Bai Meiyue stood still and slowly turned to look at the bleeding wound on her shoulders. Though Bai Feng had controlled his strength, Bai Meiyue knew that with her current condition, this move of Bai Feng could have been truly fatal. If she were not careful just now, she could have lost her son.

Chu Xia's heart jumped to her throat when she saw that her daughter was right under the burning rubble. She dodged the flames and rushed to where Bai Xue was lying; once she reached her daughter, she hugged her and rolled around on the floor. Her whole face and body were scalded because she was covering for Bai Xue.

Bai Xue, who was dragged and pulled, cried out in pain.

"Xue Xue!"

Bai Meiyue lowered her head and looked at Chu Xia, who was questioning her. She could see that the woman was eager to protect Bai Xue and was not even surprised when the woman turned black and white.
