Chapter 5: 5
** Zombo Stars - Chapter 5: The Brothers' Conflict **
In the heart of the hypnotist chaos that Higuel had summoned, the energies of the apocalypse clustered, about to untie the world of Zerk. The black clouds covered the sky and a deep tremor reverberated through the earth, threatening to consume everything in its way. It was a critical moment, and the destruction was about to be triggered when suddenly a golden light burst into the depths of darkness.
Higuel, with his hands raised, was about to release the devastating force he had planned, when he suddenly felt a familiar presence. The stunning glow involved the space and, in front of him, came his brother Hugel, the Angel of Luz.
- Higuel! Hugel's voice echoed with a divine intensity, interrupting the immense flow of power that was about to materialize. - Stop! You can't do that!
Higuel turned, his eyes sparkling with the turbulence of conflicting emotions.
- My brother… You don't understand! This world has been lost, left the light behind. The only way out is a new beginning, a total purification!
Hugel passed forward, his gleaming light enlightening the darkness that accumulated around Higuel. He walked with grace and power, love pulsating in every step.
- Check your heart, Higuel! Exclaimed Hugel, the sadness filling his gaze. - Zerk still has salvation! Races can redeem themselves. They can learn from their mistakes! You cannot condemn them to an end without opportunities for change.
Higuel answered, his voice loaded with pain.
- I tried! Love is not enough. The words did not reach their hardened hearts. They chose the darkness, and now they must pay the price!
Hugel shook his head, the determination reflected in his expression.
- We can't give up. You are the Creator, and with this power comes the responsibility of guiding and teaching, not just punishing. If you destroy Zerk, you will also be destroying the hope of redemption.
Higuel's emotions boiled. He felt the pressure of the decision, the charge of being a creator. Anger mingled with sadness, eagerly competing for his control.
- And the more time should we wait? Wars, impurity… All this continues to consume the world! Each day that I see this erodes me inside.
Hugel remained firm.
"So instead of punishing them, offer them a second chance." Use your power not only to destroy, but to teach and restore. You have the power to bring peace and love again. The transformation starts within you!
Hugel's words echoed amid Higuel's heart, each syllable resonating deeply. The best of his feelings, the basis of his creation, pulsed inside as he pondered the lessons he had embraced during the moments of light in his own life.
"You ... You care about them so deeply," I muttered Higuel, your determination weakening.
"Because I also care about you, brother." And I want you to see that love is stronger than pain. Even in the face of our most terrible mistakes, the ability to love and be loved can prevail.
Higuel took a deep breath, full of internal tension. Looking at the horizon, he saw flashes of what could be: a restored world, where light mingled harmoniously with darkness, where balance could exist.
"I don't want to be responsible for the destruction of what I created," Higuel confessed, tears of conflict dripping down his face.
Hugel advanced and put his hand on his brother's shoulder, illuminating him with a comforting and warm light.
- So it's not! Fight. Use your strength to transform, not to finish. Life still has many chapters to come in Zerk. Allow love to triumph at this moment of darkness.
The strength of empathy and fraternal connection began to warm Higuel's heart, and even in the midst of the storm, he began to feel a thread of hope by turning away from the dark path he had planned. Tumultuated emotions finally began to heal.
- I… I'll try. Higuel said, his voice decided but still swinging between the light and the darkness.
Hearing his words, Hugel smiled, his bright light illuminating the darkness around.
- Let's go together, my brother. Love can still prevail.
And so Higuel lowered his hands, sealing his decision in a moment of sacred understanding. Armageddon was interrupted, and the chance of redemption came once again in the world of Zerk, thanks to the call of a brother who never abandoned hope. Both angels contemplated the horizon, ready to make creation a faster and more pure place, where, even after the darkness, the light could be reborn.
