Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 251: Madness

[Please choose a name for your Fallen.]

"Zaraxis." Daniel didn't think much about it and picked a random name.

"All hail the Lord." The queen, with her massive figure, knelt before him.

As Daniel sensed more stones starting to fall from above, he decided to close the panel for now and cancel the summoning of his new Fallen.

Right after that, he activated Fallen Step without hesitation and teleported to the location of one of his Fallen outside the cathedral.

As soon as he arrived, he let out a relieved sigh and looked around. To his surprise, all the Corruption Beasts were falling from the sky one by one.

The light in their eyes was gone, and it was clear that the flames of their lives had been extinguished.

"So their lives were connected to the queen's," he muttered to himself. After the queen's death, all the Corruption Beasts that had emerged from the dimensional break died as well.

Well… it's not like he had a problem with that. It just made things easier — he didn't have to waste time killing them anymore.

'Daniel? Can you hear me?'

Suddenly, a voice echoed in his mind.

'Mr. August?' He had completely forgotten he had a communication talisman on him.

'We lost contact with you for almost an hour! Where are you? Are you alright?'

'I'm fine… Actually, I found the queen too.' Daniel replied.

'What?! Where is she? I'll send all our forces there immediately!'

'Mr. August, calm down… The dimensional break issue is solved. I'll explain everything once I'm back.'

He then ended the call and removed the communication talisman, placing it back in his inventory.

After that, he looked over all of his Fallen and nodded to himself, canceling their summons.

His army was growing stronger by the day.

He was now strong enough to form his own guild — and all of his Fallen could become its members.

Unfortunately, that didn't matter right now. His family's life was at stake, and to save them, he might have to join a guild.

Before flying toward the Awakened Association, he changed his armor. Military surveillance helicopters were still patrolling the skies — they seemed confused about what had just happened to all the Corruption Beasts.

They had been fighting those monsters just minutes ago, and now, all of them had mysteriously died.

Naturally, it drew their attention and confusion.

Upon reaching his destination, Daniel landed on the ground. The guards were familiar with him and let him in without issue.

Without delay, he went straight to the underground shelter where the city officials were hiding.

As soon as he entered, he greeted them and gave a brief explanation of the events that had occurred.

The more he explained, the more shock and awe appeared on their faces. It was clearly hard for them to believe all of it.

Especially the fact that Daniel fought thousands of Corruption Beasts alone and even defeated their queen.

This boy in front of them was only rank B! How could he have such terrifying power?

Some even thought he was exaggerating — that it couldn't be real. But the evidence was right in front of them.

All the Corruption Beasts that had emerged from the break were suddenly dead. The monsters that were destroying the city just hours ago had all been wiped out.

August, Philip, and even the mayor looked at him with disbelief and awe. Their evaluation of him skyrocketed.

They never imagined that such a monster was sitting in front of them.

It should be known that to kill thousands of Corruption Beasts between ranks C to B — with even some mid-rank B monsters among them — would require at least seven Awakened at rank A.

Corruption Beasts are vastly more powerful than any other race of the same rank… maybe only dragons surpass them.

And yet, here stood someone who, even by the most monstrous standards, was a monster.

"Were you able to find anything about your family?" August suddenly asked.

"Can we speak alone?" Daniel glanced at the others as he replied.

"Come on, we can go somewhere more private," the head of the Awakened Association nodded and was about to stand up.

"No need. Now that the Corruption Beasts are dead, we should all get back to work," the mayor said, stopping him from standing up. The rest followed the cue and began to leave the room.

They all gave a bitter smile but obeyed his words, and within seconds, only August and Daniel remained.

"Alright, tell me what happened."

Daniel didn't hide anything. He explained that the leader of the Scyronblade Guild, Kaelos, had taken his family hostage.

Of course, he kept the part about learning this from his Fallen a bit vague.

"You're sure?" August's face darkened with a deep frown.

"I'm sure," Daniel nodded.

"Damn it. Why would he take your family hostage?" The head of the Awakened Association was clearly angry.

"Well… maybe because I killed his son?"

"What did you do?" August thought he had misheard for a moment.

"I killed his youngest son on the first floor of the Tower."

At this point, there was no use in hiding it.

Now that Kaelos had taken his family, it wouldn't be long before it became clear that Daniel was the one who killed that bastard's youngest son.

August said nothing and just gave him a hollow stare. For a moment, he felt a wave of emptiness and then sighed.

"His youngest was his most beloved son… and you're the one who killed him, huh?

Then yeah — it makes sense that he took your family."

"So what should I do now? I have a few plans… but honestly, they all depend on luck." Daniel sighed.

He never thought it would be revealed that he was the one who killed Aron. Back then, he hadn't considered that items might exist that could expose that truth.

"Kaelos is a rank S Awakened… you can't do anything on your own.

The difference between rank S and rank A is so huge that even ten thousand A-ranks couldn't scratch an S-rank… it's like the gap between a mortal and a god."

"That much?" Daniel was stunned.

He knew the difference was big — but not that big.

But thinking about it again, it made sense.

The power he had seen from Kaelos was nothing like what any A-rank could ever have.

"The only thing you can do now is get help," the head of the Awakened Association said firmly.

"Get help? I've thought about it… but I'm not sure it's possible."

"With the talent you've shown, any guild would do anything to recruit you. Your only option is to go to the capital and join one of the strongest guilds in the country.

Your best bet is Everlight," August said. He knew this kid preferred to work alone, but there was no other way.

Even he couldn't take on a rank S… the only path forward for this kid was to join a guild.

Naturally, the best option was the Everlight Moon Guild — especially since Daniel and Naya already had a good relationship.

With the kind of talent this boy had, August was sure they'd be willing to help in exchange for his loyalty.

"I guess that's my only option…

But do you really think they can help?

I mean, my enemy is a rank S Awakened who's gone insane… that bastard is probably willing to do anything for revenge."

Then again, if it came down to madness, Daniel was pretty sure no one in this situation was crazier than him.

He was barely holding back his thirst for blood. In his past life, when he lost the ones he loved, the result was the death of hundreds of millions — even billions — and the world nearly reached extinction.

Now that he had no limits to his power… only God knows what might happen.
