Chapter 6: Chapter eleven and twelve
Chapter 11: The Hunt for the Last Divine Items
The world had become a battlefield of gods and monsters. Heroes, villains, and those in between had spent months tracking down and claiming Divine Items, pushing their abilities to new heights.
But there were still a few left.
And the final war was about to begin.

Section 1: The Last Hunts Begin
Batman and Constantine – The Shadow War Beneath London
The sewers of London had never been silent, but tonight, something far worse than rats lurked in the darkness.
A Divine Item—a Cloak of Shadows that granted invisibility and intangibility for thirty seconds at a time—had been hidden beneath the city.
And Batman and Constantine were here to retrieve it.
"You sure this is the right place?" Batman asked, scanning the damp tunnel with his cowl's sensors.
Constantine lit a cigarette. "Mate, if I'm wrong, you can punch me later. But trust me—this place stinks of old magic."
Then, the shadows moved.
A low growl echoed through the tunnel, and from the darkness stepped a twisted figure. Its body flickered between corporeal and ethereal, its eyes glowing with black fire.
"The guardian," Constantine muttered, flicking his lighter. "Of course."
The creature lunged, its claws phasing through the air—then solidifying just before striking.
Batman barely dodged in time, rolling backward and hurling a batarang laced with explosives.
The blast lit up the tunnel, but the creature reformed instantly.
"Yeah, explosives won't cut it," Constantine muttered. "Give me a second—"
"No time," Batman cut him off, activating a sonic disruptor.
The creature shrieked as the soundwaves tore through it, making it falter for a split second—just long enough for Constantine to step forward and trap it within a magic circle.
With a whispered incantation, the guardian disintegrated, leaving behind the Cloak of Shadows.
Batman took it without hesitation.
Constantine exhaled. "Well, that was fun."
Batman was already walking away. "We're running out of time."

Superman and Martian Manhunter – A Race Against Time
Deep in the ruins of Atlantis, two beings hovered above the last great Divine Relic—a Crystal Heart said to amplify a person's mental and physical abilities tenfold.
Superman narrowed his eyes. "Something isn't right."
Martian Manhunter's telepathic voice echoed in his mind. "We are not alone."
The water around them shifted unnaturally.
And then they saw it.
A colossal Atlantean guardian, its body composed of shifting coral and ancient steel, rose from the depths.
Superman didn't hesitate—he charged.
His fist collided with the creature's chest, sending a shockwave through the ocean floor. But the guardian barely flinched before swinging a massive trident at him.
Superman caught the weapon mid-swing but felt an immense resistance—as if gravity itself had multiplied around him.
"It's using the Crystal Heart's power," Martian Manhunter noted before phasing through the guardian's chest and attempting to disrupt its mind.
But the guardian had no true mind to read.
Superman gritted his teeth. "Then we take it down the old-fashioned way."
Together, the two titans of justice unleashed their full power.
Blow after earth-shattering blow, they weakened the guardian until, finally, Martian Manhunter telekinetically wrenched the Crystal Heart free from its core.
The guardian crumbled instantly, and the relic was secured.
"One more piece off the board," Superman said, holding the artifact.
"But the final battle is still ahead," J'onn warned.
And they both knew it.

Section 2: The Final War Begins
The Gathering Storm
Across the world, the last Divine Items had been claimed.
And now, there was only one thing left to do.
Decide who would rule.
Or who would be left standing.
The battlefield was chosen: A war-torn wasteland on the outskirts of Metropolis, abandoned and forgotten.
Here, the most powerful heroes, antiheroes, and villains assembled for the final confrontation.
---
The Final Battle: Chaos Unleashed
The sky above Metropolis burned as the first blows were exchanged.
Superman vs. Darkseid
Wonder Woman vs. Black Adam
Batman vs. Lex Luthor (now wielding enhanced battle armor)
Flash vs. Reverse-Flash
Martian Manhunter vs. Brainiac's drones
The ground cracked as god-like forces collided.
---
Superman vs. Darkseid
The air trembled as Superman and Darkseid collided like living comets.
Superman ducked under a backhand swing, countering with a heat vision blast so intense it melted the surrounding rock.
Darkseid barely flinched.
"You grow stronger, Kryptonian," he said. "But strength alone is nothing before my will."
His Omega Beams ignited, zigzagging unpredictably before slamming into Superman's chest, sending him flying into the earth.
Superman rose instantly, his cape torn, but his resolve unwavering.
"You'll have to do better than that."
Then he launched forward—faster than Darkseid could react—and drove a punch straight into his face, sending the tyrant reeling for the first time.
---
Batman vs. Lex Luthor
Luthor's battle armor had absorbed millions of dollars worth of technology and Divine Item power—making him stronger than ever.
But Batman?
He had planned for this.
The two engaged in a battle of brute force and tactical precision.
Luthor's energy beams cut through buildings, but Batman dodged each one flawlessly, using his own Divine-enhanced gauntlets to deflect the attacks.
"Give up, Wayne!" Luthor sneered, his armor surging with power. "You're just a man!"
Batman smirked. "And you never learn."
With a single EMP pulse, he overloaded Luthor's suit, causing it to lock up just long enough for Batman to plant an explosive charge on the power core.
The detonation sent Luthor crashing to the ground, defeated.
---
Wonder Woman vs. Black Adam
Lightning split the sky as the two warriors clashed.
Their blows shattered mountains.
Adam tried to end it quickly, but Wonder Woman matched him strike for strike.
"Your magic means nothing," she declared, latching onto his arm and hurling him across the battlefield.
As he recovered, she drew the Lasso of Truth and ensnared him, draining his power just long enough for a finishing blow.
With a final slash of her blade, she sent Adam spiraling into unconsciousness.
---
The War Ends
The battlefield lay in ruins.
Heroes and villains alike stood victorious or fallen.
And Shavalyoth watched from the shadows, knowing that this was only the beginning.
Because somewhere, beyond the veil of the known universe, something far worse had awakened.
And soon, even this battle would seem like a mere game.

