Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 307: Law Of Origin

Daniel, after defeating the four of them, turned around to check on Serys's situation.

Fortunately, the girl was doing fine—in fact, better than fine. She had managed to suppress the three Wanderers with ease.

"Should I help her?" he murmured to himself. Interfering in someone else's fight wasn't usually a good thing.

Besides, Serys was handling them well enough. Sure, she had taken a few hits, but nothing serious—she clearly had the upper hand.

She was stronger than Daniel had expected. Almost on the same level as Lana. Maybe even a little stronger, with an advantage in combat.

"She's using all four elements... and also, the Law she's using... what kind of Law is that?" Daniel frowned.

Serys was naturally using her Law in battle, but it was a Law that he had never seen before.

Right now, she seemed like the origin of all four elements, as if she were the source from which they were formed.

To use elements or a Law, a source is needed. But Daniel could feel that Serys's source was herself—her own body was generating the four elements.

And based on what he sensed, that had to be because of her Law. But what kind of Law could grant such power?

"Could it be the Origin Law? It's not a well-known one—it's extremely rare. But cultivating that Law is even harder than the Seven Supreme Laws." He frowned, clearly not expecting such a surprise from her.

The Origin Law was both known and unknown. The number of people in history who had cultivated it might not even exceed the fingers on one hand.

The reason was simple. All Laws need a source, and even the Origin Law was no exception. But what could be the source of something like the Origin?

A Law like that required a source capable of serving as the root of all Laws. But did such a source even exist?

He went through all his knowledge and information, but found nothing. He didn't know of any such source.

"Maybe it's a trait of her class," Daniel murmured to himself. He couldn't ignore the possibility that the source might actually be her class itself.

Then he raised his hand and once again activated the skill [Bloody Judgment].

The sky dimmed, and drops of blood began to fall. The drops transformed into bloody swords and rushed toward the three Wanderers.

To make sure they died, he also infused the swords with Death Energy and his Mana Essence.

"What the hell are those?!"

"Noooo! Run!" The three Wanderers felt an overwhelming sense of danger and tried to flee, but it was pointless.

The swords cut through them, slicing them in half and killing them instantly. These three had been the weakest of the seven Wanderers, and Daniel had killed them with ease.

Still, Serys was shaken by the sight. For a moment, she felt a deep sense of futility.

Even if those three were weaker than the others, could they really be killed that easily by Daniel?

All three of them were mid-rank A... and that boy was only rank B! The gap between them was so massive it couldn't even be explained with words.

So how? How could he be this powerful?

She didn't say anything and quietly walked over to where Daniel stood, near the four other Wanderers who were now kneeling on the ground.

"You okay?"

"Just a few scratches. Nothing serious," Serys nodded.

"So, where were we? Right... I'll give you one chance. Tell me who ordered you to attack us," Daniel said, turning coldly and indifferently toward the terrified Wanderers.

Of course, he didn't forget to activate his [Enchanter of Hearts] skill too. After all, this skill could stir up all kinds of emotions—perfect for making these bastards talk.

The four Wanderers immediately felt a wave of cold fear. Even regret was starting to show in their eyes.

In fact, they were convinced they'd die even if they told the truth. The only difference was that if they talked, maybe their death would be quicker and less painful.

Why did they even take this mission? They should've just let one of the other Wanderer teams accept it.

It had nothing to do with them! But now it was too late. There was no medicine for regret.

"Not gonna talk?" Daniel's tone turned even colder. For a moment, he restarted the Death Beam that had been halted in their bodies.

The beam targeted their souls and began consuming them. Suddenly, all four felt an unimaginably horrific pain.

The pain was so intense they started hurting themselves just to distract their minds from the agony of their souls being devoured.

Serys sighed as she watched the scene. This young man... was even more terrifying than she had imagined.

She was familiar with the pain of having one's soul devoured, and it wasn't hard for her to guess what was happening to those four, just by looking at their expressions and behavior.

In fact, having one's soul slowly consumed while still alive was known as one of the most infamous forms of torture in their world. Unfortunately, she herself had witnessed such torment in the past.

All she could say was this — death, in comparison to having your soul devoured, was almost a relief.

"We'll talk! Please, stop!" One of the Wanderers finally broke down and shouted.

There had only been one reason they hadn't talked sooner: the law of the Wanderer organization. The Wanderers had four core principles.

One of those was that the identity of a client must never be revealed. If violated, the offender would be expelled from the organization and marked as a target to be hunted by every other Wanderer.

That's what they feared... but right now, the young man before them was scarier than that law.

"Good. Then talk," Daniel said, stopping the Death Beam.

As it ended, the four Wanderers gasped for air and took several deep breaths.

After a few moments, once they had calmed down a bit, they finally started to speak.
