense force.

The thrashing white dragon seemed to be slowly breaking free from the gravity's grasp. Its head had already lifted, though its body was still pressed firmly against the ground.

So the area of effect was around three to four meters from her position…

And the moment the dragon took flight again, Geto understood.

The duration—six seconds.

Now that he had figured out the range and duration of the technique, the only thing left was the cooldown time between activations.

There had to be a gap between uses. Otherwise, she could just keep it active at all times, like Gojo's Limitless technique.

As soon as the Rainbow Dragon broke free from the gravity, it turned around and charged toward the short-haired woman, jaws wide open, ready to bite down.

Kenjaku finally made a move, dashing forward at high speed. As he avoided the dragon's attack, he rapidly closed the distance between himself and Geto.

At the same time, Geto leaped backward, widening the gap to prevent close combat.

This was all to make Kenjaku think that he was weak in hand-to-hand combat and was trying to avoid being approached.

Kenjaku flicked her fingers, sending drops of blood floating into the air. They quickly sharpened into thin, piercing arrows that shot toward the bun-haired youth.

Geto dodged the incoming blood arrows, though not without difficulty. He rolled across the ground before summoning two cursed spirits that resembled zombie dogs, sending them lunging toward Kenjaku.

However, before they could even get close, thin blood needles pierced their heads, causing them to collapse with a whimper before fading away.

Behind him, the Rainbow Dragon roared and charged again, but the moment it entered the four-meter range around Kenjaku, its wide-open jaws suddenly snapped shut. Its head crashed into the ground once more, and the earth beneath Kenjaku sank downward in a circular pattern, crushed by the intense gravity.

Five seconds.

Geto's eyes widened in realization.

The cooldown time between activations was five seconds. The technique lasted for six seconds, creating a four-meter radius gravity field around her. Anything or anyone that entered would be crushed under the immense pressure, unable to move.

Now that Geto fully understood her cursed technique, he turned and ran.

As long as her gravity ability was active, he couldn't get close to her, nor could he let her approach him. If he got caught in the field, it would be almost impossible to escape.

Even summoning more cursed spirits to attack her would be pointless—it would only waste his resources.

The only good news was that while Kenjaku was using her anti-gravity ability, she couldn't use Blood Manipulation at the same time.

Unlike that other monster, who can stay inside a possessed body while using both its own techniques and those of the host, Suguru Geto doesn't have that luxury.

Keeping his distance from Kenjaku, he silently went over the details in his mind.

The moment her technique's duration ended, the bun-haired boy immediately ducked and turned to face the short-haired woman, who had her hands clasped together.

A second later, a highly compressed pillar of blood shot past his head, piercing the wall behind him and leaving a clean hole in the reinforced concrete.

Kenjaku lowered her hands, and the blood column followed, slicing downward like a razor-sharp blade.

Geto rolled to the right, barely dodging the Piercing Blood attack. But as he moved, pain shot through his injured right thigh, throwing him off balance. He stumbled and fell onto the concrete.

He reacted quickly, trying to roll back up, but it was already too late. A brief flash of panic crossed his face.

A shadow loomed over him.

"As expected, that gunshot wound is slowing you down, huh?" The short-haired woman smirked, a mocking expression on her face. "Checkmate."

"No, I should be saying that to you."

The panic on Geto's face vanished in an instant, replaced by calm confidence, as if everything had gone exactly as planned.

The cooldown for his Anti-Gravity Technique had just reset.

"One second left, right?"

He spoke as his legs tensed. Then, like a predator launching at its prey, he sprang forward and crashed into Kenjaku's torso.

His palm pressed firmly against her stomach.

Dark mist surged around them, and from within, a fierce white dragon head emerged. It slammed into Kenjaku, sending her flying before snapping its jaws shut.

At the same time, her Gravity Technique activated.

Suddenly, Geto felt as if a massive mountain had been dropped onto him. The force shattered the strength in his legs, pinning him to the ground.

It was as if his bones were being crushed in a hydraulic press, and his organs trembled under the pressure.

But the pain lasted only for a moment.

The dragon, still half-emerged from the mist, faded away the instant Geto was struck down. Kenjaku, however, had already taken damage—deep bite wounds from the dragon's fangs.