Chapter 12: The End of the Game – Balance Restored
The game had reached its final act.
The Divine Artifacts—objects of immense power—had shaped the battles, forced alliances, and driven the world into chaos. Some had been destroyed, others taken by those deemed worthy, and a few had fallen into the wrong hands.
But now, as the dust settled, the last wave of rewards had to be distributed.
Balance had to be restored.
The cosmic entity Shavalyoth loomed above Earth, his presence felt by all. Heroes and villains alike stood in silence, awaiting their fate.

The Last Divine Artifacts – Choices and Consequences
Metropolis – The Amulet of Judgment (Claimed by Superman)
A golden amulet floated in the skies of Metropolis, its surface inscribed with ancient Kryptonian markings.
Superman held it carefully, his senses tingling at the sheer justice-bound energy it radiated.
Shavalyoth's voice was calm. "This amulet will grant you temporary immunity to all forces of deception and mind control. You will see truth as it is, undistorted."
Superman exhaled, realizing the responsibility this carried. "If I take this, it must never be abused."
Shavalyoth simply nodded. "A test of your restraint."
Superman clasped the amulet around his neck, feeling a strange clarity settle in his mind.
For now, the balance remained steady.
---
Gotham City – The Cloak of Shadows (Accepted by Batman)
A pitch-black cloak billowed unnaturally in the wind atop Wayne Tower, a relic forged from the void between dimensions.
Batman analyzed it with a keen eye. "What's the catch?"
Shavalyoth's voice was unreadable. "It grants you the ability to walk unseen, even from those who see everything."
A powerful tool—but one that could lead even the most disciplined into darkness.
Bruce hesitated for only a moment before gripping the cloak and wrapping it around himself.
For a split second, he vanished completely—even to those with superhuman vision.
When he reappeared, he muttered, "I'll use it wisely."
Balance remained steady.
---
Central City – The Gauntlet of Acceleration (Rejected by The Flash, Taken by Zoom)
A silver gauntlet crackled with pure kinetic energy, promising limitless acceleration.
Barry Allen stared at it, expression unreadable.
"This isn't right," he muttered. "Speed is something you earn, not something you take."
He turned away.
But before anyone could react, a crimson blur snatched the gauntlet from midair.
Zoom.
Eobard Thawne grinned, slipping the gauntlet onto his hand. "You should've taken it, Barry. Now it's mine."
Lightning erupted around him, and he vanished into the Speed Force.
Balance tilted slightly.
---
Themyscira – The Spear of Ares (Claimed by Wonder Woman)
Diana stood before the bronze-tipped spear, feeling the lingering presence of Ares himself.
Shavalyoth's voice carried a warning. "This is the last remnant of the God of War. It will amplify your strength… but also your aggression."
Diana closed her eyes. War was a tool, a means to protect—not something to indulge in.
But in the battles to come, she would need every advantage.
She grasped the spear.
A faint whisper echoed in her mind, but she remained resolute. She was not Ares.
Balance remained steady.
---
Atlantis – The Orb of Leviathan (Accepted by Aquaman)
Beneath the ocean depths, a shimmering orb pulsed with deep-sea energy, ancient beyond measure.
Arthur Curry reached out, feeling the very heartbeat of the sea.
Shavalyoth spoke. "With this, you will command not only the creatures of the deep but the very tides themselves."
Arthur nodded. "Then I'll use it to protect my people."
As the orb sank into his palm, Atlantis itself seemed to pulse in response.
Balance remained steady.
---
The Final Distribution – Those Who Refused and Those Who Took
Not everyone accepted the Divine Artifacts.
Lex Luthor had rejected an artifact, deeming it a "child's game." But unknown to him, one had already begun whispering into his mind…
John Constantine took a Book of Forbidden Names, but immediately regretted it as it burned his hands with eldritch knowledge.
The Joker refused everything, laughing hysterically, saying, "What fun is power if it makes things easy?"
Zatanna acquired a Mirror of Fate, allowing her to glimpse shattered futures.
Each choice altered the path ahead.
---
Shavalyoth's Final Words – The Warning
As the last artifact was claimed, Shavalyoth addressed the world one final time.
"The game has ended. You have chosen your fates."
The cosmic entity began to fade, but not before leaving a final message:
"Do not be so quick to celebrate. For you were never the only players."
And with that, he was gone.
Balance had been **restored—**for now.
