"Is it ready?" Ashen questioned, glancing inside the cave.

"Yes, Master. I have done as you've ordered me to." Ji Jun replied respectfully. "I cannot wait to let you see my accomplishment. I humbly ask that you follow me inside."

Ashen nodded silently before following after Ji Jun.

The cave had a narrow pathway at first, however, soon, the pathway became broad enough for a carriage to pass through.

As they went further, the cave became brighter from the illumination of fire lanterns that were placed inside.

Soon, the pathway widened suddenly into a massive underground chamber with multiple cages full of people inside that had shackles around their necks and hands.

Ji Jun pointed at them and informed excitedly:

"Master, These are all slaves from the Eastern region who have 4-star and 5-star spirits. With the money you sent me, it was easy to procure them."

Ashen nodded in satisfaction before ordering:

"Segregate the slaves who have 4-star spirit and bring them to me one by one. Tell them to summon their spirit when their turn comes."

Although Ji Jun didn't know his master's motive behind this, he followed his orders faithfully.

He nodded before getting to work.

Meanwhile, Ashen took out a comfortable and luxurious looking chair out of his space ring and sat on it.

He waited patiently for Ji Jun to begin sending the slaves.

It was not long before a muscular man walked toward him with a lowered gaze. He stopped 5m away from Ashen before summoning his 4-star spirit — A white leopard that was more than 6 feet in height.

Ashen, on the other hand, summoned his own 4-star spirit —— The Four-headed Eerie Destruction Draken.

8m in height, with four long dragon heads, all of different shades of color —— White, Blue, Green, and lastly Red.

It was massive and with the dragon scales covering its huge body, it appeared invincible.

As soon as the slave's gaze fell on the spirit, his eyes widened in horror before he yelled: "Monster! A Monster!!"

His voice attracted the attention of the other slaves too as a state of panic instilled in the slaves.

But despite their desire to run, they couldn't.

They were bound in shackles and there was Ji Jun on top of it, a King realm cultivator.

"Are they going to feed us to that monster?" One of the younger slaves asked with a horrified expression.

At this moment, Ji Jun's pressure enveloped them as his threatening voice entered their ears: "Quiet! You all are slaves, even if we feed you to a monster, you cannot complain! I've paid for you all!"

Hearing his words, they all remembered their status as slaves. He was right. Since he had bought them, he could do whatever he wanted with them.

Ashen waited for everything to calm down before glancing at the muscular slave in front of him with a gentle smile.

He rolled his finger as he spoke: "Come forward."

Gulp!

The slave gulped loudly in fear before closing his eyes and moving forward.

His spirit moved forward along with him.

Ashen glanced at the Draken and spoke gently: "You can eat."

Hearing his words, the slave felt death inevitable. He clearly heard him say to the monster to eat.

Soon after, he felt a whiff of air brush past him as he noticed that his connection to his spirit had vanished.

He opened his eyes slowly before glancing beside him where his spirit should've been, however, his spirit was nowhere to be seen.

He looked at the monster and it was standing calmly without any movement.

At this moment, he heard Ashen's voice: "You can go."

He was bewildered as he left to go back to his cell.

At this moment, he realized that there was only one way to find out what happened to his spirit.

While going back, he kept glancing towards the slave who was after him to see what would happen to his spirit.

And soon he saw it.

The monster opened the big mouth of its white-colored head and sucked the slave's spirit right inside. The spirit couldn't even resist being devoured like that.

It was as if that was not a spirit but food for the monster.

"What kind of monster... is that?" He murmured with wide eyes in disbelief.

Soon he was back in his cell.

On the other hand, the Draken kept on devouring 4-star spirits and as soon as it devoured its 55th spirit, it began to glow, prompting a smile to appear on Ashen's face.

With the glow, it turned ethereal as it grew in size, stopping only after attaining a height of whopping 18m.

A new head popped out which was a shade of brown and the tail grew longer.

It also grew in length, becoming similar to a dragon in the true sense. It also grew a pair of dragon horns, however, for every head, there were different horns.

For the red head, the horn grew above its elongated area above the nostrils. It was similar to a rhino horn.

Similarly, the brown head grew circular horns similar to a goat.

The blue head grew a pair of horns that matched a western dragon from fantasies.

The green head had a pair of horns that were straight but sharp and the last, white head had a mix of blue and red heads' horns.

Moreover, due to its increase in height, the heads were almost touching the ceiling.

Ashen decided to take the spirit out before feeding it more.

He called back the spirit and flew out of the cave. He knew that his spirit won't be able to go through the passageway without destroying it.

Ji Jun followed him to the outside.

Ashen informed him to bring the slaves with 5 stars one by one outside.

Ji Jun instantly adhered to his command before beginning to send out slaves.

Ashen summoned his spirit again, letting it devour the 5-star spirits.

Even though the 5-star spirits were massive in size, Ashen's spirit had no problem devouring them like air.

As it devoured its 40th spirit, it began to glow again.
