Transmigration: Step Into The World of Books And Become The Strongest!

Chapter 19: The Female Main Character, Sharon Valura

"Is this the task panel?" Arthur swallowed, unable to hide his surprise.

He examined the panel closely and read its contents carefully.

After ten minutes of reading and re-reading, he finally understood.

"So, I'm in a book world where the main character is a woman?" Arthur rubbed his chin, narrowing his eyes slightly.

Most of the novels he read were fantasy or rom-coms with male protagonists, but that didn't mean he had never read ones with female leads—often categorized under Shoujo or Josei.

In his experience, stories with female protagonists tended to emphasize emotions and romance, in stark contrast to those with male leads.

Of course, it all depended on the novel's theme.

Many female-led stories had intense plots, filled with bloodshed and action rather than love and drama.

And Rise of the Unwanted Queen, the book he was now entering, was definitely one of them.

Still, he couldn't draw any firm conclusions before gaining a clearer understanding of this world's background.

His gaze then landed on the [Memory] section. He assumed it contained information about the book's storyline, character descriptions, and other important details.

Without hesitation, he pressed "Accept" on the [Memory] section.

Immediately, a ball of light appeared in the air and shot straight toward his head.

Arthur didn't resist, allowing the light to enter. Instantly, a sharp, stinging pain surged through his nerves, forcing a groan from his lips.

Fortunately, it lasted only a moment. Within five seconds, the pain faded, replaced by a flood of memories from this body's original owner, along with other crucial information.

Arthur closed his eyes, carefully processing the influx of knowledge without rushing.

Fifteen minutes passed before he slowly opened his eyes.

His once-confused expression vanished, replaced by calm indifference.

'So, the owner of this body was named Aron, huh?' Arthur muttered under his breath, staring at his reflection in the mirror.

Aron was the personal servant of the main character, Sharon Valura. But he was far from an ordinary servant—he was a man with hidden talents.

And what kind of talents? Killing.

He was a former assassin from the world's most powerful assassin organization—One Eye.

That organization held influence across the entire continent, its reputation unquestionable.

As its top assassin, Aron was feared as an invincible figure. But he had made one fatal mistake—killing the leader of the One Eye Organization and fleeing.

To conceal his whereabouts, he fled to the Magic Kingdom of Valdom and disguised himself as the main character's personal servant.

In Rise of the Unwanted Queen, Aron played a crucial role—he was the male lead.

There was no second or third male lead, making him Sharon Valura's only partner.

Unfortunately, the story's ending didn't allow them to be together.

After a series of betrayals and wars, Sharon became the prime target of those who despised her.

Her enemies went so far as to hire assassins from the One Eye organization to eliminate her. However, with Aron by her side, their plans were doomed to fail.

Yet in the original story, Aron still met his end, leaving Sharon with a deep, lasting trauma.

That was the main reason she eventually became a ruthless and unforgiving tyrant.

'Damn it... This plot is way too brutal,' Arthur cursed under his breath, rubbing his temples.

He had assumed Rise of the Unwanted Queen was a female-led novel with an action-driven plot rather than a blood-soaked romance drama.

But reality proved otherwise. This novel was even bloodier and filled with the kind of disgusting drama he despised.

"Hah..." Arthur sighed in frustration.

Now, he was part of this world, and there was no choice but to complete the missions given to him.

*Tap… Tap…*

The sound of footsteps echoed from outside.

Moments later, the doorknob slowly turned before the door creaked open.

Arthur snapped out of his thoughts and turned his head toward the entrance, his eyes trembling slightly.

Standing in the doorway was a young girl, around fifteen or sixteen years old, with a bright smile on her lips.

She possessed an extraordinary beauty—charming and refined.

Despite her youth, a trace of mature elegance lingered in her features, something rarely seen in girls her age.

Her long silver hair was styled into a bun, resting gracefully on her left shoulder, while her bright blue eyes shone like a clear sky.

Dressed in a flowing white gown, her still-developing curves were subtly outlined beneath the fabric.

"Aron!"

The girl—none other than Sharon Valura—called out excitedly before running toward him.

Stopping just a meter away, she gazed at him with sparkling eyes, her smile unwavering.

"What's wrong, Aron? Why do you look so lost in thought?" She asked curiously, tilting her head slightly.

Arthur quickly regained his composure and offered a faint smile.

"I'm sorry, Princess. I was just thinking about something," he replied respectfully.

Though he was Sharon's personal servant, Aron had always been indifferent, cold, and distant toward her in the original story.

After all, he was the former number one assassin of the One Eye organization—a man of great pride who didn't bow to anyone easily.

His role as a servant was nothing more than a facade, and he never took Sharon—the outcast and neglected princess of the Magic Kingdom of Valdom—seriously.

Yet, at the moment of his death, Aron finally realized his feelings for Sharon and regretted the cold indifference he had shown her all this time.

Arthur had no intention of making the same mistake.

Besides, if he maintained Aron's original personality, completing his tasks would be nearly impossible.

Noticing Aron's uncharacteristically respectful demeanor, Sharon's smile faltered, her expression shifting to one of astonishment.

"Aron… Did you take the wrong medicine? Or did you hit your head on something?" She asked hesitantly.

Arthur: "…"