Her shoulder and abdomen were nearly pierced through. Blood streamed from the open wounds, and her chest cavity had been crushed under the force of the attack.

She crashed onto the ground, rolling twice before stopping. A thick mouthful of blood spilled from her lips, mixed with bits of internal tissue. She coughed violently.

"Cough… Reverse Cursed Technique..."

Through the haze of pain, she saw the slug-like Cursed Spirit clinging to Geto's wounded thigh. A moment later, it spat out a spent bullet casing before fading away, revealing his fully healed leg.

Kenjaku had assumed the Cursed Spirit was merely stopping the bleeding, as it lacked the ability to heal others. But in reality, Geto had been using it to conceal the fact that he, too, had mastered the Reverse Cursed Technique.

Before Hayashizaki's rise, Suguru Geto was recognized as one of the strongest sorcerers alongside Satoru Gojo—not because he clung to powerful allies, but because he had real strength and undeniable talent.

In the world of jujutsu, Geto was even more admired than Gojo, despite Gojo being from one of the Big Three Sorcerer Clans.

The reason was simple—while Gojo had inherited his strength, Geto came from a non-sorcerer family. Through sheer effort and talent, he had risen to the rank of Special Grade.

A genius like him wouldn't fail to grasp the Reverse Cursed Technique, especially after hearing Hayashizaki's clear explanation of how positive energy was generated and how the technique functioned.

"Do you really think you have the right to say that?"

The bun-haired boy smirked as he looked down at the short-haired woman lying on the ground. In that moment, their positions had completely flipped.

Compared to her, Geto's injuries were far less severe. He was already back on his feet, his wounds healing rapidly.

Kenjaku was also channeling her Reverse Cursed Technique, trying to repair the damage.

But unlike Geto, her wounds weren't something that could fully heal in a short time.

Still, she didn't need a full recovery—just enough to move again.

Suguru Geto summoned dozens of high-level curses at once, commanding them to charge toward Kenjaku, who was just struggling to his feet.

He intended to take this chance to finish her off completely.

In the blink of an eye, the ferocious curses surged forward like a tidal wave, rushing toward the short-haired woman. Yet, she showed no trace of panic.

Her expression suddenly became calm. Half-closing her eyes, a subtle air of serenity emerged from her.

She brought her hands together in front of her chest, palms pressed against each other in a reverse prayer position. Her lips parted as she murmured, "Domain Expansion: Womb of Boundless Birth."

A massive, eerie tree suddenly sprouted behind Kenjaku. Its roots were formed by three contorted ascetics, and its trunk was covered with screaming, despairing faces. Leafless branches extended from the body of a headless, pregnant woman with a swollen belly.

This monstrous tree seemed to be a manifestation of all the world's despair and malice combined. And yet, despite its grotesque and twisted form, it exuded an almost sacred tranquility.

The overwhelming contrast between what he saw and what he felt made Suguru Geto's head spin.

The moment the tree emerged, all the curses charging toward Kenjaku plummeted downward, along with the ground beneath them. The earth itself caved in and compressed.

The ground shook violently, as if struck by an earthquake. The gravity manipulation, empowered by the domain's guaranteed hit effect, forcibly created a sheer cliff in the middle of the street.

But even more importantly, Geto suddenly realized—

"The domain… has no barrier shell!?"

Unlike the domain expansions he was familiar with, this mysterious short-haired woman's domain lacked the usual outer shell that trapped people inside.

Did she set a restriction?

Geto quickly pieced it together. Without a barrier shell, someone inside the domain should be able to escape—

Boom!

Just as the thought crossed his mind, an immense gravitational force crushed him down. He couldn't move. A mouthful of blood sprayed from his lips.

The pressure on his body was far greater than what he had endured during his last exchange with Kenjaku. His entire skeleton felt like a beached whale's—crushed under the weight of dozens of times its normal gravity.

And because the domain strengthened the gravity technique, escape was impossible.

Even reinforcing his body with cursed energy was barely effective against the enhanced gravity. His Cursed Spirit Manipulation was completely useless in this situation.

He could only rely on Reverse Cursed Technique to endure.

But since he had only recently learned it, he wasn't skilled enough to heal himself faster than his body was breaking down.

