Trillionaire's Slice of Life

Chapter 535: The Heir of the Future_2

For an ordinary young girl, luxury goods possess a fatal attraction, yet in her eyes, they were just the most commonplace things. What she ate, wore, and used every day, were all these top-tier private customizations, so naturally she wouldn't be excited by such things.

As for sports cars and yachts that could make other girls scream, they were even more mundane to her.

The first thing that came to Chu Mo's mind was the yacht on the sea, which he quickly dismissed.

That luxurious yacht, worth hundreds of millions and over a hundred meters in length, was always maintained at the yacht club. Although Chu Mo could have set it sailing with a single command, having a yacht or something of the sort, probably really wouldn't attract Liu Manli that much.

Taking a deep breath while racking his brains, Chu Mo's phone suddenly vibrated again. Checking the phone, he saw, as expected, another message from the little girl Tao Yun.

Chu Mo suddenly opened the photo Tao Yun had just sent. This time his gaze did not linger on Zhou Yuanyuan and the sunny boy in the center of the photo, but rather on the sports field behind them.

The sun shone perfectly at the University of Science and Technology at that moment, where countless enthusiastic students ran on the field, with the massive parasol trees lush in the background. Even through the photo, Chu Mo felt as if he could hear the laughter from the campus.

Ignoring Tao Yun's message, Chu Mo looked up at Liu Manli, who was full of anticipation in front of him, and smiled slightly, saying with a warm smile, "I'll take you to a place you haven't been to in a long time!"

No sooner had Chu Mo finished speaking than the sensuous woman across him nodded immediately. She didn't chase after him with questions about the destination like an ordinary young girl would, but stood up, full of anticipation, seemingly unwilling to delay their precious time together for even a moment.

Chu Mo also stood up, and the two walked shoulder to shoulder toward the private elevator. The restaurant manager and a host of waitstaff immediately greeted them respectfully. They took the elevator, Chu Mo pressed the button for the first-floor lobby, and the high-speed elevator descended rapidly. In just a few seconds, it zipped down from the eighty-eighth floor to the ground level.

When the elevator doors opened, the chief bodyguard, Fan Gao, was standing guard with a group of men in black.

Chu Mo's gaze swept over them, failing to spot Lei Ting. Without further ado, he led Liu Manli toward the hotel's main entrance.

Dozens of waitstaff bowed in unison to see them off, and several senior hotel executives followed carefully behind. As Chu Mo stepped out of the lobby, two rows of greeting hostesses with stunning appearances displayed their brightest smiles.

Six luxury cars were neatly parked at the door, including Chu Mo's Rolls-Royce and Bentley. There was also a stretched Lincoln that appeared a bit unfamiliar.

Chu Mo knew that this luxurious stretched Lincoln must surely be Liu Manli's personal car.

He personally opened the rear door of the Lincoln for Liu Manli, and as she climbed into the car, Chu Mo took the opportunity to ask Fan Gao in a low voice, "Where is Lei Ting?"

Without any hesitation, Fan Gao replied in a similarly hushed tone, "Lei Ting is currently with Miss Qin Lan. Miss Qin Lan's Nine Revolutions Divine Technique broke through this morning and seems to have reached A-level. Fearing any mishaps, Lei Ting chose to stay in Villa No. 1 to watch over Miss Qin Lan's cultivation."

Hearing this, Chu Mo nodded slightly and, without another word, climbed into the stretch Lincoln as well.

The dozen-or-so black-clad bodyguards quickly got into their vehicles, and with the motorcade starting off slowly, the executives at the Tianxiangyuan Hotel entrance bent over once more to send them off.

Leading the way was Chu Mo's Rolls-Royce. Chu Mo had already informed Fan Gao of the destination in advance, so he had no worries.

The stretched Lincoln was spacious, with the entire car having been modified. The soft seats were upholstered in Italian leather, and even the window glass had been custom-made as bulletproof.

