Why must the devil be Defeated?

Chapter 716: 653 "Cadre

Imperial City, outskirts.

In the blink of an eye, this place had gathered more and more members of the Demon Clan, filling the sky with a magic power that seemed to shake the heavens, dark clouds obscuring the sun.

It was as if a black fog swirled around here; members of the Demon Clan were enveloped in it, releasing all their aura toward the direction of the Imperial City.

"Hand over the Hero!"

"Hand over the Hero!"

"Hand over the Hero!"

Such shouting had already resounded through the heavens, like the attack horn of an alien army, thundering like roaring thunder.

The whole Imperial City was like this, shrouded in black fog, surrounded by the Demon Clan's army, their magic power earth-shaking, making it seem as fragile as a lone city that had fallen into the midst of a horde.

Behind such a vast army of the Demon Clan, several figures were continuously observing everything.

They were beings whose magic power and aura surpassed every Demon Clan member present, with their bizarre and myriad forms.

Some appeared in beastly forms, some had limbs not seen on members of the Human Race, some were covered in vines, and some even had three heads and six arms, daunting to behold.

Among them, there was a fierce beast, standing upright, constantly baring its teeth, looking extremely impatient.

After a while, this upright, ferocious beast seemed unable to bear it any longer.

"I'm saying, how much longer do we have to stand around like fools?" the beastly Demon growled impatiently, "We've already warned them like this for several days, yet the people of this trash country still haven't handed over the Hero. Clearly, they don't plan on cooperating, right?"

Clearly, the beastly Demon had no intention of waiting any longer.

Echoing this beastly demon was the Demon with three heads and six arms.

"Ireza is right," the three-headed, six-armed Demon said, licking its lips impatiently, "It's about time we launch an attack, storm in there, commence a slaughter, and show them that we mean business, right?"

The bloodthirsty words from the three-headed, six-armed Demon were not commendable.

However, someone stopped them.

"Don't blame me for not warning you, if you really do that, the Divine Race and the Human Race definitely won't let it go," said a Demon woman dressed provocatively, with a voluptuous figure, resembling a courtesan.

This Demon woman simply stood there, her alluring, voluptuous figure emitting a dangerous charm that made one involuntarily secrete excessive hormones, clearly the type of woman that could drive men insane.

She glanced at the beastly Demon and the three-headed, six-armed Demon, speaking with an enchanting voice.

"Don't forget, we came to the Human Realm on our own; our masters might not allow us to do this. If we really stir up big trouble, then Ireza, Qibul, you'll definitely be slaughtered by Lady Lide and Lady Milu, especially you, Qibul. You serve Lady Milu; you should know the consequences of displeasing her."

The enchanting Demon's words made the three-headed, six-armed Demon named Qibul freeze, fear evident in his eyes.

Even the beastly Demon called Ireza couldn't help but shudder.

However, the impatience in his heart did not let Ireza back down.

"So what do you suggest we do?" Ireza shouted at the enchanting Demon, "Are we supposed to just foolishly wait? I don't have that much patience!"

"I know," the enchanting Demon sighed with a pitying tone, "That's why I don't like Demon Race men, all of you just know how to bulk up your muscles and have worse tempers than anyone."

"What did you say!?" Ireza suddenly became furious.

Just as the beastly Demon was about to do something, beside them, a Demon male appeared, whose upper body was humanoid with horns on his head and the lower body of an upright goat, holding a great sword, resembling a demon.

"Alright, stop provoking Ireza, Glen," the goat-horned Demon said solemnly. "You know full well that once he gets angry, he can do anything, even Lady Lide has had to punish him plenty, yet he is still like this, why do you still provoke him?"

"Can't help it, I'm just bored," Glen said with a bored expression. "There aren't any men worth playing with here, so why not tease this big oaf? Are you bothered by it, Alder?"

"Bothered?" Alder shook his head and spoke, "I just don't want to come here and see you all fighting amongst yourselves."

"Okay, I forgot, you're a boring man too," Glen sighed again, and as if something amusing occurred to him, his lips curved up as he looked to the side, saying, "But you're more entertaining, Jiasinta, won't you come and join us for a chat?"

Glen's gaze was directed toward a man standing there, as beautiful as a young Human.

Behind the beautiful man was a pair of twin demons, trembling as if terrified.

