Chapter 293: The Birth of Heavenly Beast Kingdom

The following morning, Leon and the others officially inaugurated their kingdom.

Even though Velmira constantly teased him about getting married, she made excuses when he actually agreed.

But despite everything, he still appointed her as queen because she was a capable woman.

"Today, our kingdom is born, and our path to greatness begins!" Leon declared.

"Long live the king! Long live the queen!"

"Long live Heavenly Beast Kingdom!"

"Long live our mighty beasts!"

Joyful cheers erupted after they officially inaugurated their kingdom because it was the first step toward their dream.

That day, they didn't march against other kingdoms or conquer new lands.

Instead, they feasted, laughed, and celebrated because that day was a symbol of hope, unity, and a new beginning for them.

"Too bad we didn't get married today, Velmira." Leon, who was sitting next to her, spoke. "It would have made our joy today complete if we had gotten married."

She turned to him before finally smiling playfully. "Then, should I call you husband from now on?"

"What's the point of calling me husband if we are not even a married couple?" Leon refused indirectly. "Maybe, I should look for some female dragons to heal my broken heart after this."

He was already drunk, so he was just rambling nonsense at that point.

"There is no dragon in this continent besides you." She had gone to many places before, so she knew he was the only dragon on the Vlizica continent.

"Then, I guess I will keep seducing you." After saying that, Ren stepped onto the table and shouted. "Today, we drink like there is no tomorrow!"

"Drink until we drop!" his people shouted as they raised their glasses in unison.

"He is already drunk." Velmira didn't like beer, so she only drank a little.

'But his drunken behavior is interesting!'

----

"Ouch!" Leon had a headache as he sat up.

'Hmm? My room?'

He was shocked when he realized he was in his bedroom.

"We had the party in the palace courtyard yesterday, right? So… who brought me to my room?"

Countless questions popped up in his mind.

When he was about to get out of bed, Velmira opened his door.

"You are already awake?" She stepped into his room like it was hers.

"Who brought me to my room?" he asked.

"I ordered the maidservants to take you to your room." She answered honestly.

"I see." He replied.

"Were you disappointed that I was not the one who brought you to your room?" With a hint of mischief in her smile, she walked gracefully toward him.

"No," he replied as he got out of bed.

Velmira sat on the bed when Ren washed his face in the bathroom. "Leon, we are alone right now. Why aren't you trying to seduce me?"

He was shocked by her question. "Why should I do that?"

"You said you would keep seducing me and would not stop until I fell into your arms yesterday. Don't you think this is a good opportunity to do that?" She blended truth and lies.

Leon stopped washing his face instantly.

'What?!'

He was drunk, so he didn't remember anything he said to her.

He gently dried his face with a towel before finally returning to his room. "Did I really say that?"

"Yes." Her fluffy tails swayed behind her as she saw him changing his clothes.

'He has a nice body!'

She didn't feel shy when she stared at him as if they were a married couple.

"Forget it. I was drunk and talking nonsense." He closed the wardrobe and turned to her. "Let's have breakfast now."

Velmira rose to her feet and walked beside him. "So, are you really not going to make me yours? Is it because I'm not from the dragon race like you?"

The corner of his lips twitched.

'This fox woman…'

He chose to ignore her teasing and headed to the dining hall.

After breakfast, Ren led his people aboard warships to begin conquering neighboring kingdoms and organizations.

Several hours later, they arrived at the nearest organization to their kingdom, the Sun Organization.

Members of the Sun organization were shocked when they saw many warships approaching their place.

One person reported to their leader while the rest guarded the palace, ready to face Leon and his people.

A moment later, an old man in red armor appeared and stepped forward to face them.

The name of the old man was Elias, the leader of the Sun Organization.

'Who are they? Are they the ones who conquered Misty Palace?'

He had heard the news about what happened to Misty Palace, so when he saw them, he could not help but recall the magical beasts led by a dragon who had conquered it.

"Sun Organization, I'm the king of the Heavenly Beast Kingdom, Leon." Leon's voice echoed through the entire area. "I will give you two choices. Submit to me or die!"

