Almighty Father System

Leo finished his qualifiers with the sixth position on the starting grid. The young man parked the car inside the paddock and the technicians came over to help him out. They all praised him for driving so bravely and gaining the position.

Leo thanked them lightly before he found Lily sitting in the chair with a mobile pointed at his direction. The young man smiled as he realized that she was clicking his pictures and he walked over. The people wanted to converse with him but they saw where he was going and they walked away.

Lily was a monster in their eyes, a cute, and terrible monster. She knew too much about how things worked here for her age. Well, she was a normal child these people have just never seen a smarter one. Ignorant people.

Anyhow, Leo came over to pick the little girl his arms and then they clicked a few selfies before he called the technical team over to pose with them and Zeenat took the picture. The whole paddock was cheering and many reporters wanted to get a word from Leo but he declined the interaction. Instead, Carlos was thrown to fend the cameras, and the father daughter duo left the place and headed out.

The came to the montek city and so it was time for them to go shopping. In the car, Lily said, "Baba, I want to drive too."

Leo thought about it and said, "Well, how about we buy you a go-kart?"

Lily was surprised and asked, "Can we buy one here?"

Leo nodded and said, "Montek City is the birthplace to Clover Nation Motor racing scene, so in this city, not only can we find a car with top notch racing features and power, but also build a car from scratch that could go on to compete with the best in the world."

Lily was surprised and she opened her eyes wide. After a minute, she asked, "Baba, would you build me a cart?"

Leo smiled and nodded, "Yes, Baby, I will make you a cart from scratch. Let's go and buy some parts. But, can you wait till we get back home for me to assemble the cart?"

Lily nodded and Leo looked at the driver responsible to take them around the city, and said, "Mister Kevin, can you drive us to the best shop where we can buy some supplies?"

Kevin nodded with a smile and said, "Sir, if you don't mind shall I take you to a private shop?"

Leo asked, "What is the difference in this private shop?"

Kevin replied calmly, "This private shop is ran by the great-grand daughter of none other than the godfather of Clover Racing, Jacob Helson. They manufacture carts and tune everything else to a level that none of the other people can."

Leo nodded and said, "Take us there then."

After an hour, they stood in front of an old courtyard. Lily looked at the wooden gate with a doubtful gaze. She looked at Kevin suspiciously and the man cleared his throat before he went forward to knock on the door, and said, "Madam Helson, this is Kevin, someone would like to do business with you."

A beep sounded and the gates opened automatically. Leo saw a few watch dogs growling at them and Lily hid behind him. Leo glared at the dogs and projected his killing intent on the guy. This caused the dogs to take a step back, and Leo took half a step forward. Just when the beasts were about to meet the maker, a calm voice sounded, "Shoo, don't scare people."

Leo turned around and found a middle-aged lady walking over. She wore the traditional outfit, and said, "Welcome, please come in."

Kevin gestured for Leo to go inside first, this made the old lady understand that Leo had a high status. The young man carried Lily in his arms because she was still a bit unsettled by the dogs.

The lady said, "I am Martha Helson, what brings you here today?"

Leo replied, "It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Leo Cardinal and this is my daughter."

Lily chimed, "Greetings Elder, I am Lily Cardinal."

Her voice brought a smile on the elder's face, and she asked, "So, Mister Cardinal, what can I do for you?"

Leo replied calmly, "I would like to buy a cart for Lily. She is very keen on giving it a try."

Lily smiled and Martha looked at them once again, and Kevin said, "Mister Cardinal is a new director of the racing department for Wagoner Group, and he is participating in the charity race being held in the city."

Martha was surprised and asked, "Do they have a qualification round? I would like to come and see you test your vehicle."

Leo didn't have to reply, when Kevin spoke up, "Hehehehe, Madam Helson, Director Cardinal ran through the qualifiers today and he gained P6 in rain."

Madam Helson raised her head to look at Leo and she was utterly speechless. However, she tagged it all on beginner's luck, then she pointed at the big mansion and said, "Come, I have the carts stored here."

The people followed her, and Lily pointed at many flowers silently and asked Leo about their origins, and Leo told what he knew, and what he didn't know, he asked Martha about it. The place was very big for a property in the Montek city.

Lady Helson obliged and she told Lily about all of them. They walked for over two hundred meters before they came to the gates of a three floor tall mansion. Lady Helson led them to the center of the mansion where Leo saw a dozen of go-karts were kept. They all were placed on pedestals, and a few men were taking care of the units while wiping off the surface with a microfiber cloth.

Madam Martha said, "Argon, come over for a moment, and bring the measurement scale."

Leo and Lily looked at each other, and then they saw a young man walk over while pushing a tall scale over. Martha said, "Mister Cardinal, let Lily go through measurement of her height."

Leo followed the instruction and then asked, "What is the reason behind this?"

Martha replied while Argon set up the scale, "The height of the driver defines the perfect sitting position and this will help the driver maintain a better control over the vehicle."

Leo was surprised and then he nodded in realization, he decided to take notes of the things that Madam Helson was doing. After a few moments, the inspections of weight and height were completed and Madam Helson said, "I suggest that you buy the basic entry model, when she gets used to it, you can upgrade to a better one."

She took Leo to the corner and there was a simple cart but it had bigger bumpers on all sides, and the tires were smaller. She said, "The tires and the bumpers are interchangeable, the engine comes with a limiter. There is no speedometer or the odometer, this is to teach the drivers that driving is about sense and not numbers. Sometimes when someone is driving at a higher speed the numbers just give them something to hesitate.

This one is a cadet cart, it has a 160cc engine that can take her to the top speed of 70 kmph, of course it can go to 80, but we set an electric limiter, it will start from 20 kmph as a top speed and then you can increase the limit when she can drive it with the average speed of 15 kmph or more in a lap."

Leo nodded as he learned all these things, he knew that karting had its rules, but he didn't expect them to be this tough. Martha then briefed her on the kart and the things they needed to be mindful about and said, "If you pay extra, then we will send a technician to check on the unit every one month."

Leo nodded and said, "Thank you, I will take this and a two sets of kart tires."

Martha nodded and shook his hand as she said, "Wagoner used to be a business partner at a time, too bad that all good things come to an end. I wish you all the best for the race tomorrow."

Leo thanked her and then paid the money as he left an address with her to get a new Kart delivered at their hotel, and he asked her to paint the family crest on the steering guard.

Martha was surprised to see that Cardinal family had a family sigil, this made her very curious. After the deal was finalized, Leo and Lily went to take a meal.
