A Rider Kick in Marvel Rewrite

Chapter 21: Chapter 21

In his luxurious Malibu mansion, Tony Stark swirled a glass of expensive Château Lafite Rothschild, the deep red wine catching the evening light. The room's ambient lighting created a soft, sophisticated atmosphere.

"Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. interrupted, "I've detected another sighting of the unidentified armored subject you've been monitoring."

Tony raised an eyebrow. "Show me."

Holographic screens materialized around him, displaying multiple angles of footage. One screen showed the blue-armored warrior - Kuuga - engaged in a fierce battle with a grotesque frog-like creature near a riverbank. Another sequence captured the same warrior fleeing from police vehicles through a dense forest, skillfully maneuvering the Trychaser motorcycle.

The footage revealed Kuuga's Dragon Form throwing what appeared to be a staff-like weapon, causing a police car to crash dramatically into a tree. The rider continued his escape, leaving behind a stunned Captain George Stacy.

Tony leaned forward, studying the screens intently. "J.A.R.V.I.S., run a full analysis on these images."

J.A.R.V.I.S. began processing the video footage, his holographic interface flickering with complex data streams. Multiple windows opened, showing detailed breakdowns of the blue-armored warrior's movements and transformation.

"Analyzing unknown subject's biomechanical parameters, sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. reported. "Detecting significant variations between red and blue combat forms."

Tony leaned closer, fascinated by the color shift. "Show me the differences."

Holographic charts materialized, comparing the Mighty Form and Dragon Form. Detailed metrics displayed side-by-side revealed dramatic changes in the warrior's physical capabilities. Strength readings dropped by 22% in Dragon Form, while agility increased by 37%. Speed metrics showed a remarkable 45% enhancement in the blue configuration.

"Interesting," Tony muttered. "A deliberate trade-off between power and mobility."

J.A.R.V.I.S. continued parsing the data. Muscle group activation patterns, energy expenditure, and combat efficiency metrics populated the screens. The blue form showed more refined movement patterns, suggesting a specialized combat approach different from the balanced red configuration.

"Analysis complete," J.A.R.V.I.S. announced. "Shall I compile a comprehensive report?"

The holographic displays flickered as Tony heard the distinctive click of Pepper's heels approaching. He didn't need to turn around to know she was about to launch into one of her trademark lectures.

"Tony," Pepper's voice cut through the room's technological ambiance, "you missed another board meeting. Again."

He waved a dismissive hand without looking away from the screens. "Obadiah will handle it."

Pepper sighed, a sound that was equal parts exasperation and resignation. She was well-accustomed to Tony's perpetual disregard for corporate formalities. "A plane has been waiting for you for over an hour. The flight was scheduled ages ago."

Tony turned, a sardonic smile playing across his lips. "It's my plane," he said with characteristic confidence. "It'll wait."

Tony continued studying the holographic displays, his fingers swiping through various frames of the blue-armored warrior's combat sequences.

Pepper glanced at the screens, pausing when she recognized the figure.

"Is that the Kamen Rider?" she asked, leaning closer to the display.

Tony raised an eyebrow. "The what?"

"Kamen Rider," Pepper repeated. "He's been all over the news lately. Some kind of vigilante fighting strange monsters in the city."

Tony snorted. "Kamen Rider? That's a bit moronic. Sounds like a bad anime character."

Tony watched the holographic footage intently, his scientific curiosity piqued by a peculiar moment in the combat sequence. The blue-armored warrior - Kuuga - appeared to be holding a simple stick that suddenly elongated and transformed into a complex staff weapon.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., zoom and enhance," Tony commanded.

The hologram magnified, revealing the moment of transformation in exquisite detail. The stick seemed to grow, its molecular structure shifting with impossible fluidity. Tony's eyes narrowed. Matter manipulation at this level defied everything he understood about current scientific capabilities.

"Run spectral analysis," he muttered.

J.A.R.V.I.S. began scanning, displaying complex molecular diagrams that only deepened Tony's confusion. The transformation appeared to occur instantaneously, with no visible energy expenditure or mechanical mechanism.

"Impossible," Tony whispered, leaning closer to the holographic display. "Did someone figure out how to manipulate matter?"

The staff's molecular restructuring continued to play on repeat, each replay revealing nothing new yet somehow more perplexing. Tony's mind raced with potential explanations - quantum manipulation, advanced nanotechnology, something beyond current scientific understanding.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., run every analysis protocol we have," Tony instructed, his scientific curiosity burning with intensity.

Tony studied the holographic displays, his fingers dancing across the translucent interface. The blue-armored warrior's movements continued to fascinate him - each frame revealing something new and perplexing.

"Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. interrupted, "spectral analysis complete. Results are... inconclusive."

Pepper watched from the side, her arms crossed. "Another mystery?"

Tony nodded, his mind racing. The warrior's transformation defied conventional technology. No power source was visible, no mechanical augmentation detected. Just pure, inexplicable energy manipulation.

Pepper crossed her arms, her patience wearing thin. "Tony, you need to get on that plane. Now."

Tony spun dramatically in his chair, facing her with a trademark smirk. "And why exactly is my presence so urgently required?"

"Rhodey's already waiting at the airport," she said firmly. "Happy's ready to drive you. You've missed three consecutive board meetings, and this one is non-negotiable."

He waved a dismissive hand. "I'm sure the board can survive without my sparkling personality for one more day."

Pepper's eyebrow arched. "Really?"

"Absolutely," Tony replied, turning back to his holographic displays.

"Well, I have plans after dropping you off," Pepper added casually.

Tony's head snapped around. "Plans? What plans?"

A hint of a smile played on Pepper's lips. "It's my birthday, Tony. I'm allowed to have plans."

His eyes narrowed. "Your birthday? already?"

Pepper looked at Tony with a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "Isn't it strange? It's the same day as last year," she remarked.

Tony waved his hand dismissively. "Well, get yourself something nice from me."

"I already did," she replied, her tone measured and professional.

"And?" Tony prompted, raising an eyebrow.

"It was very nice. Very tasteful. Thank you, Mr. Stark," Pepper said, a subtle smile playing at the corners of her mouth.

"You're welcome, Ms. Potts," Tony responded, his voice carrying a mix of fondness and formality.

With that, he gathered his belongings and prepared to depart for his plane, not knowing it would change his life forever.
