Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 298: Daniel Commits Suicide?

From the sea of blood beneath Daniel's feet, one by one his Fallen rose. Dozens of Fallen emerged behind him, lined up and ready to fight.

"What are these?" The goddess frowned. How could this human suddenly summon such an army?

Worse yet, this army wasn't an illusion — they were real.

"What's wrong, scared?" Daniel laughed. In truth, he usually preferred to fight alone and only used his Fallen if there was an enemy army to deal with.

But his current opponent was far too strong. In a situation like this, naturally, he had no choice but to use his Fallen.

"Hmph, I can do the same thing." The Moon Goddess growled and waved her hand.

Dozens of silver warriors wielding blades of light appeared, along with moon-like creatures with glowing eyes standing behind her.

Crystal wolves, time eagles, and even the illusionary spiders Daniel had once fought stood in formation.

"Well, I guess I should've expected that." Daniel sighed, glancing at the army the goddess summoned.

Although they were the same monsters he had fought before, their power was greatly reduced, only around C to B Rank.

"Go, tear them apart," he ordered his Fallen.

They nodded and charged forward, clashing with the goddess's army.

Crystal wolves slashed at the Fallen with glowing claws, time eagles unleashed waves of energy, and illusionary spiders spun threads to ensnare the shadows. The battlefield turned into chaos as the crystalline ground shattered and the pillars trembled under the weight of magic.

Daniel watched the clash briefly, then lunged back at the goddess. With [Bloody Shadow Dance], he melted into the shadows.

He suddenly appeared behind her and attacked with [Shadow Weapons].

Black spears erupted from the ground, slamming into the goddess's Silver Moon Armor, but she growled and defended herself.

[Moonlight Wall]

A silver wall appeared around her, shattering the spears. She countered immediately with [Cosmic Tide], unleashing a wave of lunar gravity that trapped Daniel in a cycle of push and pull.

Daniel, using the gravitational aspect of the Law of the Moon, lightened his own gravity and slipped out of the wave, though a wound tore open along his side.

He healed it with Mana Healing and leapt back several steps.

Frowning, he glanced at the Eternity Flower in his spiritual sea. It was partially wilted and damaged, but it could still help him for about one minute.

He activated Eternal Death Melody, letting its immense sword energy engulf him.

A vibrating black wave rippled from his body, momentarily stopping the goddess, but she quickly defended.

"You can't stop me!" she said with a cold smile and launched [New Moon Storm].

The storm filled the space, and Daniel felt his body being crushed under the combined force of gravity and illusion. He tried to shield himself with death and eternity energy, even activating [Demonic Twilight Shield].

The shield managed to deflect the storm's energy and revitalized him, but new wounds tore across his arms and chest. He could even feel his internal organs being shredded.

If not for tempering his organs with death energy, he would've collapsed and died several times by now.

He healed again with Mana Healing, but his energy was running low. His reserves weren't limitless.

Sensing the Eternity Flower worsening again, he immediately cut off its energy flow.

"Time to come up with something new." He shifted his focus to lunar energy and death energy.

With his understanding of these two Laws, creating a new skill wasn't difficult.

He raised his sword, channeling a fusion of lunar light and death energy, forming a crescent wave of darkness and light imbued with destructive and illusory force.

[Moon Death Crescent]

He swung, releasing a crescent wave of silver light and black darkness at the goddess. The wave cracked her silver armor and split the ground, but the goddess countered with a new skill of her own.

[You have successfully created a new skill…]

Daniel closed the system notification. He didn't have time to read it now.

[New Moon Shadows]

Shadows shaped like moons manifested around the goddess, devouring the crescent wave and firing it back at Daniel.

She didn't stop there — using the temporal aspect of the Law of the Moon, she slowed time for a moment, leaving Daniel unable to defend.

The attack struck him, launching him hundreds of meters away. The sound of his bones cracking echoed as the searing pain brought him to his knees.

He immediately triggered Mana Healing, but his energy pool was almost dry and he couldn't heal all his wounds.

He felt a foreign energy tearing apart his insides and quickly summoned death energy to suppress it.

The goddess, not letting the opportunity pass, attacked again.

[Silver Star Barrage]

Behind her, a spatial rift opened, unleashing a rain of starlight that fell like meteors with devastating destructive force, pouring out of the rift toward him.

Daniel began burning his life essence, converting it into mana, and immediately activated [Eyes of Destruction].

The black-and-red beams shredded the falling stars, but his skin wrinkled and aged, his life essence draining heavily.

"With this state, I can only attack once more," he muttered, gritting his teeth as he surveyed his condition.

His bones were shattered, blood sprayed from his body, his organs were damaged, and his mana was nearly depleted.

Seeing he had no other chance, he decided to put everything into one final strike.

Once more, he activated [Eternal Judgement].

He channeled death energy, mana essence, life essence, and the Law of the Moon into his blood-forged sword.

For the second time, the sky turned blood-red. A massive sword materialized in the air — colossal and radiant, cloaked in silver light, black darkness, and flames of red and white. With everything he had, he hurled it at the goddess.

"This? Damn mortal bastard!" For the first time since the battle began, she felt danger.

This sword was different. The last time he used it, it had only been shaped with death energy.

Now, it was something else entirely.

The blood-forged sword crashed into the goddess's Silver Moon Armor like a divine meteor, and an explosion of light and darkness shook the temple.

Her armor shattered, deep wounds tore through her body, silver blood poured from her as she was hurled kilometers away.

The sound of her bones breaking rang out, and her once-beautiful face was ripped apart, half of it burned away completely.

"Did it work?" Daniel frowned, straining to look into the distance.

But he saw the goddess smiling coldly, glaring back at him with pure rage and hatred.

She stretched out her hand. Suddenly, a colossal hand grasped the moon in the sky, dragging it down. A black hole opened in her mouth, swallowing the moon whole.

A surge of lunar energy flooded into her body, healing her wounds instantly.

Not only that — her power returned to its peak.

"I am the moon, and the moon never dies!" she roared.

"Damn it, this counts as cheating!" Daniel wanted to cry but had no tears.

How the hell could someone just eat the moon?

He collapsed onto the ground, watching as the goddess slowly approached to erase his will and consciousness, ready to claim his body.

"What do I do? Should I use Self Transcendent?" he muttered to himself.

It wasn't that he couldn't use it, but if he did, all his skills would become unusable for an entire month.

That was what the Mother System told him when the one-week usage restriction on his skills had finally ended.

He didn't want to use it because so many events were about to unfold in the coming days — and he needed his full power.

"I can use that," a sudden thought struck him, his eyes flashing.

Daniel detonated his own body with death energy and mana.

"You insane human, what did you do?!" the goddess shouted furiously as she rushed toward him.

Did this lunatic just kill himself so she couldn't take his body?

But what happened next made the goddess's eyes widen in terror.

[Apocalypse Skill Activated]
