Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 340: Reunion With An Old Friend

Daniel explained to them about the ring and the armor, what they were used for, and what abilities they had. As expected, at first they couldn't believe it.

"Do such good things really exist?" — That's when Daniel realized that these two girls' worldview was a bit narrow and needed some expanding.

Still, until they could enter the Celestial Domain, there was nothing that could be done — not that it mattered much. It wasn't like it would hurt them or anything like that.

He helped both of them a little so they could get used to their gifts and taught them how to use them and how they were meant to be used.

Of course, this was mostly for Tiana — after all, Alice's gift was just an armor and didn't have any special method of use or anything like that.

After they got used to their gifts, they challenged Daniel again, thinking they could defeat him now.

Daniel suppressed his power level to rank F and, using only a wooden sword, gave both of them enough of a lesson to make them remember to respect their elder.

Still, during their fight, he noticed that many of the two girls' weaknesses had been greatly reduced — it was obvious that during all the time he had been away, they had been training hard.

It seemed that the incident they had gone through had really left a strong negative impact on them, and they didn't want it to happen again.

"Go to sleep," Daniel chuckled and returned to his bedroom, glanced at his panel, and then went to sleep.

It didn't take long for the sunlight to wake him up. After having breakfast, he planned to go out with his family, but Lana called him and said her sister had come to the guild.

Without hesitation, Daniel got in the car and drove to the main building of Everlight Moon. As he had been told, he went to the chairman's office, which for now was under Lana's control.

After knocking, he entered, and besides Lana's usual face, there was another cute face that looked a lot like her, smiling at him as if she had been waiting for him for a long time.

"It's been a long time," Naya said with beautiful eyes and a lovely smile on her face.

"Likewise," Daniel smiled back, and for a moment all the memories he had with Naya replayed in his mind.

This girl was the first to recognize his talent and potential and did her best to befriend him. She was also the one who gave him the first key he ever obtained.

It was thanks to her that he could go to the tower smoothly and without any issues. If it weren't for her, he might have had to wait six months — and in that case, maybe he wouldn't even be standing here now.

In other words, one of the greatest opportunities of his life was meeting this girl, which was why he wanted to help her if possible.

"I'll leave you two alone for a bit," Lana said after seeing the atmosphere, and left. With her gone, Naya became a bit shy, almost looking like she felt mischievous.

"How are you?" Daniel chuckled a little at her shyness, then walked over and sat on the couch. The girl sighed, composed herself a bit, and sat across from him.

"I'm fine. How about you? Not much time has passed since I last saw you, but you've changed in an unbelievable way," Naya said with wonder in her eyes.

The last time she saw the boy in front of her, he had barely counted as a rank C… and now? He had reached rank B and was not much weaker than her sister in combat power.

After coming out of seclusion, her sister had given her a summary of all the events that had happened. The more she heard, the more shocked and amazed she became.

Especially about Daniel's growth speed… She was one of the few people who truly knew that less than four months ago, he had officially become an Awakened.

What exactly had happened in that time? She didn't know, but she really wanted to hear about it.

"A lot has happened, and well… what can I say? I'm just too good," Daniel laughed.

After that, at Naya's request, Daniel gave her a brief rundown of some of his adventures. The more she heard, the more amazed she became.

It was clear she didn't expect so many things to happen to one person in just four months. Most Awakened who enter the Celestial Domain for the first time spend about two months in the same area they appeared in.

But Daniel? In four months, he had traveled a lot and seen many places.

"Tell me about yourself. What happened that made you go into seclusion for so long?"

"Well, remember I told you I needed your blood? It's not like I can just take your blood and summon a Spirit Queen to form a contract. My body wouldn't be able to handle such a being. First, I had to raise my body to a level where it could withstand something like that," Naya paused for a moment, then answered.

"I see. So, is that problem solved now?"

"Yeah, I think I can form a contract with any spirit I want now — but I have to test it first."

Daniel nodded, then took out from his inventory a small cylindrical glass container with a single drop of blood inside, glowing like gold.

"This…?" Naya was shocked, clearly not expecting something like this.

"This is what you wanted." He had been a bit hesitant to give it to her, but after confirming there was no problem and no one could detect the properties of his blood, he decided it was fine.

Besides, he was also curious why the Spirit Queen would be willing to form a contract with Naya over just a single drop of his blood.

"Thank you so much! I'll never forget this!" A bright, indescribable joy lit up her eyes as she spoke in an incredibly happy tone.

In fact, she wanted to jump up and hug Daniel — maybe even hold him tight — but at the last moment, she stopped herself, feeling embarrassed. How could she do something like that? What would Daniel think of her?

She took the drop of blood from Daniel but didn't use it right away. Instead, she stored it in her inventory — she would need to be somewhere safe and private to use it, like her personal dimension.

"Anyway, I've heard from my sister that you're planning to participate in the Ten Thousand Treasures House auction, right?" Naya then asked.
