Transmigrated into a Villainess? I’m Going to conquer the Heroine!

Chapter 81 - End of show

Tang Yuan was carried back to bed, her cheeks still flushed with a rosy hue. Once lying down, she instinctively pulled the blanket over herself, peeking out with bright, swirling eyes to look at Jiang Zi.

Jiang Zi picked up the thermos from the table, walked back to the bed, and handed the straw to her lips. “Drink some water; it’s not hot.”

Obediently, Tang Yuan propped herself up and sipped through the straw. After half a cup of warm water went down, her stomach felt pleasantly warm. Jiang Zi took a few sips herself before placing the thermos back.

When she turned back, a pair of moist eyes stared at her without blinking. Jiang Zi narrowed her gaze, pinched her index finger as if to rein in her thoughts, and then returned to sit at the bedside. She reached out and felt Tang Yuan’s forehead. “Do you feel unwell?”

Tang Yuan shook her head and scooted over to make enough space for Jiang Zi to lie down. Jiang Zi lay down beside her and turned her head. “Should I turn off the light?”

After receiving consent, Jiang Zi turned off the lights. Under the covers, a small hand familiarly wrapped around her waist. Though it was a typical affectionate gesture, it reminded Jiang Zi of what had just happened.

She held Tang Yuan tighter. “What’s the matter? Feeling clingy, or is there something else you want…”

“No way,” Tang Yuan’s soft voice came out hoarse, even though she had just drunk plenty of water. It didn’t seem to help.

Jiang Zi, considering it was Tang Yuan’s first time, had been extra gentle to ensure she had a good experience. But such gentleness inevitably extended the time needed.

Jiang Zi gently stroked Tang Yuan’s hair, her tone lazy. “I’ll give you some time to adjust.”

Tang Yuan pouted, unconvinced. “The facts prove I’ve adjusted quite well.”

“We’ll see.” Despite the gentleness earlier, Tang Yuan had cried non-stop. It didn’t seem like she’d adapted much at all. How would she handle things in the future?

The filming day had ended, with only two more days left for recording. These final days were designed to create sweet moments rather than complete tasks. Guests often improvised to strengthen the chemistry between couples and add entertaining jealousy arcs.

However, with Meng Yao’er’s withdrawal and Su Qingyao negotiating with the production team to skip further filming after the second day, the group lost two members. Over these two days, Jiang Zi and Tang Yuan didn’t join the group much. On the first day, they took the cameras and ran off on their own, and on the second, they stayed holed up in their room playing games. By 2 PM on the final day, the last lunch marked the end of the live-streaming program.

“All right, the week-long shoot has officially wrapped up! A big thanks to the cast of Tales of Qin Yan for their support. I’m sure all the CP fans watching at home had a great time. After all, one of the show’s CPs turned out to be real! Our senior sister and little junior sister. Now, here’s a highly-upvoted question from the audience that I’ll pose to Jiang Tang on their behalf”

“Is it true that your feelings blossomed during filming? Or had you already developed an emotional connection long before this, back when you were both at the same university?”

【Director, you’re truly doing God’s work.】

【Tales Qin Yan gave us three CPs, but only this one turned out to be real. I need to know the answer to this question too!】

Tang Yuan glanced at Jiang Zi, who didn’t seem inclined to speak, so she decided to take the lead and make up a story. “Of course, I liked my sister way back in school.” Tang Yuan’s tone was filled with certainty as she added, “Back then, I chased after her every day, but she ignored me. What could I do? I had to pull some tricks to get her attention.”

【Wait, so campus bullying might actually be true?】

【Jiang Zi already clarified Tang Yuan never harmed her! Please check your facts before commenting!】

【I still remember their denial on that variety show a month ago. Back then, they claimed to just be friends.】

【Hehe, redefining friendship, are we?】

The director’s gaze shifted to Jiang Zi, silently urging her to verify the story. Jiang Zi lowered her eyes, as fragmented memories flitted through her mind. Just as she tried to grasp them, they were obscured by a haze. Her brow furrowed slightly before she returned to the present.

She nodded. “It’s true, just like little Tang Yuan said. She pursued me first.”

【Redefining shamelessness— Sister Jiang.】

【CP fans and Jiang Zi stans, I’m getting déjà vu from someone using a secret account to tease their wifey.】

【Eyewitness here, Jiang Zi was the one making the first move back in college】

The debate raged on in the bullet comments, but the people in front of the camera remained blissfully unaware. With this final question answered, the program wrapped up the segment.

“Now that we’re at the end of this episode, does anyone have anything they’d like to say to their partners or the viewers who’ve supported us throughout?”

The regular cast members, familiar with the process, effortlessly delivered heartfelt remarks. LinJun playfully hugged Xiu Luzhou, one of the temporary cast members, and joked, “Ah, such a handsome fresh face this episode. Luckily, you’re not a regular, or I might have to transfer my affections from Zi’an to you. But for now, Zi’an’s still my favorite.”

She cupped Guan Zi’an’s chin and planted a playful kiss on his cheek, laughing even harder at his bashful reaction.

Another regular guest pairing, Qi Hongqiao, looked at Jie Xin with affectionate eyes, still full of tender feelings. “After trying it, I realized that I already have the perfect person.”

Jie Xin rolled her eyes but still maintained her cute, naive persona. “Is that so, Teacher Qi? You’re really lucky, finding the right person so quickly. I haven’t yet. There’s a bit of regret in this episode… just that…”

Jie Xin propped her head up, looking over at Deng Peiluo. “It’s a shame that I didn’t get to continue things with Luo Luo for the second time. I hope we’ll have a chance to collaborate again in the future.”

Once she finished speaking, she turned her gaze to Du Shuhuai, who was silently sitting next to Deng Peiluo. “Shuhuai, can we add each other as friends? We could hang out together sometime.”

Du Shuhuai didn’t know how the topic turned to her, but she wasn’t the type to spoil the mood in front of the cameras. She added Jie Xin as a friend.

This segment felt very official, but it was strangely melancholic.

【I’m a Jiang Tang CP stan! Crying!】

【Upstairs, Stop mourning , you can still hang out in Sister Dai’s livestream room.】

【Sister Dai only goes live depending on her mood. What should I do? What should I do?】

【I advise you two to work hard! If I go hungry, I’ll go crazy! When I go crazy, even my dog gets scared!】

No matter how reluctant the netizens were, the “Everyday Love” livestream room was still close down.

Jiang Zi and Tang Yuan returned to Longcheng(Dragon City), driving Tang Yuan home.

Jiang Zi parked her car in Tang Yuan’s outdoor garage, unbuckling Tang Yuan’s seatbelt. “Do you need me to help pack your things?”