Elias didn't answer immediately and paid attention to Ren and Velmira.

'It seems like my guess is right.'

He had never heard of a magical beast kingdom on the Vlizia Continent before, so he believed Ren had built it after conquering the Misty Palace.

"Submit to you? How dare you act arrogantly before us!"

"That's right! Who do you think you are?"

"Leader, let's just fight them!"

"I agree! They think we are afraid just because they have more numbers than us!"

"Leader, we would rather fight to the death than become servants of magical beasts!"

"That's right!"

One by one, they voiced out their disagreement.

Sure, they had heard news about what had happened to Misty Palace.

However, they assumed Misty Palace had lost the war because they underestimated their enemies.

Even though they were not among the top three strongest organizations, they were still considered a powerful force.

As long as they fought seriously, they believed they could defend their territory and drive the enemies away.

That was why none of them were willing to submit to him because, in their eyes, becoming a servant of a magical beast was worse than death.

'Good! I like your answer!'

Elias liked their response because he also didn't want to submit to anyone, especially a magical beast like Leon.

Elias retrieved his blade from his space ring and pointed it toward Leon. "If you want a war, then I will give you one!"

"Since you refuse to submit to me, you can die now." While still standing on the warship, Leon used one of his strongest magic.

Terror overtook their faces when a colossal stone dropped from the sky.

All weak members collapsed to the ground in fear while the leader and the stronger ones managed to steady themselves and regain their composure.

"Use your strongest magic and skills!" Elias roared.

"Vanish!"

"Shatter!"

"Break!"

A barrage of attacks launched at once, streaking through the air in a dazzling symphony of light and color.

But even so, their combination attacks failed to shatter it.

A deep fear emerged in their hearts once more.

But they clenched their jaws and launched another attack.

"Destroy!" they shouted in unison.

*Crack…crack…

Their expressions lit up with joy when crack lines began to spread across the surface of the colossal stone.

But the moment the stone burst into pieces, their happy faces turned into terror again because another colossal stone was falling straight toward them.

'No…No…'

Their pupils trembled, and their grip on their weapons loosened.

It had taken a great effort just to destroy the first stone, so when they saw another one falling toward them, their fighting spirit collapsed, especially when it was already too close to stop.

Elias gritted his teeth in annoyance when he saw his subordinates.

Previously, they had boldly declared they would fight their enemies to the death, but now, they were shaking like frightened children.

Their current behavior was completely different from before, as if their bravery had been nothing more than empty words.

"What the fuck are you doing? Attack it again! Do you want to die?" Elias roared angrily as he launched another attack at the colossal stone.

"Haha! Look at them!"

"Humans are weak creatures! Haha!"

"Hey, where did all that bravery go? Why are you shaking like cowards now? Haha!"

"Typical humans, nothing but empty words!"

"Loud mouths and weak hearts. Haha."

Leon's people made fun of them when they saw their frightened state because they had previously acted like powerful awakeners who feared nothing.

"Attack it!" Elias shouted again.

However, only a few listened to them.

The rest only stared at the colossal stone with their frightened expressions because they knew it was already too late.

Boom!

The forest was obliterated in an instant, and half of the palace was reduced to rubble.

Elias and his subordinates didn't survive the attack because they failed to destroy the colossal stone.

"That is the price of refusing to submit to my king!" Fyre declared.

"Zareth, take a few people with you and seize their treasure," Leon commanded.

"Understood, my king!" Zareth responded.

After emptying the treasure, they left to conquer another organization.

That day, they only conquered three organizations because the sun began to set when they were preparing to strike the fourth target, so they decided to stop and return.

The following morning, Leon led his people to conquer more organizations.

As they were launching their strike, news of his actions spread through the Sheozica region like wildfire.

Some organizations panicked and activated their barriers immediately, while the rest rushed to form alliances.

They didn't want to end up like the Sun Organization, so they did everything they could to defend their territory.

As they were wary of his actions, Ren arrived at the Ashborn Requiem organization.

"I will give you two choices." Ren's voice echoed through the air. "Submit to me or die!"