Liu Manli at his side kept glancing at Chu Mo with her peachy eyes, her expression somewhat dreamy. It was unclear what was on her mind. Chu Mo leaned in close to her, and when they were shoulder to shoulder, he said with a smile, "What are you thinking about? You seem very happy."

Next to him, Liu Manli's cheeks suddenly turned bright red. She felt a bit embarrassed, turned her head away, and dared not look at Chu Mo any longer. She shook her head and said:

"It's nothing. I was just thinking that if we had a child, they might look better if they resembled you. I really like your nose and mouth. If we had a daughter, I hope she would have a nose like yours. But she definitely can't have eyes like yours."

Liu Manli's voice was filled with longing, and in that moment, she was very much like a young girl in the throes of passion, without a hint of ulterior motive.

As Chu Mo listened to her, he was also slightly taken aback. He looked at the woman beside him with newfound seriousness. As the richest woman in Hua Country and the goddess in the hearts of all bachelors, Liu Manli was the epitome of maturity and sexiness.

Her skin was fair, she had a tall figure, and she also possessed a not insignificant beauty. Although her 94 points in looks did not make her the most stunning beauty in the country, she was still goddess-level in the eyes of ordinary people.

What was rare was that Liu Manli had received an elite education from a young age. She took over the family business when she was thirty, and for six whole years, despite the covert suppression by the eight major families, she had held the Liu family's businesses firm and steady.

Without the interference from the major families and her own considerations, the Liu family might have soared even higher under her leadership.

Chu Mo looked at Liu Manli, and although he was slow to catch on to matters of the opposite sex, he now understood that Liu Manli's intention of staying here for three days was simply to have a child with him.

He had not considered this idea before because the spokespeople around him were all very busy, and his assets were expanding rapidly. He had intended to wait a few more years for things to settle down before considering this matter.

However, since Liu Manli had brought it up, Chu Mo remained silent for a moment and did not reject her proposal.

One reason was that Liu Manli was indeed getting older – at thirty-six, if she did not contemplate the next generation, it could pose great risks later on. Furthermore, since Liu Manli had chosen him, Chu Mo naturally wanted to ensure her safety.

The car interior became quiet again. Seeing that Chu Mo was not speaking, Liu Manli suddenly became careful and asked:

"What's wrong? Are you not happy?"

Chu Mo gently shook his head and curved his lips slightly. Then, in a gentle voice, he said:

"No, I was thinking, if it's a boy, we can name him Chu Jie, and if it's a girl, how about Chu Meng'er?"

Upon hearing this and seeing that Chu Mo had not refused, Liu Manli immediately relaxed and couldn't help but pout:

"What are you thinking? This is the only descendant of the Liu family. We have hundreds of billions in assets relying on this little one to inherit. How could they possibly have the surname Chu? It has to be Liu. And the names you picked are so tacky. I would never let our child be called Little Jie or Little Meng. I'll come up with the name!"

Chu Mo smiled softly and did not argue. He understood that what Liu Manli wanted was a descendant to inherit the Liu family's fortunes. However, it was still his own child, so the surname did not really matter.

What mattered most was that Chu Mo was certain he wouldn't have just one child with Liu Manli. In another couple of years, when his career was stable, he would surely marry someone he loved and have children, naturally providing his own heirs.

The convoy paused for a moment, then the vehicles turned and soon stopped in a parking lot.

A black-clad bodyguard opened the door for them, and Chu Mo got out. Then he took Liu Manli by her jade-like hand, helping her out of the car.

As they stood on the ground and looked around, Liu Manli suddenly laughed and asked:

"This place is... a school?"

Chu Mo nodded, took a deep breath of fresh air, and feeling spirited, said:

"Since you've had enough of those shopping malls and luxury stores, I thought it would be nice to take you somewhere lively. This is where my cousin Chu Xiner studies at the University of Science and Technology. My biggest dream when I was in high school was to enroll here, but I didn't manage to. This is actually my first time stepping foot here. How about we walk around the school's sports field and then play some ball together?"

A smile also appeared at the corner of Liu Manli's eyes. She nodded slightly, and then gently wrapped her arm around Chu Mo's.
