Chapter 15: Verbal Sparring and the Appearance of the Fire Python Tiger!

Hearing the harsh sound, Lin Ken, Lin Xiao, and the others frowned.

The smile on Lin Zhentian's face slowly faded.

Lin Tian looked in the direction from which the voice came and saw a group of people approaching.

As they passed by, the crowd in the Beast Horn Field quickly dispersed, showing great fear.

Leading this group were two individuals. One was about the same age as Lin Zhentian, with deep-set eyes and a cold, fierce look. He was Lei Bao, the head of the Lei family.

The other person was a middle-aged man who always had a smile on his face and appeared kind. He was Xie Qian, the head of the Xie family, a well-known "smiling tiger" in Qingyang Town.

Behind Lei Bao and Xie Qian, Lin Tian recognized two familiar faces: Lei Li and Xie Yingying, whom he had met at the trading shop before.

When Lin Tian looked at Lei Li, Lei Li also met his gaze, with a cold light flashing in his eyes!

As Lei Li passed in front of Lin Tian, he moved slightly and said, "Lin Tian, there are many ferocious beasts in the hunt. To prevent you from becoming their food, it would be best to stay close to Wu Yun."

After delivering this veiled threat, Lei Li smiled mockingly at Lin Tian and leisurely turned away.

Although his words seemed to express concern for Lin Tian, they were, in fact, a contemptuous jab at Lin Tian's reliance on Wu Yun from the Raging Blade Dojo.

"This brat is too arrogant!"

The young members of the Lin family, including Lin Xia, were furious when they saw Lei Li's retreating back.

Qingtan's little face also showed signs of annoyance.

However, Lin Tian maintained a calm expression. He reached out to rub Qingtan's head and smiled, saying, "It's just a pile of dead bones in a tomb. There's no need to get upset over it."

"Yeah," Qingtan nodded after hearing this, no longer angry.

[Ding! You touched Lin Qingtan and obtained ten Yin beads!]

At the same time, the familiar sound of the system echoed in Lin Tian's mind.

Lin Tian felt a bit helpless; recently, almost all the awards he received from Qingtan were Yin beads.

During Lin Dong's training, he had also given Lin Dong a portion of them.

Even so, Lin Tian still had many Yin beads in his possession, though he wouldn't need them soon.

There were tens of thousands of stone seats around the Beast Horn Field. While pondering these matters, Lin Tian, along with Lin Zhentian and others, entered the center of the Beast Horn Field and chose some stone seats to sit on.

Among the forces in Qingyang Town, the Lin family ranked fourth, so they were naturally qualified to sit in the central area with the best view.

After the Lei and Xie families, along with the Lin family, settled into their seats, Luo Cheng, the head of the Raging Blade Dojo, arrived with his disciples and sat down not far away from the Lin family.

Although the Lin family didn't get along with the Lei and Xie families, they had a closer relationship with the Raging Blade Dojo due to both being outside forces that were ostracized by the Lei and Xie families.

Once the members of the Raging Blade Dojo arrived, Lin Zhentian engaged in a cordial conversation with Luo Cheng. Among the disciples, Wu Yun approached Lin Tian.

"Brother Lin, it's been a while! Is the cooperation we discussed last time still on?"

Lin Tian smiled and nodded. "Of course it is."

Even though Lin Tian's current strength would allow him to defeat the younger generations of the Lei and Xie families on his own, he recognized the importance of winning over the Raging Blade Dojo until he fully matured.

After Lin Tian and Wu Yun had a brief chat, Luo Cheng suddenly turned his attention to them. "Is he the Lin family's genius disciple, Lin Tian, who defeated Lei Li?"

Lin Tian clasped his fists and replied, "Lin Tian greets the master."

Luo Cheng glanced at Lin Tian for a moment before nodding. "It seems that the Lin family has produced a true genius!"

Hearing Luo Cheng praise Lin Tian, Lin Zhentian couldn't help but stroke his beard, smiling with pride.

With the establishment of the Raging Blade Dojo, several major forces in Qingyang Town had gathered.

As the sun rose high in the sky, Lei Bao stood at the location of the Lei family. He looked around, suppressing the noise in the hunting field, announced the hunting rules to everyone, and then requested that each family issue identity cards to the younger generation participating in the hunt.

"Tian'er, although you are not weak, don't be careless!" Lin Zhentian warned, taking out a black and yellow wooden sign and handing it to Lin Tian solemnly.

"Don't worry, Grandpa," Lin Tian replied as he accepted the wooden sign and tucked it into his robes. He then walked to the edge of the platform and jumped down to the stage.

"Brother Lin Tian, be careful!" Qingtan called out loudly as she watched Lin Tian's back from the high platform.

Lin Tian didn't look back; he simply waved in Qingtan's direction and walked straight into the jungle.

Lin Tian identified the direction he needed to go and headed straight toward the massive mountain platform in the jungle's center.

After all, all contestants in this hunting tournament would eventually converge there.

As long as he walked in this direction, he wouldn't have to worry about not encountering other participants or being unable to collect identity cards.

As more and more contestants ventured deeper into the jungle, the originally peaceful environment began to stir.

From time to time, the roars of beasts echoed in the air.

Some unfortunate souls became meals for the wild beasts.

However, these occurrences did not deter Lin Tian's progress.

He continued forward and soon encountered other contestants, managing to intercept them successfully.

After a pleasant exchange, Lin Tian found himself with an extra identity card in his possession.

As he delved deeper into the jungle, it felt as if he was simply taking a stroll in his courtyard, and he collected quite a few identity cards along the way.

Suddenly, while moving deeper into the jungle, Lin Tian detected a pungent smell of blood nearby and could hear faint footsteps belonging to both wild beasts and humans.

His heart raced slightly at the realization, and he quickly jumped up onto a large tree, concealing himself in the canopy as he looked in the direction from which the sounds originated.

The first thing that caught Lin Tian's eye was a monstrous beast that stood about ten feet tall, with fiery red fur covering its body.

The creature had the head of a tiger that looked extremely fierce and violent, with its tail coiling around its back like a fire python, flicking its tongue!

Is this... a Fire Python Tiger?

Recognizing the beast, Lin Tian quickly came to a conclusion about its identity.

Continuing his observation, Lin Tian noticed over a dozen figures surrounding the Fire Python Tiger, armed with spears.

At the head of these individuals, Lin Tian suddenly recognized two familiar faces.
