Trillionaire's Slice of Life

Chapter 180 It's an honor to serve Mr. Chu_2

Chu Mo's footsteps didn't stop as he passed through, glancing just once as he went by the swimming pool. A ripple on the blue water sparked an urge to jump in and swim a few laps, but by the time he reached the 200-square-meter living room of Villa No. 1 and was met with its spacious and luxurious ambiance, Chu Mo suddenly felt a sense of familiarity.

"Mr. Chu."

Ten maids bowed in unison with respect. Chu Mo smiled and nodded, then continued towards the cozy dining room.

Settling into the main seat, the obedient and adorable maids began serving a series of exquisite breakfast dishes. Chu Mo first took a couple of sips of millet porridge, then his eyes revealed a contented look.

After breakfast, as always, he let the maids gently wipe the corners of his mouth and hands. He gave a tender smile to a petite maid named Little Bell. As the little maid blushed slightly, Chu Mo, in high spirits, sat squarely in his own living room.

Without needing to say a word, the head maid brought Chu Mo books and a notebook. Suddenly experiencing a moment of insight, Chu Mo seemed to grasp something elusive, as if inspiration was about to burst forth from his heart.

Opening the document on his notebook, Chu Mo, now seated quietly on the sofa, began to rapidly type one character after another.

Chu Mo was serious; his gaze, apart from the notebook in front of him, contained nothing else.

This was Chu Mo's state when he entered his writing mode. Usually at this time, he didn't like to be disturbed, and his concentration was at its peak.

Time flew, and when his notebook was finally filled with characters, Chu Mo gently stopped and nodded in satisfaction.

"Mr. Chu."

The gruff voice that rang in his ear drew Chu Mo's attention. He looked up gently, finally tearing his gaze away from the notebook, and noticed that a tall and imposing man was standing in front of him.

It was Detective Agency President Jiang Tao.

The tall man had been standing there waiting for an unknown length of time. Chu Mo casually saved the document and closed the notebook before speaking:

"Is everything ready?"

The tall man in front of him nodded gravely, his gruff voice asserting:

"The guest will arrive at Nanhong Airport at 2:30 PM. We will depart at 12:00 PM, led by me personally. We should arrive at the airport to wait before 1:00 PM and reach Tianxiangyuan Grand Hotel around 3:00 PM. The current time is 10:05 AM, and all 150 detectives from the agency have assembled."

Seeing the tall man in front of him looking solemn and serious, Chu Mo knew he had taken the task he assigned seriously. He nodded slightly and then responded gently:

"Very good, proceed as planned. I will be waiting for you at the Tianxiangyuan Grand Hotel. Go ahead."
Your journey continues on empire

Chu Mo waved, and Detective Agency President Jiang Tao bowed again and retreated, restoring the hall to its previous calm.

Chu Mo glanced at his watch.

10:06 AM. In five hours, the guest would arrive at Tianxiang Garden. Without further delay, he stood up and casually ordered:

"Danny, let's set off."

The middle-aged butler immediately nodded in assent.

As Chu Mo approached the living room door, the foreign maid Annie bent down to help him change out of his slippers. Stepping into custom-made crocodile leather shoes, head maid He Qing approached.

She personally tied a sky-blue cravat for Chu Mo, then tenderly smoothed out any creases in his shirt sleeves. Once sure everything was immaculate, the head maid, recently promoted to level eight with a monthly salary of half a million, bowed respectfully, her voice full of warmth:

"Mr. Chu, I wish you every success."

With a smile and nod, Chu Mo stepped out on immaculately polished shoes, dressed in a semi-formal, semi-casual suit with a pair of confident black eyes behind golden glasses. As he walked to the hall entrance, a chauffeured Rolls-Royce Phantom was already parked steadily at the front.

The butler Danny opened the rear door of the car for Chu Mo. As Chu Mo slid into the back seat and the door closed, the Rolls-Royce began to move smoothly on Chu Mo's calm instruction. Behind him, the butler and ten maids stood respectfully outside the villa, seeing him off.

"Tianxiang Garden."

At this soft utterance, the driver Fang Lihu immediately responded. Then, Chu Mo, without saying more, rested with his eyes closed.

It was still early, but Chu Mo wanted to check the setup at Tianxiang Garden in advance. Although he had already instructed Zhan Bingxue, informing her that a VIP guest would be received, he hadn't inquired further.

Now, arriving a few hours early to inspect would leave room for adjustments where needed. Otherwise, going in the afternoon would leave no time for changes if something was unsatisfactory.

Emperor Xuan Villas were already centrally located in the city, and Tianxiang Garden was right at the heart of Magic Capital—very close by. If it weren't for a few traffic lights on the way, it would only take about ten minutes to get there.

Fifteen minutes later, after turning the last corner, the 95-floor Tianxiangyuan Grand Hotel loomed into view.

Even amidst Magic Capital's forest of high-rises, a nearly hundred-floor building like Tianxiang Garden stood as a landmark.

Two minutes later, the procession pulled into the broad front of the Tianxiangyuan Grand Hotel. The hotel's main entrance usually would be filled with luxury cars, but today, it was unusually empty.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom stopped precisely in front of the hotel's main door, where Zhan Bingxue, already notified, stood awaiting him with the hotel's senior executives, all showing deference.

As Fang Lihu, over two meters tall, opened the car door for Chu Mo, the latter stepped down onto the hotel's ground in front of him. Chu Mo paid no attention to the crowd of hotel executives; instead, he surveyed the entrance of Tianxiang Garden with a serious demeanor.
