Chapter 257: Why aren't we going in?
"So, this is our last destination." Seo-Jun said and I stared at the building, my eyes shrinking in disbelief.
"This... This is a..."
"An ice rink." Seo-Jun completed, smirking at me and I gulped.
To think the next destination was an enclosed ice rink.
After the movie ended, I was barely able to walk on two feet as I felt weak, the aftermath of the blow job I received.
And for every moment it looked like I was staggering, I could see Seo-Jun grinning, as if proud that he had gotten some kind of accomplishment out of this date.
I thought it was the end there and we would go grab dinner and then head back to the mansion, but to my surprise, we ended up at an ice rink.
We were still outside the building but I could already feel the cold air coming from the entrance.
It took a lot to maintain an ice rink, especially when it wasn't during winter.
Though I wasn't engaging in activities outside the mansion, I could tell that we were nearing the monsoon season where it was rather hotter than cold, despite the incoming rain.
So, how were they managing the ice rink... It was a surprise.
But seriously, an ice rink? Boy, it was a first for me and I was a bit nervous. I've never skated before and... And I don't think I'm a fan of walking on ice either.
In any case, it made my nerves tingle just thinking about it.
I glanced at Seo-Jun who simply stood with his hands tucked into his coat pockets and stared at me.
What was he looking at?
As if there was something stuck on my face, he wouldn't look away and that caused me to blush, unwillingly.
He had to stop staring, for crying out loud.
My heart wouldn't stop racing.
I darted my eyes away and turned my head but he moved as well, not wanting to miss a moment of staring at my face.
He was weird.
What was he even thinking about?
Wait, stop. I shouldn't ask that.
I have a feeling he'll tease me about how I moaned if I ask that out loud.
"What are you thinking about, Jo-Pil?" Seo-Jun asked, when he couldn't catch my face after I turned around completely. "Are you ignoring me?"
"N-no, I'm not." I said, but I couldn't even look him in the eye and answer that so yeah, I was indeed avoiding him.
"Hm, do you know when you fidget and blush like that, you look just like a bunny?" He asked and I snapped, embarrassed.
"Who... Who's blushing?" I asked, turning around to show him my furious face but he simply laughed and then lightly pinched my cheeks, dragging them to force my lips into a wide grin.
"There it is." He said, looking deep into my eyes, and I blinked, a bit confused at where he was getting at, but this closeness alone and the look in his eyes caught my breath, and I had to gulp in order to wet my dry throat.
Seriously... What was he doing to me?
I rolled my eyes down and decided to change the topic before things escalated beyond what I could handle.
I held his hand and took it off my face and he did not struggle to hold on, thankfully.
"Why... Why aren't we going in?" I asked, my voice a bit shaky with nervousness.
"Well, we're waiting for others." Seo-Jun said and tucked his hands in his pocket again. "They should be here any moment now."
Who were we waiting for? According to Seo-Jun's character, he wouldn't just let anyone come and join in on his fun, would he?
Then, the person we were waiting for was either the owner of the ice rink or... Something similar?
I thought like this but little did I know that I was dead wrong.
It wasn't the owner at all, but rather they were who I did not expect at all.
According to Seo-Jun's character, this should've never been an option. In fact, he would rather try his best to evade them than invite them and yet... Here they were.
The cars pulled over continuously in front of us, and seeing the family crests that stood tall in front of the cars, I was able to tell right away who the 'others' were, but I just couldn't understand why Seo-Jun would make this move.
He wanted me for himself, that was for certain but what he was doing went against that desire.
"I told you, Jo-Pil, didn't I?" Seo-Jun said, his hands on my shoulders as he whispered from behind me. "I'll do whatever I can to win your trust, even if I have to take steps like this."
I was surprised. Did he have to go this far?
"And I want to follow your method of making things fair amongst us. It's probably not fair that I'm the only one spending this day with you." He said, and I nearly side-eyed him.
He only thought of that now?
I sighed.
Why does he even need to go this far?
He won this day fair and square, so he has every right to spend the entire day with me, yet he wants to be generous.
How cute, and almost naive.
Well, he shouldn't blame me if someone else catches my absolute attention.
"Hyung," Min-Cheol called out and immediately embraced me, nearly breaking my back.
"Okay, okay, let's take it easy." I said and he raised his head, looking into my eyes with his teary ones.
What was making my little puppy cry now?
"I'm so jealous, Hyung." He claimed and started snuggling on my shoulders, but then he caught a whiff of Seo-Jun's Pheromones, which caused him to frown.
It was inevitable that I would have Seo-Jun's smell all over me, and he didn't necessarily need to know we did anything 'dirty'; still, he wasn't happy about it.
"Are you jealous because I spent the day with master Sun?" I asked, and he nodded, not even hiding the product of his jealousy, and his eyes met with Seo-Jun's.
"He didn't do anything bad to you, did he?"
"Hey, I didn't exactly share my location just to be belittled by a kid." Seo-Jun said, his voice sounding cranky but Min-Cheol couldn't care less.
"Who cares what you want?" Min-Cheol asked and then turned his head towards me. "But I'm glad you're safe, Hyung. I don't trust that old man one bit. He's always up to some funny business."
Seo-Jun's forehead irked at Min-Cheol's open remarks.
"I can hear you, you know."
But Min-Cheol didn't care and only wanted to hold me.
The next one to come down from their car was Jin-Yeok.
He looked at us from where he stood and then snickered to himself.
"So, this day eventually came." He muttered as he walked towards us and then stood beside us since he wouldn't be able to see my face properly if he stood in front of me.
Min-Cheol wouldn't let go, you see.
"How are you doing, Jo-Pil?" He asked and for some reason, I could feel a level of dominance coming from him.
Was he mad?
'Is he trying to exert dominance because he doesn't like this situation or...?'
"I picked a bunch of winter clothes for you on my way here so I'd like you to try them all." He said, his emerald eyes glinting in excitement.
He looked like an excited fox and I could've sworn I saw a tail wagging behind him.
'Never mind. I just thought too much.' I thought, dismissing my concerns.
"It'll be cold in the ice rink so you need to be properly clothed." He said. Ah, here he goes again with his excessive concern that I've come to grow accustomed to.
"Thank you, master." I said. "Then, did you get enough for everyone?" I asked and he paused.
His lips lightly twisted as he scoffed in dissatisfaction but he answered regardless,
"Unfortunately, yes."
Ah, so he did get them, but he wasn't happy.
Seeing this, I chuckled and his eyes widened, as if he wasn't expecting that.
Why were they all acting cute today?
I couldn't help but laugh softly.
Maybe we should do this more often with the four of them in one place. Sometimes, it could be peaceful, but other times, it could be chaos, but I wasn't complaining.
Though hectic, I found their chaos entertaining.
"It seems I'm the last one to arrive." I heard Ki-hoon's voice and lifted my gaze to find him walking towards us, his coat on one hand and his other hand adjusting his tied.
He looked like a handsome businman who was ready to her down to business.
He looked hot.
Ah, my breath hit caught.
His eyes met mine and for some reason, I turned my head away.
That was weird. I shouldn't turn my head away for any reason but somehow... Ki-hoon's gaze gave me a rather dangerous feeling.
My heart felt nervous and was beating randomly. What to do? I don't want Ki-hoon to misunderstand but...
"You lot sure took your time." Seo-Jun said, "Well, since we're all here, let's head in. The rink won't skate itself."
