When Dragon Balls Descend Upon Marvel

Chapter 47: Chapter 47: The Mighty GOD!

John Wick reacted quickly, using the German Shepherd's body to shield his face and vital areas.

"BOOM!"

The blast forced him back a step. His bulletproof suit absorbed the brunt of the pellets, and he hurled the now-ravaged corpse of the dog toward the attacker.

The Hunter, faced with his beloved dog's body, couldn't bring himself to shoot. He dodged instead.

In that moment, John lunged forward, grabbing the barrel of the shotgun with his right hand and pulling the trigger of his pistol with his left.

The Hunter, overwhelmed with grief, still reacted quickly. The bullet struck his body armor, and he fired the shotgun toward John's feet.

"BOOM!"

The shot narrowly missed.

John redirected the barrel upward, then drove an elbow into the Hunter's chin, following up with a shot to the shoulder.

In pain, the Hunter dropped his weapon, which John snatched up.

John reloaded and fired point-blank into the Hunter's face.

"BOOM!"

"ARGH!"

The Hunter fell. John fired two more rounds into his head to confirm the kill, dropped the shotgun beside the corpse, and left.

He traveled straight to Hong Kong, China, through Assassin Alliance channels in Osaka.

New York

As night fell, massive forces from the High Table, Killer Zero and his disciples, and a number of highly paid assassins gathered outside the Assassin Alliance's castle.

One High Table envoy aimed an RPG at the castle gate.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

Three rockets struck—shattering the Textile Factory gate and damaging the walls, but not collapsing them.

"Charge! Kill them all!"

The attackers stormed through the broken gate toward the main building.

Suddenly, gunfire erupted.

From the castle walls, hidden forces rained bullets down upon them.

"RATATATATA!"

A deadly barrage cut down unarmored assassins immediately, bullets punching through skulls.

Killer Zero and his disciples, famed for their melee prowess, were wiped out in the first wave.

Fully armored High Table operatives retaliated, shooting at the walls and hurling grenades.

"RATATATA!"

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

Gunfire echoed across the courtyard.

Suddenly, the castle doors and windows flew open—assault rifles and specialized weapons poured forth.

"RATATATATATATATA!!!"

A torrent of bullets created a storm of steel, instantly annihilating the unprotected.

Mr. X, Cross, Wesley, and others picked off heavily armed targets with precision. Enemies that troubled others were no match for them.

At the castle's highest tower, Smith Doyle watched calmly.

The High Table's envoys were persistent. Despite heavy losses, they didn't break formation. Instead, they tightened their circle, inching closer and throwing grenades.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

Smith used a Scouter to check their power levels. Seeing no notable threats and confirming no reinforcements, he decided to intervene.

Though the Alliance could win on its own, the casualties would be high—and Smith didn't want to lose his people.

He leapt from the tower, descending into the enemy circle.

It was night. The enemy never expected someone to fall from above.

Smith landed and instantly grabbed one envoy, tossing him skyward.

"AHHH—"

"SMASH!"

The envoy hit the ground hard.

Others turned to fire, but Smith was faster. One kick sent a man flying, knocking over several others.

Then he unleashed his assault:

"Rōgafūfūken! (Wolf Fang Fist!)"

His attacks accelerated—armored helmets shattered under his blows.

Even heavily armed foes couldn't survive two punches.

On the perimeter, Mr. X and Cross continued cleaning up, swiftly reducing the enemy's numbers.

Bullets that occasionally struck Smith simply bounced off his body.

One High Table envoy, realizing they couldn't harm him, pulled all his grenades and charged.

"We die together!"

But Smith had already seen him. He grabbed the man and hurled him far from the battlefield.

"NO—"

"BOOM!"

Multiple grenades exploded mid-air. The envoy died instantly.

Watching their desperation, Smith couldn't help but admire the High Table's control over their operatives. Still, he accelerated his assault.

Soon, every attacker lay dead.

Smith gave the order:

"Get the cleaners. Burn all the bodies in the incinerator."

Mr. X approached and smiled:

"GOD, you've surprised us all. Entrusting you with the Alliance was the right decision."

Indeed, many in the Alliance had never witnessed Smith's full power—but now everyone present saw it clearly.

Their leader, Smith Doyle, truly lived up to the name:

GOD.
