UCHIHA: THE ATTACK ON KONOHA

Chapter 17: Awakening

"Haha, Mom, look! I found a strange fruit!"

Uchiha Yang, a curious and adventurous boy, held up the glowing fruit he had just picked up near the Naka River. The golden sheen pulsated in his palm, radiating a warmth he had never felt before.

"If you don't give it up, you don't give it up. This is mine," he said stubbornly, pulling it closer.

"Don't grab it! If you try, I'll eat it first!"

With a mischievous grin, Yang took a big bite. The moment the juice hit his tongue, a burning sensation spread through his body.

"Ugh! This tastes worse than spoiled dango… What the hell is this?!" His stomach churned. "Wait… is it poisonous? Damn, I feel like I'm on fire!"

A searing heat erupted from within, as though Amaterasu itself had been ignited inside his veins. His limbs trembled, and his chakra flared uncontrollably.

"Mom! Help me! It hurts… so much…" Yang collapsed, clutching his chest as if his very soul were being ripped apart. His body convulsed, and a suffocating light engulfed him.

The Realm of Light

When he opened his eyes, he was somewhere else—an endless expanse of radiant energy. Standing before him was a boy who looked both familiar and foreign, his Sharingan spinning with three tomoe.

"Big brother, hello. My name is Uchiha Yang. You can call me Xiaoyang—that's what my parents call me," the child said softly.

Yang frowned. "You're Uchiha Yang? Then… who am I?"

The boy smiled sadly. "That's for you to answer. You followed the light and entered my body."

Yang's eyes widened. "You mean… I died?"

"I did," the boy corrected. "But before I left, I found you. I don't want my parents to grieve. I don't want my clan to be wiped out, not like in the future I've seen."

"What do you mean?" Yang's breath hitched.

"In your world, our story is just a manga. But here, it's real. Our family—our friends—they were all slaughtered. And I refuse to accept that fate."

The boy's Sharingan spun faster, transforming into a kaleidoscope of intricate patterns.

"I brought you here because I found a way. Only if you grow strong can we change this destiny." He clenched his fists. "I will entrust you with everything—my will, my strength, my very existence."

The glowing orb beside them pulsed.

"This is our last chance."

"Kaleidoscope Sharingan—Turning Emptiness into Reality!"

The orb of light surged into Yang's chest, and an unbearable heat overwhelmed him. His body dissolved into pure energy, merging with the essence of the boy before him.

Yang screamed, his voice swallowed by the radiance.

"From now on, you are me. I am you. We are one."

The warmth wrapped around him, not painful this time, but familiar. A part of him. A part of Uchiha.

Rebirth

"You're awake!" A voice jolted him.

Yang blinked. A masked man loomed over him, his eyes sharp and analyzing.

"Damn, where did this idiot find me? Thinks I'm blind now?" Yang muttered. "Tch, I'm not deaf either."

A chuckle erupted nearby. "I think Yang seems different…" Uchiha Retsu noted, narrowing his eyes.

"Yeah," Uchiha Yan agreed. "He used to be so quiet, like he carried the weight of the world. But now… it's like he's finally let go of something."

Yang stretched, a smirk forming. "Hah… I just had a dream. And in that dream, I made a promise. I'm here to save you."

Uchiha Mei cracked her knuckles. "Save us? You've been in a coma for two days. Do you even know what's going on?"

"Hmph. You'll see soon enough."

The Awakening of Light Release

Days passed, and Yang tested his newfound strength. He ventured to a quiet training ground, the same riverbank where he had found the mysterious fruit.

Performing a few hand seals, he felt it immediately—his chakra was different. More refined. More attuned. His movements were sharper, his control over jutsu smoother.

He released a burst of lightning chakra into his palm. Chidori. But the energy wasn't the usual blue; it flickered gold.

Striking the ground, the earth cracked apart in a burst of force reminiscent of Tsunade's monstrous strength.

"Hah… this isn't just lightning," Yang muttered. "This… is something else entirely."

He stared at his palm, where golden chakra pulsed.

"This… is Light Release."

A combination of Fire, Lightning, Wind, and Yang Release—an advanced kekkei tōta on par with Dust Release.

"No one can know about this yet," he thought. "Not until I'm ready."

He grinned. "But for now… I've got some training to do."

Turning on his heel, Uchiha Yang vanished into the forest, ready to forge his new path.