The twin demons were Jesse and Lis.

And this handsome member of the Demon Clan was none other than Jiasinta.

Jiasinta had appeared here, viewing his demon colleagues, who seemingly harbored internal conflicts, as he casually broke the silence.

"Do not drag me into this; I'm merely here to ensure you do not lose control, not to engage in your folly."

That was the situation.

For this journey, Jiasinta's appearance had one purpose: to prevent his colleagues from going too far.

His presence was not unnecessary.

These demons before him were by no means ordinary creatures.

Like Jiasinta, they all belonged to a specific demon and were directly serving their master as officers in the Demon Clan.

Ireza was one of the Six Great Officers under the command of Beast Demon Lide Domar, Level 95, fiery-tempered and impulsive, a typical example of strong limbs and a simple mind.

Qibul was one of the Seven Great Officers under Ghost Demon Milupesh, Level 93, extremely bloodthirsty and cruel, known as one of the most dangerous individuals among all the demon officers.

Glen was one of the Eight Great Officers under the Enchanting Demon Xiefuni, Level 92, who enjoyed manipulating men, trapping accomplished males in a clap of his hands.

Alder was one of the Ten Great Officers under Poison Demon Camina, Level 91. Although he was not as distinctively characterized as the prior three, he harbored a subtle darkness and was a descendant of one of the most fearsome demon sub-types.

Including Jiasinta, one of the Four Great Officers under Dragon Demon Ai Yi, all the demons present, except for Jesse and Lis, were officers belonging directly to a demon.

This meant that, in the Demon Clan, apart from the Six Great Demons, the highest status belonged to these officers.

At this moment, officers directly under the Six Great Demons had all gathered here.

Moreover, those who had come were generally among the more radical factions within the demon officers, hard to persuade otherwise.

Therefore, upon receiving the news, Jiasinta had swiftly made his way here.

His goal was to restrain his colleagues, to prevent them from burning bridges with the Human Race, which would bring immense troubles for the Demon Clan.

"Neither the Divine Race nor the Human Race wish to see the Demon Clan starting a war; likewise, many in our clan desire to maintain this peace."

Jiasinta's gaze swept across the four demon officers as he issued this warning.

"Our duty as direct officers under our masters is to alleviate their worries, not to create troubles for them."

Jiasinta had repeated this statement many times.

Yet Glen responded with a mischievous laugh.

"Aren't we here to relieve our masters' worries?" said Glen with a sly smile, "Every demon knows how dangerous a hero can be, and the risks they carry. By eliminating him, I believe our masters would be pleased, wouldn't they?"

"Exactly," agreed Alder. "The hero is a threat to the Demon Clan. There's no doubt about that. We need to eliminate him before he grows stronger."

"I don't really care," Qibul grinned broadly, restraining his ferocity, "I just want to taste what the hero's blood is like."

"I'd advise you best not to stop us, Jiasinta," Ireza even snorted coldly, his expression hostile. "This could very well be a conspiracy by the Divine Race. They advocate peace outwardly, but secretly they restart the hero summoning ceremony, bringing the hero back into this world. I will definitely not let those women succeed."

These unfriendly remarks left Jiasinta inwardly sighing.

How could he not understand what these fellows were really up to?

These peers of his, who had rushed to the Human Realm targeting the hero, indeed had their reasons.

"Do you really think I don't know what you're thinking?"

Jiasinta began to unapologetically expose them.

"Glen, you want to eliminate the hero not because he's dangerous, but because you once tried to seduce a hero and failed. Now, you want to save face with this current hero, right?"

"Alder, it's the same for you. A thousand years ago, you were severely damaged by the hero's Holy Sword, and your level dropped significantly. Even now, the power of the Holy Sword still troubles you, so you came here, hoping to use the hero's Holy Sword as a catalyst to transfer the Holy Power from your body into the current hero with your Unique Skill, right?"

"Qibul, do you really want the hero's blood just because your ferocity has flared, or is it because you want to use this opportunity to perform your Blood Sacrifice Ceremony and steal some of the hero's power?"

"And Ireza, there's no need to say more about you. Your brother was killed by a hero, hence you wish to exact revenge on the current hero. But that is merely misdirected anger, isn't it?"

Jiasinta's words caused the faces of the demon officers present to darken.

Their expressions instantly became extremely unsightly.
