Chapter 4: Talks of Horus and Guiliman (flashback)
A war-torn chamber within a hidden enclave on the fringes of Ultramar. The remnants of the loyalist forces and Horus' repentant warriors gather, tension thick in the air. The chamber is dimly lit, shadows cast by the flickering remnants of ancient lumens.
Horus: (Entering with a small cadre of loyal warriors, his presence commanding but burdened with guilt) "Roboute, I—"
Guilliman: (With a roar of rage, he strides forward and delivers a powerful punch to Horus' face, knocking him back) "You dare show your face here, traitor!"
Loyalist Warrior: (Tensing, ready to intervene) "My lord, should we—"
Horus: (Holding up a hand to stop his legionaries, his voice calm but firm) "No. Let him. Do not interfere."
Guilliman: (Breathing heavily, fists clenched, eyes blazing with fury) "Do you have any idea the pain and suffering you've caused? Terra is in ruins, the Sol System is a new Eye of Terror, and countless lives have been lost because of you!"
Horus: (Wiping blood from his lip, his expression somber) "I know, Roboute. I see the destruction I have wrought. But now I am free, and I'm here to make amends, to fight against the chaos I once embraced."
Guilliman: (Grabbing Horus by the collar, shaking him) "Make amends? How can you possibly atone for the betrayal of your brothers, for the death of the Emperor?"
Horus: (Meeting Guilliman's gaze, his eyes filled with remorse) "I don't ask for forgiveness, only for the chance to prove my sincerity. To fight alongside you and protect humanity from the horrors of Chaos."
Guilliman: (Shoving Horus away, still seething with anger) "Words mean nothing, Horus. You've torn the galaxy apart. How can I trust you now?"
Horus: (Taking a deep breath, standing tall) "Because I am willing to put my life on the line to make things right. I have fought against the traitor legions, reclaimed worlds from Chaos. Let us unite our forces, Roboute. Together, we can stem the tide and bring hope to the galaxy."
Guilliman: (Pausing, his anger slowly giving way to consideration) "If you truly seek redemption, your actions must speak louder than your words. Show me that you are committed to this cause."
Horus: (Nodding, determination in his voice) "I will. I will not squander this chance. Let us fight together for the Imperium, for humanity, and for a future free from the horrors of Chaos."
