Yu-Gi-Oh!: Transformed into a Girl, Starting with Trickstar

Chapter 36: TST [36]

On the weekend, Morgan arrived at the entrance of the Duel Amusement Park.

Since it was a casual outing, she'd taken off her school uniform and changed into regular clothes.

She wore a white blouse under a bright yellow fleece jacket, a pleated skirt, knee-high socks, and leather shoes. Her ponytail was also let down, becoming shoulder-length hair that framed her face in a lively and bright look.

Of course, Morgan hadn't styled herself—Belle had helped her put the outfit together. Originally, Morgan had planned to come in a tracksuit, but Belle had stopped her in utter disbelief.

Girls really do have it rough going out.

She also now understood why the other two were half an hour late—they must've spent all that time getting ready.

Just then, two luxury cars pulled up in front of her at the same time.

A moment later, both car doors opened simultaneously, and the two girls stepped out in unison:

"Morgan, how are you already here?!"

Their words overlapped in surprise as they looked at each other, then quickly realized what had happened.

They had both come up with the same plan—to pick up Morgan early from her house.

But that plan failed because Morgan had left even earlier.

Clunk—

The two shut their doors at the same time and forced cheerful, innocent smiles.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Let's head in."

Morgan held her phone limply and looked at them in disgust.

They had clearly gone all-out for today.

Jade wore a pristine white dress, her hair tied simply, with a round cap perched on top. She looked like the sweet girl-next-door.

Isla had on tight jeans and a white shirt, showing off her flawless figure.

The moment they stepped out of the car, they drew everyone's attention.

"Wow! Those two girls are gorgeous! They must be from some rich family!"

"One of you go hit on them at least! Get their contacts!"

"Yeah, right. Didn't you see the bodyguards following them?"

"I think the girl in the middle is pretty cute, too. I feel an overwhelming urge to confess to her!"

In an instant, the three of them became the subject of gossip.

Jade and Isla didn't seem to care, but Morgan felt like all those stares were like needles, making her deeply uncomfortable.

"Let's just go inside already."

Right now, she just wanted to get her cards and leave as fast as possible.

Yet, Isla and Jade weren't about to let her off that easily. Jade latched onto Morgan's arm and smiled:

"Let's go sing first! It's been so long since I've heard you sing!"

Without waiting for a reply, she pulled Morgan toward the nearest karaoke bar.

Although Morgan really wanted to refuse, going into an enclosed room was still better than being gawked at in public. Plus, she couldn't shake off the other two, so she agreed.

This karaoke bar had a very on-theme name: Duel KTV.

A smiling staff member greeted them and led them to the most luxurious private room available.

It could hold thirty people easily, but the three of them had it to themselves.

Jade and Isla were in high spirits. Both came from strict households and were usually restrained at home. Now, given the rare chance to cut loose, they intended to enjoy themselves.

Soon, melodic music began to play, and the two started belting out songs, even turning it into a singing contest.

Anyways, Morgan wasn't in the mood. She picked up her phone, opened the card shop app, and began searching for useful cards.

After a long search, she still couldn't find anything that could match Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder.

Which made sense… in this world, a card like ZEUS wouldn't be for sale. And even if it was, it would cost a fortune. No way she could afford it.

Thinking that, Morgan fell into gloom and sighed deeply.

At that moment, Jade and Isla finished their set. Sweat beaded on their noses, their skin glowing with a sweet sheen.

Jade handed Morgan the mic with a smile:

"Morgan, you sing one too! I love your voice. It's like a nightingale's."

Morgan took the mic without saying a word and scrolled through the song menu—then suddenly froze.

She spotted a song that perfectly matched her mood. A song from her previous life, one she knew well.

'Maybe this was fate…'

Morgan tapped on the song and walked onto the stage. She was going to dedicate this song to her fallen comrade: ZEUS.

Soon, the melody started. Before the others could react, Morgan began to sing:

"Utter heartbreak, unbearable sorrow, lalala…"

"Why can't I be the one you look up to?"

"If only I had never loved you at all, maybe I wouldn't feel this small."

"I just want to hear one thing you say, a word to guide my heart someday."

"Where should I go? Where do I start?"

"You left a maze inside my heart."

...

Morgan's vocals were indeed beautiful, and paired with her emotion, Jade and Isla felt like they were soaring aboard Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS, flying through outer space.

But as they reflected on the lyrics, their hearts began to flutter.

The lyrics felt like love poetry. Could Morgan be implying something?

'Was the protagonist of the song… me?'

'Did Morgan want to be the number one in my heart?'

The two girls were overwhelmed with emotion, cheeks flushed as they stared at Morgan. They hadn't expected such a bold confession from someone usually so reserved.

But that was fine. Morgan could be even more direct—they wouldn't mind.

The only thing they didn't know was that Morgan's heartfelt serenade wasn't meant for either of them…

It was for ZEUS.
