Snow came out of the hotel and said, "Axel, dig deep and find me everything they might have against us."

Axel nodded and they got inside the car before driving away. Inside the hotel, Jimmy and Alina were still sitting on the table, and Alina was looking at the child laying in the crib. She said, "I didn't think she would be this sharp."

Jimmy nodded and replied, "They have always been this sharp. Leo just never chose to show us his edge back then. Last time, I was honest and I hoped that if I could reconnect with him I would be able to work up something and find you and Junior a better life. I didn't expect that man to turn so cold."

Alina shook her head and replied, "It was only right for them to be cold, after all, they have suffered a lot. What I don't understand is, why is she still suspicious of us?"

Jimmy thought for a bit and said, "I have no idea, but what I know is that we cannot try to force our way in. They have armed guards. This is by no chance normal. Something must have happened."

The couple was thinking why Snow's guards were carrying guns, when Alina said, "Is it possible that her family has accepted her back in the lineage?"

Jimmy turned to look at her and shrugged as he said, "Your guess is better than mine, but let's see what it is, I am sure that given our timeline, we can find out what is going on."

They both had intentions, but it was not connected to Carole Primal, they had something else going on in their minds which none were aware of till now.

Leo finished cooking the dishes and his mind was preoccupied with Snow meeting the Shelby couple. The young man took a deep breath and was about to serve when Symphony walked inside and said, "Mister Cardinal, let me help you."

The two of them quickly served the food, and then set up the table. The entire time, Lily had been playing or talking with the elders of the Rouge family and she had learned a lot. At this moment, the door of the house was knocked.

Symphony walked over and opened the door slightly to see who it was, she opened the door completely and let the person inside. Leo saw that it was a middle-aged fat woman. She was wearing moderately decent clothing but her gold watch and chains were shining too much.

Symphony asked, "Landlady, what caused you to come over? Did the neighbors complain?"

The lady shook her head causing the double chin to wiggle and said, "No, no, dear, I didn't come here for that, but I came here to give you an eviction notice."

Symphony's face changed and the lady sighed as she said, "See, my son is getting married, and they will need a play to stay after the ceremony. I know that you all are a good family and even better tenants, but I have my own troubles."

Symphony didn't know what she should say when Professor Arnold said, "You don't have to apologize, Miss Carver. It has been far too long since you even increased the rent for our sakes. Thank you for what you have done all these years, I will find a way to evict the house on time."

The middle-aged lady noticed the old man and also Leo who was watching all this coldly. She had the urge to tighten up this man who was the reason behind all this. In her mind, Leo was the man who used Clara and dumped her.

She held back the urge to judge the man, and asked, "Little Symphony, who is this young man?"

Symphony smiled and replied, "This is Mister Cardinal, Mom works at his house, and I also watch his daughter in the evening. Grandma and Grandpa had been wanting to meet the little one so he came over with Lily."

Lily walked over beside Symphony and greeted the middle-aged lady with a smile, and said, "Hello auntie."

The middle-aged lady smiled and realized that she was jumping the gun, and after a small talk she left the house. Leo asked, "Symphony, you would now need to change the house, right?"

Lily rolled her eyes and said, "Baba, is that not obvious."

Leo smiled and said, "Fine, I have promised the five insurances to your mother, so this time I will get you guys a place near the school."

Symphony had long learned not to question Leo Cardinal, but the old people thought that he was taking pity on them. Professor Arnold said, "No, Mister Cardinal, you don't have to go out of your way to do such a thing for us."

Leo wanted to convince her when Lily spoke up, "Grandma Anna, are you going to say no to me? I also want for Sister Symphony to live closer to the house so that we can play together for longer times."

Leo chuckled and said, "Little goblin, no blackmail."

He pacified the devil and turned to look at Anna and Arnold as he said, "Don't worry, I am not going out of my way. I had promised her five employment benefits, one of them is housing, second is transportation, third is health insurance for the entire family, followed by Symphony's education and Clara's old age pension."

This statement set the heart of the older couple at ease. Leo said, "Symphony, next weekend, take your mother to watch the houses and I will reimburse the payment. Okay?"

Symphony nodded and said, "I understand, Mister Cardinal."

Snow had come back home, and it was evening when Axel came inside the house and said, "Madam, we have something."

Snow raised her brow and asked, "What is it?"

Axel gave her the file and said, "I am fifty percent sure that the other side is not aware that we know about them."

Snow understood what it meant, they had been detected by the enemy. She opened the file and looking at the first two pages she raised her brow and said, "Hmmm, to think that the Luger family would be so wary. They planted people not around their son, but also the enemy of their son. Let's wait and see how Leo will react to this."
