Chapter 98: CH: 98 Rescuing Angela
[Chapter: 98 Rescuing Angela]
"Are you scared?" William asked Terry.
Terry shook her head. "No. I'm not scared as long as I'm with you."
William put Terry down. "Stand behind me. I'm going to kill these things," William said with a smile while patting her on her head.
Terry's face turned red, and she was both happy and shy.
William then walked towards the child zombies. "Well, I'm sorry, but it's time for you to rest."
"William, be careful," Terry called.
"Rest assured." William held the head of a rushing child zombie and twisted it, breaking its neck.
"Ah, ah."
William put his hands and feet together in order to reduce unnecessary movements, directly attacking the heads and necks of the zombies.
In just ten seconds, all the child zombies fell to the ground.
"That was terrific," Terry said. She couldn't see how William attacked. She only saw the zombies fall to the ground one by one.
The light shone over, and Terry looked at it. She saw it was Jill.
"What happened here?" Jill came over and asked.
Terry swallowed. "Look!"
Jill looked over and saw the ground was littered with child zombies. Where William was standing, she asked, "Did you kill them all?"
"That is obvious, isn't it?" William said with a smile.
"Forget it. Let's hurry up and find Angela," Jill said.
"There is no need to look for her; she is here. I can feel it." William walked to a corner and moved aside some chairs.
A girl was curled up, looking at William. "You're the one my dad sent to save me, right?"
"Of course. Come on so we can leave here." William pulled the girl up.
"You're Angela?" Jill asked.
"Yes, but my friends call me Angie," Angela said.
"Angie? I like the name," Jill said with a smile.
"Let's go and leave this place," Terry said. She didn't want to stay here even a minute longer.
"Let's go," William said, walking forward.
The four pushed the door open, and some of the teachers were wandering nearby.
"They are here," Angela said.
"It doesn't matter. They are slow, and we can rush through," Jill said.
Angela shook her head. "I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about them." Angela pointed at a dog on the ground—a zombie dog.
The zombie dog saw William, growled, and walked slowly towards them.
"Back up." Jill aimed her gun at the dog.
"Woo," the zombie dog jumped up and pounced on William, but—
Bang! Bang!
There was the sound of gunfire, and then they saw the zombie dog fall from the air to the ground, dead.
Jill looked over and saw an armed man with a machine gun in his hand.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The armed man continued firing his machine gun, killing several teacher zombies. He walked in front of William and the rest. "I think you may need some help."
Jill looked at the costume the man was wearing. "You work for the Umbrella Corporation?"
"I used to, but they left me here to die, so I think I'm a freelancer now. Sergeant Nicholas, at your service." Nicholas laughed.
"Aaah!" Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a zombie dog appeared and fell on Nicholas.
"Hurry up." Angela ran outside.
Nicholas was lying on the ground, struggling vigorously. "Go after that girl. I'll deal with this bastard."
"Good luck," William said, taking Terry's hand and running quickly.
"William," Jill chased after them helplessly.
Nicholas held the dog's head firmly with both hands. When the sound of teeth gnashing came from another side, Nicholas looked over and saw another zombie dog approaching.
"Chi!" Nicholas only had time to say one word before being bitten directly. "Aaaaaah!"
Jill shook her head when she heard the scream and looked at William. "You could have saved him."
"He asked us to go first. He was so confident that I thought he would be able to get out safely," William said with an innocent face.
Jill took a deep breath. "Forget it."
The four walked into a kitchen and passed through it to the lobby.
Then a "roar" came, and two zombie dogs chased after them.
"Get out! Leave this to me," William said to them immediately.
"William," Terry said in a worried tone.
"Rest assured, they're just two dogs. Go on." William said with a smile.
Jill pulled Angela and Terry quickly toward the front.
William ran a quick circle in the kitchen, turning on all the gas. "Well, I haven't seen an explosion for a long time. I guess this will do."
"Hou!" The zombie dog flew toward William, but he smashed it with a punch.
William took out his gun and walked toward the front. Then he shot back without looking, accurately hitting the gas tank.
Boom!
The flames instantly filled the kitchen and exploded violently.
"William!" Terry shouted.
"This…" Jill clenched her fists.
"I seem to be a little late," a voice called over.
