Chapter 10: Konohagakure no sato (7) - Final

"So..." Rias spoke slowly, looking at Harry seriously. She stood with her fingers interlaced and her chin resting on her hands together. Her elbows were on the table and her expression was extremely serious. Harry was in the same position as her, with the same serious expression.

In all the time they had spent in this world, they only knew two people more closely and deeply: Naruto and Jaraiya. Then there were the two toad sages, Fukusaku and Shima, or also called Ma and Pa. And while one of the latter two wasn't a bad idea to invite to the chat group, they were more inclined towards the other two, Naruto and Jiraiya. Of course, they could only invite one of them, so they were talking seriously about who to invite.

"Naruto has grown a lot in the time we've known him. And while he's more naive in some things, even more so than myself, Jiraiya might get a little annoying with his personality, especially if more women join the group in the future."

"Mmm..." Rias nodded as she muttered a little. Harry was right in this case. While Jiraiya was stronger and had a tougher mindset than Naruto, his eccentric personality and perverted side might get a little annoying in the future. However, they had also thought about the possibility that other people from different worlds might get the same message as them, entering the chat group through that means. They weren't sure, but they might have to deal with people even more annoying than Jiraiya.

And as for Naruto, he was younger than them, but he would add a more friendly and fun dynamic to the group. Rias and Harry didn't want the chat group to become just about gaining power and freedom, but also a space for people to form a future great group, where they can have a relaxing time of their lives and experience some fun.

Naruto would be perfect in this case, especially with how strong he could become, especially with the rewards the chat group could give in missions, or purchases in his shop.

Unfortunately, their thoughts and ideas while chatting were interrupted when there was a knock on the door.

"I'll go see who it is," Rias stood up and walked to the door. When she opened it, she noticed an Anbu waiting.

"Do you need something, Anbu-san?" Rias asked with a bit of curiosity.

"Hokage-sama wanted to talk to you, he's waiting for you in his office," the Anbu said before disappearing with a shunshin.

"Well... this may not be so surprising," Rias muttered and went to find Harry.

When the two travelers arrived at the Hokage's office, they noticed Jiraiya standing with a small smile at the side of Hiruzen's desk.

"Good afternoon, young ones," Hiruzen greeted politely.

"Good afternoon, Hokage-sama," the two bowed slightly and greeted. But Rias continued with the question, "What did you want to talk to us about, Hokage-sama?"

"Yes... it's been two days since the invasion. I had to have several meetings; so I couldn't talk to you guys before. But I wanted to thank you for defending Konoha, especially when you're not Leaf shinobi and were simply visitors."

"People were suffering at the time, helping was the least we could do, Hokage-sama," Harry replied seriously with a hard look.

Hiruzen smiled slightly, "But, still, they deserve respect and thanks for such help."

"Jiraiya told me that they wanted to be shinobi of the Leaf... Is that true?"

Rias and Harry looked at each other before sighing.

"Honestly, Hokage-sama. I made that request so that I could train with my bloodline. At that time, I didn't want to seem suspicious and be taken as an enemy if I trained and destroyed the training grounds. Now, however, we need to return to our home."

"I see...", Hiruzen let out a sigh.

"But...", Harry interrupted. "If you need it, you can contact us through Naruto. We became friends, and we will leave the way to contact us at your disposal. If the village or any of you need our help in the future, you can ask without hesitation."

"Harry is right. Even though we only made friends with Naruto and Jiraiya, we will still help you."

"That is absolutely heartwarming. Both of you showed great skills in the battle two days ago," Hiruzen nodded, still smiling. "However, I would still like to reward you. Do you have any requests that this old man can fulfill?"

Hiruzen really wanted to reward them, not just for the fact that they helped the village and saved many lives. He knew that he would have died in that battle against Orochimaru. His experience and instincts had told him that, and he had prepared for his death. But, Rias had saved him from such a fate.

Thanking and rewarding them was fitting. No, it was the right thing to do.

"Well...", Harry spoke first. "If possible, it would really help if I could receive some scroll with Suiton Jutsu."

