After returning to the same place as before, Lin Fan found that the young girl was now following them.

Seeing the way that Lin Fan looked at her, the young girl said with a slight bow of the head, "I'm observing on behalf of the city lord. I hope that you will not mind."

Lin Fan just gave a simple nod in response.

He knew that he was already asking a lot of the city lord to be doing this in the city, so it was only reasonable that the city lord would send someone to watch. The city lord wasn't just thinking about himself, he was also thinking about the people of the city.

That was why Lin Fan also felt another presence following them.

The young girl didn't say anything, there were presences that appeared around them that were hidden in the dark.

Lin Fan knew that they weren't hostile since he could tell that they were following the movements of the young girl.

It was as if she was the one that was commanding them.

Lin Fan knew that they must be the secret guards that the city lord sent just in case something went wrong.

The one thing that he was surprised by was how it seemed like the young girl was the one that commanded them. It really made him curious just what the identity of the young girl was.

But that wasn't the important thing right now.

Once they were back, they went into the streets and started heading in a direction that Lin Fan was leading them.

Only he didn't tell them where they were heading.

Though based on the direction, Huang Xie and the young girl knew exactly where he was heading. There was only one thing in that direction, so there was only one place that he could be going.

It was the Huang Family's manor.

This was the main base of the Huang Family, the place where their power was gathered.

This should be the last place that they headed to right now since they just weren't prepared for this yet.

There were all kinds of things that could happen if they charged in now.

The worst thing was if any of the Huang Family were to escape.

Leaving a member of the Huang Family behind to take revenge was not a good thing…

Huang Xie saw that Lin Fan wasn't slowing down, so he couldn't help asking, "Master, what are you doing? Shouldn't we get more information on the Huang Family first?"

"No need. You'll be charging in." Lin Fan said in a casual voice.

But there was nothing casual about Huang Xie's response, "What did you say?"

There was only shock and disbelief in Huang Xie's voice.

He didn't believe that Lin Fan wouldn't be able to see the danger of this plan, so he just couldn't understand why his master was telling him to go in like this. It just didn't make any sense at all, he couldn't figure out what Lin Fan was thinking at all.

Lin Fan still didn't stop as he continued heading towards the Huang Family manor, but he added, "I have a plan, so don't worry."

Huang Xie hesitated for a second when he heard this, but he eventually gave a nod in response.

Lin Fan just tossed a cloak to him before saying, "Put that on before going in."

Once again, Huang Xie gave a simple nod in response.

Only, the young girl couldn't be as calm as the two of them.

All she could think to herself was…

"What are these crazy people thinking?"

"Who is that?" One of the guards of the Huang Family member asked while pointing at the cloaked figure that was approaching them.

The other guards were also looking at this cloaked figure with narrowed eyes, but it seemed like none of them could figure out who this person was.

But that didn't matter since this cloaked figure seemed to be approaching the Huang Family manor and didn't seem like they were about to stop.

In that case…

"Stop! This is private property."

"Turn around now or we'll have to use force."

The guards put their hands on their weapons as if they were threatening to attack if this cloaked person didn't stop.

However, even with these threats, it didn't seem like the cloaked person even reacted. That cloaked person continued walking towards the gate of the Huang Family manor as if nothing had happened.

The guards couldn't help knitting their brows when they saw this, but they knew what they had to do.

The only thing that they felt strange about was how they couldn't sense a single thing from this person.

It seemed like this person wasn't anything special, but they could tell that there was something off about this person.

The guards were just hoping that their instincts were wrong about this.

Since that cloaked figure didn't stop, they had no choice but to draw their weapons and prepare to attack this person in the end. Only the moment that they swung their weapons down, there was a strange sound that rang out.

"Clang!"

Even though they had hit this person, the sound that rang out was as if metallic things were clashing.

Though their weapons were made of metal, this was a person that was made of flesh and blood. It didn't seem like it was possible that he would make the sound that hitting metal would.

Not to mention that they were certain that it wasn't his cloak or any armour that he was wearing since this cloaked figure had brought his arms out to stop the weapons that hey swung at him.

He was using his bare arms to stop these attacks.

"What are you?" One of the guards asked in a shocked voice.

"An intruder." The cloaked figure suddenly said to the further shock of the guards, but they just weren't able to react at all to his next moves.

Before they could realize what was happening, they found that their views had turned upside down.

After a few seconds, they realized that it wasn't the world that had turned upside down, it was just that they had been flipped. They didn't know how it happened, but their bodies had been sent flying into the air and now they were falling to the ground.

The only thing that they could do was grab their heads and try to protect themselves, but it was as if there was something that pressed them down harder into the ground. Almost as if there was some kind of pressure that suddenly fell onto them.

When it was over, the guards that charged forward had all been knocked out.

There were only a few guards that were standing at the gate that had shocked looks on their faces. It was clear that none of them understood what happened just now.

After all, they didn't see the cloaked figure do anything.

The only thing that they actually saw was a flash of green light before the guards suddenly started flying into the air.

They didn't know just what the cloaked figure did, but they knew that he did something.

That made them scared to try and stop him.

It was just that they really didn't have a choice.

After all of the guards around him had been knocked out, the cloaked figure suddenly charged at the gate.

The guards that were standing in front of the gate had no choice since this was what they were here to do. They were more afraid of being punished by the Huang Family than they were of this cloaked figure, so that was why they still raised their weapons to attack him.

Unfortunately, they really weren't able to do anything to the cloaked figure in front of them.

The only thing that happened was that the cloaked figure used his arms to stop their weapons before they were thrown into the air as well. They were tossed in many different directions since they attacked him at the same time, from different angles.

After clearing out all of the guards, the cloaked figure stopped in front of the gate of the Huang Family manor.

Instead of continuing forward like he did, he looked at the gate as if there was something that was on his mind.

"It seems like I'm back here again." Huang Xie said to himself as he stood there in front of the gate.

There was a complicated tone to his voice as he said this, but he didn't get to remain in that state for long as there was a commotion that came from in front of him that pulled him out of his thoughts.

It was more guards that had suddenly run out after seeing what happened at the gate.

They were all charging at him together, though Huang Xie could see that they were afraid.

After all, these guards weren't stronger than the ones that he had already taken care of.

With a sigh, Huang Xie shook his head to clear his mind before raising his fist and then punching out in front of him.

The wooden gate in front of him shattered to pieces, but it shattered in a strange way.

It shattered in large pieces that were sent flying at the guards that were running at him.

They had to quickly dodge out of the way, but there were some of them that couldn't dodge out of the way in time and were hit by these large pieces of wood.

They were the lucky ones since they were knocked out like this.

The rest of them weren't as lucky as Huang Xie charged at them.
