A Cultivator in the World Dominated By Awakeners

Chapter 71: Path of Alchemy

(I, the Emperor of Alchemy. To you who obtains this book, I hope you're lucky enough to reach the end of it.

For millions of years, I have researched various types of materials and discovered that all of them can help push one's understanding of scripture from one level to the next.

In this book, I have recorded everything I know so that you may one day fully comprehend your scripture. But don't think this will be easy—some of the ingredients may be incredibly difficult to find, so you will still have to rely on yourself!)**

The introduction was short, but it was enough to leave Oliver stunned.

He began reading the book page by page.

Each page truly contained a recipe for a potion or pill that could elevate cultivation from one stage to another.

Oliver wasn't entirely sure if this was actually real.

"Where did the Prime Minister get this book?" he asked Rebecca.

It was one thing for him to possess such a powerful artifact, but to also have a book like this?

"I don't know where he got it. It's only been about half a year. I think he obtained it by chance thanks to his position as Prime Minister," Rebecca replied.

"Is the book really that powerful?" she asked.

Oliver didn't respond to that question.

Instead, he pulled out a bottle from the ring—a bottle filled with a clear liquid, showing images of various monsters that looked alive.

After reading a few pages of the Path of Alchemy, he now understood what it was. It was called the Spiritual Path Potion, a potion that would boost cultivation by two stages within the Spiritual Master Realm, no matter what stage you were in.

Interestingly, it could be upgraded into an Earth Path Potion if one more rare ingredient was added.

And the Earth Path Potion could then be used to advance into the Earth Master Realm.

Unfortunately, that one extra ingredient was extremely difficult to obtain.

'One still can't assume cultivation is easy just because they possess this book,' Oliver thought.

After some time, they finally arrived back in Manchester.

"Do you have a private place in this city?" Oliver asked Rebecca.

Essentially, they needed a large enough space to place the World of Shadows, given its sheer size.

Oliver himself hadn't even thought about where he would eventually keep it.

Rebecca shook her head and replied, "Unfortunately, no—only family assets. But I've booked a room in a hotel earlier. It's very spacious and should be large enough for the World of Shadows."

"Alright, let's go there," said Oliver.

Rebecca then drove again to the building where the restaurant was, parking in its lot.

"Come," she said as she stepped out of the car.

Oliver followed her and found that the building was still quite lively even though it was almost midnight.

Most of the guests were elite couples.

But no matter how wealthy the men were, their women couldn't compare to Rebecca.

Just being with her made Oliver the subject of many envious glances.

He still felt those looks of jealousy even after he and Rebecca were already in the elevator—perhaps even from the security officers monitoring the CCTV.

Though he hadn't liked this woman at first, he couldn't deny that being with her made him a winner among men.

Of course, he didn't think too deeply about it.

When the elevator doors opened, he realized that there was only one door on that floor. In other words, there was only one suite.

Rebecca walked to the door and opened it with a keycard, revealing a massive bedroom—far too large to simply be called a bedroom.

It didn't just have complete facilities, it was beyond that.

The glass façade of the room was so transparent that it was almost invisible to the eye.

Someone with poor eyesight might assume this room didn't even have exterior walls.

The distance from floor to ceiling was around 15 meters, and the empty space was more than enough. Oliver could easily place the World of Shadows here.

He then summoned the portal from the artifact, and soon, it appeared in front of the large black sphere.

Oliver and Rebecca immediately stepped into the portal without a word and emerged once again into a grassland as large as a football field.

Oliver's eyes couldn't help but wander.

While holding the Ring of the World of Shadows, he could feel the artifact's power.

He could channel his energy into the ring, which would then be sent to the World of Shadows, and the World of Shadows would convert that energy into a manifestation.

In fact, the World of Shadows could design the appearance of the manifestation as he wished.

That included completely replicating his body.

'This really is magical,' he thought.

He couldn't imagine how the artifact was capable of such a thing.

"You can try it first," he said to Rebecca, tossing her the ring.

The woman caught it with a faint smile.

"Thank you. It seems you don't hate me anymore," she said.

Oliver didn't respond to her words, as that would only give her an opening to say more.

With such a bountiful harvest, it was hard for him to truly hate Rebecca, but that didn't mean he was happy to talk about it.

Since he didn't reply, Rebecca rolled her eyes before focusing on the ring in her hand.

"I'll give it a try," she said softly.

Oliver then saw her energy flowing into the Ring of the World of Shadows in large amounts.

At the same time, another figure of her began to take shape—exactly identical and even wearing the same clothes.

The two figures looked at each other and blinked.

"Weird feeling," she said.

"Right!" her newly formed figure suddenly replied.

"Is it difficult to control two bodies?" Oliver asked.

"If it's just one manifestation, I think it's still manageable. No major side effects, and I can stay conscious," Rebecca replied.

"How many do you want to make?"

"For now, just one. I still need to get used to this. Two might be too much for me, especially since I'm only at Level 10. I could end up in worse condition than that Prime Minister."

After saying that, Rebecca handed the Ring of the World of Shadows back to Oliver.

"You can stay here alone," said Oliver after receiving the ring.

He didn't just want to create a manifestation. Inside this artifact, he planned to advance his cultivation and use True Form.

Doing either of those wasn't something he felt comfortable doing in front of others.

Rebecca nodded without asking, as if she understood that he had his own matters to attend to.

"I'll wait for you in the room. Don't worry—everything will be safe as long as the artifact stays in my room," she said with a calming smile before stepping into the portal.
