Transmigrating as an Extra Third-Rate Villain

Chapter 324:Vault Battle [1]

Shaking his head with a smile, Raven spoke.

"They can't join because if any more magical artifacts are destroyed, that seal of theirs will collapse, and the thing inside the vault will be let out."

To limit the chaos inside the vault and to stop any extra damage, the principal was letting Liam fight alone.

As all the gazes in the room slowly shifted toward Raven, he smirked before slowly walking over to one of the toppled shelves.

Thankfully, none of the artifacts had been destroyed from the fall, but they were all on their last breaths.

Leaning down and touching one of the shelves, Raven waved his hands up and down before saying.

"Don't mind me...just getting some insurance."

Shifting his gaze away from Raven, Liam smirked upon seeing the wound he had inflicted on Zeng gone.

"Abusing those scrolls, are you? Don't you know what happens if you use too many?"

Shaking his head, Zeng finally showed his first sign of emotion as a defeated expression appeared on his face.

Tilting his head upward, he looked up at the ceiling, allowing the dark-purple hue to leak off his body and surround him.

With his hair falling down to the ground, completely revealing his horns, Zeng let out a deep sigh.

Killing...more killing, and now even more.

It was like a cycle for him.

Feeling his head start to numb all his emotions, Zeng swung his sword once, sending a dark purple slash right at Liam.

However, defying Raven's expectations, Liam simply dodged the slash, allowing it to keep flying forward into the shelves and artifacts behind.

However, a second later, the principal appeared right in front of the slash, and with one simple spell, she nullified it, watching the splash disintegrate and fall onto the floor in front of her.

After dodging the slash, Liam immediately started sprinting forward at the motionless Zeng, ignoring Raven, who was off to the side.

Yet, pausing for a second mid-dash, Liam looked in surprise as another sword appeared in Zeng's left hand.

"You're a duel wielder?"

"..."

With the extra strength he received from his demon, Zeng could now easily wield two broadswords without losing his balance or being fatigued.

Meeting Liam mid-dash, Zeng easily parried Liam's divine blue broad sword with the sword in his right hand.

Instantly, he plunged his left sword forward; however, Liam had already distanced himself after seeing his attack fail.

Backing away, Liam raised his sword so that it was perpendicular to the ceiling.

Then, within a second, a divine blue hue surged out of the tip of Liam's sword before spreading everywhere.

Within a couple of seconds, the ceiling was no longer visible as all you could see when you looked up was a divine-blue cloud.

With incredible speed, Liam swung his heavy broadsword downward and muttered.

"Bladestorm."

As Liam's sword fell to his feet, unbeknownst to everyone in the room, countless swords materialized right below the ceiling and above the divine blue cloud.

A moment later, these floating swords, frozen in the air, suddenly bolted straight downward.

Sensing the wind in the room suddenly change and blow downward, Zeng instinctively looked upward; however, all he saw was the divine blue cloud.

Yet, a second later, and just as Zeng looked back down, one of the countless swords falling from the ceiling passed right through the divine blue hue.

Seeing the sword suddenly appear below the cloud and Zeng completely oblivious, Raven frantically yelled.

"LOOK UP AND DODGE!"

Not even looking up at the sky, Zeng immediately heeded Raven's words and dived to the left.

A second later, the sword pierced the ground where Zeng was just standing, sticking upright while stabbed into the ground of the vault.

But that wasn't the end of it, as the countless other swords also passed through the cloud and became visible to everyone in the room.

Looking straight up at the sky, Zeng sidestepped and moved around, barely managing to avoid the piercing swords.

Seeing this, Liam smiled and began sprinting forward.

Yet, unlike Zeng, who had to look up at all times to avoid the flying swords, Liam's gaze was locked on his enemy.

The swords above never seemed to get close to Liam, and whenever they were, they would suddenly adjust their angle before they hit him and fly away.

It was like Liam was walking in the middle of a raging rainstorm but completely dry.

"INCOMING FROM YOUR RIGHT!"

Hearing Raven's scream, Zeng momentarily shifted his gaze away from the ceiling and spotted Liam creeping up.

Without any hesitation, he shamelessly repeated Liam's motion and pointed his sword upward, making it perpendicular to the ceiling.

However, the dark-purple hue surged straight upward instead of slowly spreading out like Liam's divine blue hue.

A giant purple beam appeared on the tip of Zeng's sword and rocketed upward toward the divine blue cloud.

Though, like magnets repelling each other, the dark-purple beam suddenly slowed as it approached the divine-blue cloud.

As if expecting this, Zeng immediately swung his sword downward, making it perfectly horizontal and perpendicular to the walls of the vault.

Following the sword's tip, the beam also reappeared and surged forward...at the vault wall.

Zeng's sword and dark purple beam were not aimed at Liam but in the completely opposite direction.

Then, the beam suddenly slowed as a sword fell from the ceiling, directly blocking the beam's trajectory.

However, instead of completely stopping like last time, the beam suddenly bounced off the air right in front of the sword.

Now angled upwards, the beam approached the ceiling before once again slowing as it met the divine blue cloud.

Like a bouncy ball reflecting off a wall, the dark purple beam ricocheted right off the air below the divine blue cloud.

And now...it was aimed right at the air in front of Liam's figure.

As Liam took another step forward, the purple beam blasted ahead, and with only a second to react, Liam desperately raised his divine-blue sword.
