What if Naruto was Trained by Sosuke Aizen

Chapter 40: Chapter 40

The Hokage's Office

The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, leaned back in his chair, his gaze fixed on the crystal ball in front of him. The image of Naruto training in the secluded forest flickered across its surface. The boy's movements were precise, his Reiatsu flaring with each strike as he practiced his Kido techniques. Hiruzen's expression was a mix of pride and concern.

"Naruto's Bloodline Limit has developed remarkably well," Hiruzen murmured, his voice tinged with both admiration and unease. "The potential he's shown is extraordinary."

Across the room, Danzo Shimura stood with his arms crossed, his single visible eye narrowing as he observed the scene. "Hiruzen, you should hand Naruto over to Root. His Bloodline Limit is too valuable to leave untapped. With proper training, we could replicate it, create an entire unit of shinobi with his abilities. Imagine the power Konoha would wield."

Hiruzen's jaw tightened, his grip on his pipe firm. "Naruto is Minato's son. He's not a tool to be exploited."

Danzo scoffed, his tone dripping with disdain. "Minato's son or not, you've already failed him. The boy grew up despised by the very village his father died to protect. If you had handled things differently, perhaps he would have embraced the Will of Fire by now."

The mention of Minato struck a nerve. Hiruzen's eyes flashed with anger as he turned to face Danzo. "This is your doing, Danzo. If you hadn't spread those rumors, Naruto wouldn't have grown up under such malice. My plan was to give him a normal childhood, to let him grow up loved and respected. But you—you ruined everything."

Danzo's expression remained impassive, though a flicker of irritation crossed his features. "You didn't stop me, Hiruzen. You allowed it to happen. Don't blame me for your own failures."

The room fell into a tense silence, the weight of their shared guilt hanging heavily in the air. Hiruzen took a long drag from his pipe, exhaling a cloud of smoke as he tried to calm his frayed nerves. "Enough," he said finally, his voice weary. "What's done is done. We can't change the past."

Danzo's lips curled into a thin smile. "No, we can't. But we can ensure the future. Everything is in place. The Uchiha won't know what hit them."

Hiruzen's gaze drifted to the window, where the streets of Konoha bustled with activity. Shinobi moved through the shadows, their presence more pronounced than usual. The Hokage's eyes softened with regret as he murmured, "We've come this far."

"Don't let your sentimentality cloud your judgment, Hiruzen," Danzo said, his voice cold and unyielding. "The Uchiha have chosen their path. They've become a threat to the village. What we're doing is necessary to protect Konoha."

Hiruzen sighed, his shoulders slumping under the weight of his responsibilities. "This is the village the First and Second Hokage built. We must protect it, no matter the cost."

Danzo's expression hardened, his resolve unwavering. "Then it's settled. The operation will proceed as planned."

The two men stood in silence, their eyes fixed on the village they had sworn to protect. Beneath the surface, however, their thoughts were anything but united. Hiruzen's heart ached with the burden of his decisions, while Danzo's mind raced with plans for the future.

Naruto's Home

Naruto lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling as the events of the past year played through his mind. It had been a year of growth, of forging bonds, and of uncovering the truth about his heritage. The weight of his training and the secrets he carried were a constant presence, but he had learned to navigate the complexities of his life with a calm determination.

The Kyuubi and Minato, once bitter enemies, had become unlikely roommates within the sealed space of his mind. Their dynamic was a strange one—Kyuubi, the internet-addicted fox, spent hours playing video games and shouting at the screen, much to Minato's annoyance. The Fourth Hokage, ever the patient father, had tried to reason with the beast, but their interactions often devolved into bickering.

Rock Lee's growth had been remarkable. Under Naruto's guidance, the once-naive boy had developed a sharper mind and a stronger sense of purpose. Lee's unwavering loyalty to Naruto was both touching and amusing, and his declaration of "I don't need a brain as long as I have Naruto" had become a running joke between them.

Sasuke, too, had changed. Though still arrogant and competitive, he had come to respect Naruto in his own way. Their daily training sessions had forged a bond of mutual respect, even if Sasuke's obsession with his older brother, Itachi, remained unchanged.

Haruno Sakura and Ino Yamanaka continued to vie for Sasuke's attention, though their interactions with Naruto had grown more genuine over time. Sakura's polite demeanor and Ino's free-spirited nature made them pleasant companions, even if their feelings for Sasuke occasionally led to drama.

But it was Hinata's transformation that had surprised Naruto the most. The shy, timid girl he had once known had blossomed into a confident and compassionate leader. Her actions outside of school—standing up to bullies and protecting the weak—had earned her the admiration of many. Naruto couldn't help but feel proud of her.

A Memory: Hinata's Change

Naruto recalled the day he had first witnessed Hinata's transformation. He had been walking through the village, lost in thought, when he heard the familiar sound of children taunting and jeering. Following the noise, he found a group of bullies tormenting a younger girl.

Before Naruto could intervene, a figure stepped forward—Hinata. Her Byakugan activated, she delivered a single, powerful punch to the wall beside the bullies, leaving a deep crater in its surface. The bullies froze, their bravado evaporating in an instant.

"If I see you bullying others again," Hinata said, her voice calm but firm, "this punch will be aimed at your heads."

The bullies fled, leaving the younger girl unharmed. Hinata turned to her, her expression softening as she gently patted the girl's head. "Are you okay?"

The girl looked up at Hinata with stars in her eyes. "You're so cool, big sister! Will you join our club? You can be our leader!"

Hinata chuckled, her smile warm and genuine. "I'm glad you're okay."

Naruto had watched from the shadows, a smile tugging at his lips. "So, the doormat has changed," he had thought to himself. "Good for her."

The Present

Naruto sat up, his thoughts returning to the present. The past year had been a whirlwind of growth and discovery, but he knew his journey was far from over. The village's shadows loomed large, and the secrets he had uncovered only deepened his resolve.

"Everyone's life is constantly changing," Naruto murmured to himself. "Only by moving forward can we adapt to the world."

But in his heart, he added, "And I will rise above it all."

Epilogue: The Road Ahead

As Naruto prepared for bed, his mind was already racing with plans for the future. The bonds he had forged, the skills he had honed, and the truths he had uncovered were all pieces of a larger puzzle. He knew the road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but he was ready.

With the Kyuubi and Minato by his side, and the support of his friends, Naruto felt a sense of purpose he had never known before. He would protect those he cared about, uncover the secrets of his past, and carve out a future where he could stand tall—not as a pawn, but as a force to be reckoned with.

And when the time came, Naruto Uzumaki would stand in the sky, a beacon of hope and power for all to see.