At this rate, it wouldn't take long before he was completely crushed.

The shadow of death loomed over Suguru Geto's heart.

Then, a sharp crackling sound filled the sky—like the cries of countless birds.

Blinding violet lightning flickered violently, illuminating the deep night sky.

A powerful surge of cursed energy entered Kenjaku's perception, but the speed of Hollow Purple was even faster than her reaction.

By the time she sensed the danger, the enormous sphere of violet energy had already appeared in her field of vision.

"…Gojo Satoru."

Kenjaku responded instantly, reinforcing her body with cursed energy as she leaped backward.

As Hollow Purple streaked past the edge of a high-rise building, the glass windows shattered moments later, bursting apart with a crisp sound.

The cars parked along the street blared their alarms in response to the explosion's shockwave.

The unstoppable sphere of violet energy crashed into Kenjaku's domain, detonating on impact. Dazzling purple light flooded Geto's vision.

From a distant rooftop, a white-haired young man observed the battlefield. He raised an eyebrow in slight confusion.

"Huh? Did I miss? That's weird, I was aiming for that creepy tree."

Gojo Satoru's body slowly floated upward before he soared toward the battlefield.

As he landed near the edge of the domain and took a closer look, realization dawned on his handsome face.

"So that's how it is. The technique added to the domain is related to gravity. It wasn't that I missed—it was the bullet's trajectory shifting under the effect of gravity."

With the information provided by the Six Eyes, Gojo Satoru quickly figured out Kenjaku's technique.

Without a moment's hesitation, he stepped into the domain.

The domain's sure-hit effect immediately locked onto the new source of cursed energy and applied its technique.

However, Gojo Satoru only paused for a brief moment, bent his knees slightly, then regained full control of his movements and continued walking toward Suguru Geto.

Suguru Geto, who had been struggling to breathe, suddenly found his airways clear again. He heard footsteps approaching and, without turning his head, already knew who it was.

"Satoru? Why are you here?"

Before his friend could answer, the bun-haired boy quickly realized the reason.

"It was that message this afternoon... I was wondering why you suddenly asked where I was. I didn't think you'd actually come all the way here..."

"Save your strength," Gojo Satoru cut him off, already guessing what he wanted to say. He reached out and pulled him up.

"If I hadn't come, you'd be dead."

"Don't you dare die on me, idiot."

Suguru Geto had no argument against that. Instead, he let out a soft chuckle.

"Well, I can't deny that. You really saved me this time."

Kenjaku, having dodged Hollow Purple, reappeared on the rooftop of a nearby building, looking down at the two of them.

"Can we go after them?"

Noticing Kenjaku's figure, Suguru Geto tilted his head up and asked.

"Honestly, it'd be tough," Gojo Satoru admitted.

"I have to use Blue to cancel out the domain's sure-hit effect. I can still forcefully use Red, but it's like trying to move while shackled.

But... we could take this chance to get out of the domain's range and wait for it to disappear before chasing again."

"Alright, let's go with your plan."

The two quickly settled on a strategy, but it seemed their opponent had no intention of continuing the fight.

"They're using the pull of Blue to counteract gravity?" Kenjaku quickly understood why they were able to move freely despite the domain's effect.

"There are ways to deal with that... but retreating for now is the better choice."

She had a clear understanding of her own strength.

Even if she could keep Gojo Satoru occupied for a while, defeating him here was impossible—especially with Suguru Geto also present.

Besides, her main goal had already been achieved.

The sheer terror she had unleashed on society should be enough to accelerate Mahito's birth.

There was no need to drag this out any longer.

With the night wind at her back, the short-haired woman disappeared into the distance.

The moment she left the domain's range, the domain itself collapsed.

Gojo Satoru no longer had to use Blue at full power to resist the crushing gravity, and the sudden release of pressure made him feel much lighter.

Just as he was about to give chase, he realized something—

The enemy's cursed energy had completely vanished, as if they had disappeared into thin air.

"Gone... was it a barrier technique?"

Standing on the rooftop, the white-haired boy frowned deeply as he stared at the now-empty cityscape.

And then, as soon as the short-haired woman disappeared, the noise around them surged.

It seemed that only now had people begun to notice the destruction caused by the fight with Suguru Geto.
