Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives

Chapter 1661: Numbers (Magic Castle Bonus)

Villain Ch 1661. Numbers (Magic Castle Bonus)

They exited the private cinema slowly, the staff bowing politely as Allen made a small hand gesture toward the counter. His card was already on file — payment handled wordlessly, as expected.

The polished marble floor glistened under the warm evening lights as they stepped out into the open air again. The sun was low now, casting long shadows across the quiet parking lot.

Mila walked beside him, still holding onto his hand — or maybe he was still holding hers. She couldn't quite tell anymore. All she knew was, the warmth of his palm against hers was starting to feel dangerously addictive.

Allen glanced sideways at her, voice as smooth as always.

"Do you need anything else before I take you home?"

Mila's heart kicked hard against her ribs.

For half a second, her brain almost blurted it out 'You'.

Her lips even parted slightly as if she was going to say it.

But she stopped herself just in time, catching the words before they slipped free.

No.

Not yet.

She still had work to do. She still needed to stabilize this fragile, delicate thread between them first.

So instead, she smiled softly, shaking her head.

"I'm good."

Allen didn't push.

He simply tightened his fingers gently around hers and continued walking.

The black luxury car was already waiting for them — as always, Kai standing by the open door.

"Sir," Kai greeted softly as they approached.

Allen nodded once as he guided Mila inside first before sliding in after her.

The doors closed with that satisfying, cushioned sound of complete isolation.

Kai started the engine smoothly, pulling away from the private lot.

"Goldborne mansion or Sterlinghart estate, sir?" Kai asked without looking into the mirror.

Allen's eyes flicked briefly toward Mila, watching her reaction.

Her breath caught again — not out of fear, but because she wasn't expecting him to ask.

This was it. The moment where the line between their worlds always became more visible.

But Allen answered for her.

"Sterlinghart estate."

Mila nodded softly, silently grateful he didn't make it awkward.

Kai adjusted his route and merged them smoothly onto the evening road.

For a while — silence.

But not an empty silence.

It was full.

Heavy.

Tangible.

The kind of silence where both hearts knew exactly what was hanging in the air, but neither dared to speak it out loud.

Mila stole tiny glances at Allen, watching him out of the corner of her eye.

He looked as composed as ever — his free hand resting easily on his lap, while his other hand still firmly held hers like it belonged there.

And that was the part that kept setting her entire system on fire.

Her skin tingled at the constant contact.

She could feel her pulse inside her fingertips, matching the quickened rhythm of her chest.

She secretly wished the traffic would suddenly become horrible.

Maybe an accident up ahead.

A traffic jam.

A long red light.

Anything to keep this drive from ending too soon.

But, of course, the road was perfectly clear.

The luxury car glided like a shadow through the city, as if the world had conspired to give them the smoothest ride possible.

Allen glanced at her again, eyes glinting softly with amusement.

He knew.

Of course he knew.

In his mind, he debated whether to push her further — just lightly.

Maybe lean closer.

Whisper something into her ear.

Let her crumble again like earlier in the cinema.

But no.

He needed to pull back now.

The push-pull tension had to be carefully balanced.

Too much pressure, and she might burn out.

He was playing a longer game with Mila.

Because her situation was more complicated.

Because her family was still watching.

Allen smiled faintly to himself.

'Patience.'

Mila felt his thumb stroke lightly against the back of her hand, a subtle movement that shot heat straight into her stomach.

How could something so small make her head spin like this?

They finally slowed as the Sterlinghart estate gates appeared ahead.

The tall iron gates stood firm and proud, lined with spotless hedges and private security cameras pointed in every direction.

As expected, the guards didn't allow Allen's car to pass inside.

Kai stopped smoothly at the outer drop-off area.

Allen turned toward Mila one last time, his voice still carrying that soft velvet edge.

"Here we are."

Mila's stomach twisted.

'Already?'

She hesitated, fingers tightening around his. "Uh… bye, I guess…"

Allen smiled gently.

"Wait."

He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out his phone.

Then gestured for hers.

Mila blinked, caught off guard. "Oh. Um, sure."

She handed him her phone nervously.

Her fingers brushed his briefly again — even that little touch sent another jolt through her.

Allen calmly typed something into her contact list.

When he handed it back to her, she looked down at the name he'd saved.

Mila stared at it for a second, blinking, before looking up at him, confused but amused.

"Besti3…? Really?"

Allen chuckled softly, eyes glittering with that dangerous humor of his.

"A little cringe, I know. But useful."

"Useful?"

He leaned in slightly, voice dropping into that low whisper again.

"To make sure your brother and the others won't suspect anything if they check your phone."

Mila's heart thumped wildly at how casually he said it — how perfectly he calculated every detail to protect them.

Her voice came out softer now. "You think they'd check?"

Allen's smile deepened.

"They're overprotective. And curious. And they're men. Of course they will."

Mila bit her lip, trying not to smile too wide.

God, even when he was teasing, he sounded so calm.

So sure.

So… intoxicating.

"Don't let them know my number, okay?" Allen added.

She nodded quickly. "I won't."

This moment — this tiny thing — felt bigger to her than she expected.

Because for the first time, she had a private, personal connection to him now.

Direct.

Hidden.

Hers.

Her hands trembled slightly as she clutched the phone to her chest.

Allen smiled softly one more time before finally releasing her hand for the first time since they left the cinema.

"I'll text you later."

Mila's entire body was buzzing as she stepped out of the car.

The cool air hit her like a splash of water, but the warmth inside her chest refused to fade.

The black car door closed gently behind her.

And as Kai pulled the car away into the quiet street, Mila stood frozen in place for a moment, holding her phone tightly.

Her world was still spinning.

Still burning.

And she loved it.
