"Hinata, are you ready?"

Shinju asked as the 3 of them entered the building with Kurenai following from behind, he looked at Hinata with a smile as he asked since she was gonna be fighting now.

"Shinju-kun, I will not quit"

Hinata nodded as her voice came out as a whisper, but it was much better than before as she could now talk with Shinju for a little while, her anxiety was less since she had friends now.

"Good, and I expect the same from you, Shino. I trained both of you for two months, after all."

With a determined nod, Shino nodded as he too was much stronger than before the training.

It's not like he developed some new ninjutsu or anything, but his speed and strength became much stronger, especially as his clan is not known for their fighting skills.

"I wouldn't worry about them; they have more than enough skill to pass the exams and become Chunin."

Kurenai smiled as she walked above the arena, watching the exam field a few meters below the railing.

Kurenai was very pleased with her team if she had to say so, not only was Shinju a prodigy unlike others, but her 2 other students were also not bad, especially Hinata, who is a small prodigy herself.

"I would not expect anything less from these 2"

With a confident smirk, Shinju replied without any hesitation in his voice, Hinata blushed at the compliment while Shino nodded his head, they agreed with what he said.

The teams went down, and they stood in front of the Hokage, with Kurenai going behind him and standing in a line with the other jonin teachers, like Kakashi, Asuma and Might Gai.

Hiruzen nodded with appreciation as he looked at the Konoha teams in front of him, but he discreetly looked at Shinju, and Gaara as he nodded his head, Shinju smiled as he nodded back.

'Old fool, trusting a shinobi so much, no wonder Danzo does not like you'

Shinju does not have any vendetta against the third Hokage since he never did anything to him personally, but he can't help but agree that he is kind of a fool.

Even if Shinju has the potential to be the next Hokage, he is a shinobi in the end, and no shinobi is truly loyal to their Hokage, willing to risk their life for him.

But that's not the point.

"Listen, everyone, I am afraid that too many people passed the second Chunin exams."

Jiruzen said as he drew the attention of everyone.

"To ensure that the exams proceed as intended, we have created a preliminary exam just before the final exam."

"The preliminaries? What is that?"

Naruto asked, and Sakura sighed as she shook her head at his stupidity, Hiruzen smiled as he explained.

"This is to cut off some people for the next exam, you will be taking part in a one-on-one fight, and the winner goes to the finals"

Sakura put her hand into the air with worry on her face, she was gonna tell the Hokage that Sasuke had a curse mark placed on him by Orochimaru.

But before she can do it, Sasuke took her arm before she raised it fully, and sent a glare at her.

"Mind your own business"

Shinju looked at Sakura, and he noticed that she was not hurt by those words, he started sweating as some things came to his mind.

'She must be a masochist...'

There is no way Sakura is not a masochist with the number of times Sasuke tried to kill her, only for them to create a child together... That is some masochist behaviour.

"The proctor of the third exam will be Hayate Gekko, and he did reserve the right to step in if there was a clear winner"

Hayate Gekko stepped forward and he smirked as he looked at the genins in front of him.

"That's me"

He said as he pointed at himself.

"Alright everyone, please get ready for your matches. The participants will be called to the arena shortly."

Hiruzen said as he waved his hand, Shinju's team jumped onto the railing on the side of the buildings, and Kurenai followed after them, with Kakashi and Asuma following, and Naturally, Gai following Kakashi.

"NICE TO MEET YOU! YOU MUST BE THE ONE THAT TEN TEN TALKED ABOUT!!!"

Shinju felt like jumping in fright as Gai suddenly seemingly teleported in front of his face, behind him a concerned Ten Ten, an excited Lee and an arrogant Neji followed him.

"Uh?.... Nice to meet you too"

Shinju just shrugged his shoulders and he returned a smile as he shook hands with Might Gai.

Might Gai, who shook hands with Shinju, instantly noticed that his hands were well-trained. It felt like the kid had trained even more than he had, and that is saying a lot.

"Hmmm... I see, so you are not just a genius like no other, you are a hardworking genius!"

With a surprised exclamation, Gai separated his hands as he instead looked at Shinju with a thought, scratching his chin.

"Tell me... How would you like to learn a technique from me?"

Lee, Ten Ten and Neji looked at Might Gai in surprise, and Lee was even slightly jealous, but before they could question him, might Gai explained.

"Your body is nothing as I have ever seen, it is built specifically for a sudden increase in strength"

Shinju stared at Might Gai in surprise, he did not think Might Gai would be able to see this from just looking at his body, but it's not like Gai was wrong.

His body enhancement technique is not a "technique"; it's more of an ability inherent to his clan, allowing each member to perform it almost instinctively.

That means their bodies are naturally designed to enhance strength with Body Enhancement almost instantly, providing their muscles with an extraordinary stretching ability and durability far beyond the normal.

Even without enhancing his body, Shinju would have higher strength and durability, compared to someone like Gai, who has a normal body it is just trained to be so strong.

"Well I guess I wouldn't mind, how does it sound after the exam is finished?"

Shinju asked, he wasn't really interested in the eight Gates since they could only be used by using the life force, something he is not keen on.

But the first 3 gates are good for him, the first gate would allow him to use 100% of his body power, without the limits naturally set on it by his brain.
