Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 129: Walls

Ivy nodded calmly at Daniel's question. She raised her hand, and in the next second, sacks of rice and nets filled with fish appeared out of thin air.

The air froze.

Jonas's jaw dropped. "Wha… what just happened?!" he stammered, pointing at the piles.

Elias's eyes widened like saucers. "You… you have a space superpower?" His voice shook with shock.

Even Mayor Daniel's face lost its usual sternness. He stared at the food, then back at Ivy, his lips trembling. "Space… you have space power?"

Ivy only gave a soft smile. "Something like that." She did not explain further.

Jonas opened his mouth again, but Elias quickly nudged him in the ribs. Mayor Daniel frowned, but in the end, none of them dared to keep pressing. Some things were better left unknown.

They all hurried to move the food into the mayor's house. Sack after sack disappeared inside until the house looked like a storage warehouse. Jonas couldn't hide his grin. "So much rice… more than I have seen in a year," he whispered.

Even Daniel, who tried to keep a serious face, looked secretly relieved. "At least my people won't starve," he muttered under his breath.

Once everything was settled, Ivy turned without another word and walked toward the edge of the base.

"Where is she going?" Jonas asked, scratching his messy hair.

"Who knows?" Elias shrugged. "She already gave us the food. Maybe she is going to look around her land?"

But not long after, screams and roars echoed in the distance.

Griffin, who was leaning against the wall, suddenly stiffened. "Those are zombies," he growled.

They all rushed to the windows. Outside, Ivy was surrounded by dozens of zombies.

Instead of running, she moved like water, smooth and sharp at the same time. Her pink hair swayed as she kicked one zombie in the chest, sending it crashing into two others. A blade appeared in her hand, and with one strike, three more heads rolled onto the ground.

"What… what is this?" Mason whispered, his face pale.

Jonas slammed his hands on the window ledge. "She's insane! Does she want to die?"

"No," Elias muttered, his voice low but full of awe. "She's winning."

They watched as Ivy's movements never slowed, never faltered. Every strike was clean, every step perfect. Even when zombies rushed from behind, she twisted her body just enough to avoid their claws and cut them down in the same motion.

Mayor Daniel swallowed hard. His voice was hoarse. "I… I cannot even compare to her."

Viktor clenched his fists, his pride shaking. "None of us can," he admitted. "Her combat skills… they are on another level."

When the last zombie fell, Ivy stood tall, her clothes slightly torn, her forehead shining with sweat. She did not even glance toward the house. She simply wiped her blade and walked back, calm as if she had only taken a stroll.

Griffin muttered, "Why is she doing this? Why fight them at all?"

Mason frowned. "Don't tell me… she's planning to wipe out the zombies in all twenty-five square kilometers of land?"

Jonas let out a laugh that sounded forced. "That's too ridiculous. One person? Fighting that many zombies every day? She will burn out in no time."

But the next morning, she went out again. And the next. And the next.

Each day, the house's windows were filled with the same group of men, watching Ivy battle. On average, nearly a thousand zombies fell by her hands every single day. She cleared ten thousand square meters of land in less than two weeks.

Jonas rubbed his eyes one evening, staring at the empty, blood-soaked field Ivy had just cleaned. "She… she's really doing it. One person is doing what a whole army couldn't."

Elias's face was pale, but his eyes shone with admiration. "She is like a storm. Look at her… fearless."

Mayor Daniel stayed quiet, but inside, his chest felt heavy. He thought of how hard he had fought for the land, how proud he had been, and now this woman was turning it into her empire with her own hands.

Griffin finally sighed, lowering his head. "We are nothing compared to her."

Viktor didn't reply. His pride was crushed, but he could not deny the truth.

As the days passed, reverence grew in all their hearts. None dared to voice it aloud, but they all thought the same thing.

After a week of fighting zombies, Ivy was finally sure that twenty thousand square meters of land were clean. That morning, before the sun fully rose, she slipped out quietly and walked to the empty fields.

Standing in the center of the cleared land, she closed her eyes and entered her temporal storage.

The familiar dark space opened, and the glowing shopping interface floated before her. She tapped on the "Walls" section.

"Level 0 stone walls…" she murmured. Her eyes narrowed as she scrolled. "Are there no higher levels?"

She searched carefully, but the screen showed nothing else. Just level 0.

Ivy let out a slow breath. "Fine. These will do for now."

She quickly started calculating in her mind. "If I cover twenty thousand square meters, I'll need…" Her lips moved as she counted and drew lines in the air with her finger. After a few minutes, she nodded. "That's enough."

She tapped the purchase button.

The next moment, she exited the storage, lifted her hand, and walls began appearing around her one after another.

Thick stone walls dropped from the sky with loud thuds, shaking the ground. Dust rose as each wall locked into place, forming a rough rectangle. Ivy walked along the edge, adjusting their alignment.

When the final wall clicked down, Ivy touched it with her hand. The surface was cold and heavy. She pushed it once. It didn't budge.

A small smile formed on her lips. "Perfect. These can't be moved."

An hour later, Mayor Daniel woke up and stretched. He walked out of his house and almost tripped. His eyes bulged.

"Wha… what on earth?!" he shouted.

Hearing his cry, Jonas rushed out, still rubbing sleep from his eyes. "What happened?!" He froze mid-step. "Holy… what are those walls?!"