"I don't really need anything. But, if it were possible, I would like a Leaf Headband. This place was where I made two friends and fought as an ally, I would like that as a souvenir," Rias smiled slightly.

Hiruzen raised his eyebrows, especially at Rias' request. But he was glad that she valued something like the Leaf Headband. That was one of the village's hallmarks, an item that could very well be of great value to every loyal shinobi.

"It can be done, without a doubt such a thing can be done!" Hiruzen replied cheerfully.

The two teenagers smiled satisfied at receiving what they asked for.

"It's a shame that you won't be joining the village, but it was gratifying to meet two young people with such potential," Jiraiya smiled even more strongly as he crossed his arms.

"Even with all the perverted stuff, it was fun meeting you too, Jiraiya," Harry smiled and this gesture only grew more when he saw the Sannin's grumpy expression.

Naruto smiled a little sadly at Rias and Harry, who were in his hospital room. The blond was still resting from his battle and hadn't been let out.

"Hey... that headband looks great on you," Naruto said softly as he looked at the Konoha headband on Harry's left arm. The young Potter smiled and looked at his headband before smiling.

"Yeah... it's perfect."

"Do you really have to go?" Naruto asked, letting out a sigh as he scratched the back of his head a little. Rias smiled a little sadly at him, she knew how lonely Naruto could be. Even with friends, every time he came to his apartment, he found it empty and no one to talk to or tell his problems to.

It had been a secret between the three of them, but Naruto cried when he saw Rias and Harry after a tiring day of training. He was surprised when he saw his apartment completely clean and tidy. But when he saw the two in the kitchen welcoming him, Naruto cried without realizing it until Rias called his attention.

"Naruto-kun... take this," she walked over and handed him a phone. Naruto tilted his head in bewilderment before taking the phone.

"Keep one of your fingers on the little circle on the back," Rias told him and Naruto complied. When his index finger rested on the fingerprint reader, information smoothly downloaded into his head. From that moment on, he knew what he could do with the device and why Rias had given it to him.

"You guys..." Naruto gasped a little and looked at them as he whispered. "Aren't you... from this world?"

Rias smiled and sat at the foot of Naruto's bed, looking into his eyes.

"I come from a dangerous world where gods exist, as well as different races. Harry comes from a world where magic exists and he attends a castle where he learns about it."

"Magic?! Really?" Naruto asked with stars in his eyes.

Harry laughed in amusement before showing his wand and transforming the glass of water that was on the table next to the bed. Naruto watched in amazement as the glass changed into a bird.

"How amazing-ttebayo!"

"Naruto...", Rias called out with a little more seriousness. The blond looked at her curiously.

"Even if you can buy things in the future - inside the chat shop - you have to keep training so you can accompany us on many adventures."

"Yes, I will become stronger-dattebayo! I will show you how strong I will become when I see you again."

"Then this will be a see you soon...", Harry smiled before nodding at Naruto. Just as Harry said those words, his and Rias's phones pinged with a notification before they began to glow.

"Well... it seems we're heading back."

Rias looked down at her hands and nodded at Harry, "I'm glad I met you. But like I said, it'll be a see you soon. We'll meet again."

"Yeah... it was fun," Harry sighed before disappearing with Rias, leaving Naruto alone.

"See you later..." he clenched his fist before looking at him with determination. "I'll get stronger so I can accompany you, Rias nee-chan, Harry nii-chan."

Rias blinked as she saw she was in the same occult club room as when the trip began. She was alone at the moment, but she didn't move at any point.

Rias raised her head towards the ceiling before closing her eyes and sighing.

"It was only a month but... it almost seemed like a lifetime," Rias smiled sadly.

"I'll miss the guys," she muttered before walking towards the exit, closing the door and leaving the room empty. The candles went out completely and left a quiet room, but with a lonely atmosphere.

Harry looked at the floor while moving his hand through his messy hair. The Chamber of Secrets seemed to dampen his mood even more, so he began to walk towards the exit.

"Back to your annoying life, Harry Potter," he muttered while making a slightly sad face. When the door to the Chamber of Secrets closed, it revealed for a few seconds the lonely back of Harry as he continued walking towards the darkness of the hallway outside the chamber.
