Transmigrated Into an OnlyWomenRealm: the Amazons

Chapter 79: Acknowledgement

Hippolyta reluctantly got off Byron and jumped off the bed, walking where she had thrown her dress to pick it up.

Byron remained still for a while, not wanting the bad news to disrupt such a beautiful moment.

He didn't want the worries to override the ecstatic state both his body and mind were in after smashing three of the most beautiful women he had ever seen.

He didn't want to worry himself overthinking about what the visions were about. Or what kind of danger he would be in.

Most of all, he didn't want to worry for Strawberry.

He had seen the four priestesses. Strawberry was the only one among them with silver hair. Another had blond hair, then black for the remaining two.

So, when Nym said that the Silver Priestess was having visions, Strawberry's image was the first thing that came into Byron's mind.

He prayed he was wrong, that perhaps they didn't refer to their priestesses based on the color of their hair.

However, all the priestesses wore the same dresses. Simply, everything on them was the same except their hair. He had a sinking feeling that he was right.

That the Silver Priestess was Strawberry.

Did goddess Calliope know about his affair with her and that's why she was tormenting her with visions? Byron wondered.

He kind of felt guilty. The girl had been pure, kept her oath and was determined to serve goddess Calliope. He was the one who tempted her. Who used the Sensation Smoke on her.

But then again, did he have a choice? If he didn't tempt her, he would have lost his otherworldly stamina, the only thing that gave him an upper hand in that realm.

Not to mention, what was expected of Strawberry was so cruel.

Being raised with a belief that there's a good world out there, but that in order for the people around you to reach it you will have to die in the process. That you will be sacrificed.

Hearing the people you look up to always praying for that day to come, fully aware that the coming of that day will result in your death.

No. Byron had done Strawberry a favor. He had no reason to regret or feel guilty about it.

He reckoned he would do it again if he was taken back in time. He would.

If that goddamned goddess wanted trouble, then he would give her trouble.

'Damn! I can't believe I'm drawing conclusions before I even know what's really going on. What's wrong with me?'

With this, Byron jumped off the bed, too, and started looking for his clothes.

"What are you doing?" asked Hippolyta who was still struggling with her dress.

"Looking for my clothes, obviously," Byron replied.

"No. Stay! I don't think it's a good idea to know firsthand about troubles soon to befall you."

Byron scoffed. "So, you want me to die of curiosity and worry, not knowing what the future has in store for me?"

"That's not what I meant. Just stay here and get ready for your flight to New Themiscyra. Mother, go with him downstairs. Keza and I will come and inform you about the situation."

"Oh, hell no!" shouted Queen Otrera, already walking toward the door. "I must hear those visions myself. I'm the only one old enough to know what to do if they turn out to be worse."

She pushed open the door and stormed outside muttering something about the audacity of kids who don't respect their elders.

Hippolyta was done putting on her dress. She ran after her mother.

"In the corner," said Keza, pointing where Byron's trousers lay. "I advise you not to come," she added as Byron walked to pick it up.

"Why?"

"Trust me. You don't want to know how and when you will die. I pray it's not that kind of trouble, but I wouldn't want that burden if I were you. Just go and take a bath. We will leave for New Themiscyra as soon as I return. Don't eat if you're height sick or I will have to intoxicate and carry you unconscious."

She didn't wait for him to say anything. He practically resorted to chasing after her to ask, "How about we go together to hear these visions and also take a bath together once we're back."

"Oh, goddess! Didn't I just tell you to forget about the visions? Plus, I won't need a bath. My body cleans itself when I transform. Go take a bath. We leave as soon as I come back."

"No. Let's go together. I'm not afraid of hearing about my future."

Of course, this was a lie. Who wouldn't be afraid? However, he couldn't just ignore it. He had to face it. Not to mention, he wanted to go check if it was Strawberry.

He wanted to comfort her and make her know he was with her. To remind her that what they did, their affair, was not something to be ashamed of.

Of course, he couldn't tell all this to Keza.

