The soldier who came with Bai Feng stared at the bags of mutated meat that had been packed up for them to take, and he pursed his lips. He didn't trust Bai Meiyue or her team; they had left the base in a hurry because they didn't want to stay in the safe base anymore.

If this continued, then she would soon be able to exchange a new planet with the barter system.

Though she was confident that she could still raise her son in this world, Bai Meiyue thought that it would be better if she got her hands on a planet. Every parent wanted nothing less than a safe place for their children to grow up, and she was the same. Especially with the guilt that was weighing down her heart.

Once the transaction was done, Bai Meiyue asked Xiao Wu and the rest to put the meat in the truck and allowed Bai Feng to borrow it for the time being. She then turned to look at the elderly and children before saying to them, "Follow me."

"Miss?" one of the pregnant women reached out to hold her daughter and stared at Bai Meiyue warily.

Bai Meiyue didn't get angry. She understood the suspicions and the feelings of the pregnant woman; after all, she too was once in the same position as this woman. She said to the woman, "I am not taking your child away from you. She can come to see you at any time, but do you want her to stay in the maternity ward with you all the time? Let me show her the place where the rest of the kids stay."

The woman hesitated, but ultimately she let her daughter leave with Bai Meiyue. She had heard a lot about Bai Meiyue from Bai Feng when he was bringing them here.
