Chapter 630: Divine seed

Xiang Yu froze, startled by Han Xin's words. He couldn't believe it. It was too good to be true that he thought he was dreaming.

He was about to speak, to ask how Han Xin could possibly be here, when his words were stolen—his lips claimed in a fierce, urgent kiss.

The force of it left him breathless, his body going hot and numb all at once. His mind went blank, the strange realm around them fading until there was only Han Xin, his warmth, his scent, the unyielding press of his mouth.

A sharp jolt against Han Xin's leg broke the moment for a heartbeat. The little white light ball had rammed into him, as if protesting the intimacy. Without breaking the kiss, Han Xin lashed out with a swift kick, sending the glowing nuisance tumbling away into the distance.

The aggression in the kiss softened, melting into something slow and tender. Xiang Yu felt the lingering nausea that had plagued him dissolve, replaced by a strange, heady clarity. He leaned in without thinking, drawn closer as though Han Xin were the only thing keeping him steady.

What he didn't realise was that the pull he felt was more than longing. It was hunger. His soul craved Han Xin's divine power. Xiang Yu clung tightly to his man like a fish desperate for water, their kiss deepening with a hunger that blurred the line between passion and desperation.

Xiang Yu's body trembled as he unknowingly drew in Han Xin's divine power, drinking it like lifeblood. And Han Xin, far from resisting, gave freely, as if he would pour every last drop of himself into Xiang Yu without hesitation. But then, Xiang Yu felt a familiar pain.

A sharp, searing stab pierced Xiang Yu's soul. He groaned, the sound raw and involuntary. Han Xin, still dazed, blinked slowly, his breath catching. "Yu Yu?" he whispered, voice breathy and confused. "Why did you—"

Before he could finish, Xiang Yu was ripped from his arms, torn away by an unseen force. His form dissolved into light, pulled violently back into the Realm of Annihilation.

Han Xin stood frozen, staring into the void where Xiang Yu had vanished. The darkness stretched endlessly, mocking him. His body trembled, veins pulsing with divine energy that refused to settle. His emotions surged, grief, rage, helplessness and then... something snapped.

A violent storm erupted across the Divine Realm. Skies darkened, winds howled, and the ground quaked. It was as if the supreme divine dragon had awakened, furious and unbound.

Han Jun staggered back, stunned by the intensity. His son was no longer the composed strategist he had raised. Han Xin had transcended, his power now eclipsing even Han Jun's own. The blue glow in Han Xin's eyes was dazzling, terrifying, divine.

Han Xin turned, gaze locked on a distant point. Without a word, he vanished. Han Jun didn't hesitate. He followed instantly, his form disappearing in a flash of light.

Han Zhan tried to keep up, but the gap between them was too vast. He could only watch as the supreme divine immortals moved beyond his reach.

Moments ago, Xue Wuheng had been silently observing Xiang Yu and what he saw made his lips curl into a sinister grin.

In the Divine Realm, there were whispers of a phenomenon so rare that even the oldest immortals spoke of it like a half-forgotten myth—the Divine Seed.

It was said that when two exceptionally powerful divine immortals joined in their true divine states, their essences could intertwine beyond flesh and soul. One would willingly imbed a fragment of their own divine power deep within the other, a spark of creation born not of mortal bloodlines but of pure celestial force. This fragment, once given, would take root in the partner's spiritual realm.

From that moment on, the one carrying the seed would occasionally feel an ache unlike any injury, a sickness that no medicine could cure. The discomfort came in waves, the divine seed straining to grow, its radiance feeding on the divine power of the one who planted it.

To soothe the pain and allow the seed to thrive, the bearer would instinctively seek their partner's presence, drawing on their energy in moments of closeness.

Over decades, centuries even, the seed would mature. When it fully morphed into its own divine body, a powerful divine being is born with exceptional power.

Such incidents were so rare, requiring both power and a bond beyond ambition, so rare that most believed them impossible that was until Han Xin was born. And yet, it had happened again one generation over.

The day Han Xin entered in his divine state and took Xiang Yu in his spiritual realm, he had done what most couldn't. During his intense climax, he had imbedded a part of himself into Xiang Yu, giving him a Divine Seed.

Xiang Yu had left that realm unaware. In fact, even the culprit himself had no idea what he had done.

The sickness Xiang Yu had felt, the sudden relief in Han Xin's arms, it was not mere comfort. It was the seed quietly feeding, growing. This was what Xue Wuheng had seen and now he was going to take full advantage of it.

Xue Wuheng spun the dagger in his hand. It gleamed with a cold, otherworldly light, its slender blade etched in runes so ancient that even the oldest immortals could not read them in full.

This was no ordinary divine weapon. It was The Soul-Breaker of Nine Heavens, a relic from an era when the cosmos was still young, once wielded by a divine emperor whose name was spoken with both awe and terror.

It had been forged in the Eternal Forge by the greatest grandmaster to ever grace the Divine Realm, tempered in the breath of a dying star, and quenched in the waters of the Primordial Spring. But what made it truly feared was not its craftsmanship, it was the fragment of the ancient divine emperor's soul sealed within its core.