"Sturbbonhead!" Keza mused, having realized that nothing she said would sway Byron.

She was a step ahead of him when they stepped outside the Dining Castle.

Byron could see Queen Otrera several paces away, Hippolyta chasing after her while they still argued.

Keza transformed into her succubus, taking to the skies instantly. Byron shouted after her to take him with her, but she seemed or pretended not to have heard.

Instead, she dived down when she reached Hippolyta, scooped her into her arms and shot into the sky again.

'Fuck!' shouted Byron, kicking at nothing.

The Central Castle was 20 minutes away... Unless he sprinted, of course. Which he wasn't planning on doing.

That foursome back then had left him without the energy to even walk, let alone sprint.

In these 20 minutes it would take him to reach the Central Castle, Byron knew that Strawberry would have finished having visions, if she hadn't finished already.

'That bitch!' he was referring to Keza, obviously.

She had tried to tell him what to do and he was stubborn and she showed him that he didn't have the cards.

Just then, Byron spotted Queen Otrera who was coming back, seemingly talking to herself out of frustration.

It was the same shit she had walked out of the room muttering. Something about kids who have lost respect for elders. Something about giving them a thump on the head or on the bum to remind them of their manners.

"I guess we have to go back and finish what we were doing," she said as she approached.

Uneasy smile spread across Byron's face. He wasn't in the mood for that shit anymore. Strawberry was in danger... He was in danger.

"I'm hungry," he said, ignoring what she had said.

Queen Otrera wasn't stupid either. She knew he had avoided giving her a direct answer because he didn't want to hurt her ego.

She took it like a champ and said, "OK! Let's go eat then!"

She grabbed his arm and held onto him as soon as she reached him. When they turned around, they almost bumped into Nym.

"Child, watch where you're going!" said Queen Otrera, surprisingly with a calm voice.

Nym bowed slightly. "Forgive me, My Queen," she said.

She eyed Byron for a prolonged time and her lips twitched as if she wanted to say something, but she didn't. Just stared at him like he was a TV screen.

"Did Straw... Did the Silver Priestess say exactly what kind of trouble I'm in?" asked Byron, bringing Nym back to reality.

As the blue haired girl opened her mouth to reply, Byron internally cursed himself for his stupidity. He had almost said Strawberry.

'Jeez! I have to be careful next time.'

Nym blinked twice before she said, "Oh, she did. She said something about seeing you in the air with Keza, flying above rolling hills and then saw you on the ground, shouting with pained expressions. It really was vague and she used more words and descriptions, but that's what she simply meant."

"Oh, that's not bad." It was Queen Otrera who spoke. She eyed Byron with a beaming expression. "Honey, all you have to do is avoid flying with Keza ever again. That should solve the problem. Goddess, I knew that creature had some jinx about her."

"Let's not jump to conclusions," said Byron, taking a step past Nym. "We still haven't heard the full context."

Nym looked at Byron longingly. She looked at him like she wanted him to acknowledge her. To say something good to her. To order her to come with him.

Byron would have liked to do so. After all, even though he didn't manage to fuck her yesterday, they still shared a memorable moment.

However, with Queen Otrera beside him, Byron didn't know what to do or to say.

He resorted to touching her on the arm to say, "Well done, beautiful! You can go to the others now."

He made sure his hand brushed across her chest to do a grab and release on one of her boobs, glanced at her face to see the smile surfacing there and flashed her a smile of his own before he finally walked away.

At least now he had acknowledged her.

Queen Otrera noticed this interaction and let out a chuckle. "It seems you have a history with this child, uh?" she said.

Byron blushed.

Nym was scurrying away with a blush too.

"We kissed yesterday," he replied.

Queen Otrera clicked her tongue. "The look on your face says it was more than a kiss."

They burst out laughing as they made their way back into the castle, heading for the kitchen.

Queen Otrera's girls were seated around the tables, eating, and when they saw Byron, they gave him looks that suggested he was soon going to become their dessert.
