Chapter 341: Legendray Dragons
"Right, I don't really have anything else to do," Daniel said lazily. His main reason for participating in this auction was because of his intuition and the chance to meet Andreas again.
He wanted to see if that idiot had made any progress in becoming the heir of his family, and if not, to give him a few pieces of advice.
"Well…-" Naya seemed a little hesitant, unsure whether she should tell him what the spirits had just said to her.
"What is it?" Daniel frowned. This was the first time he had seen such an expression from Naya.
"Well, I already have contracts with several spirits, and I don't know if you know this, but all spirits are connected to their Queen."
"And?"
"The spirits are telling me that their Queen told them to warn you about the auction, that something dangerous might happen there," Naya said, dropping her hesitation.
Hearing this, Daniel raised his eyebrows slightly in surprise, for reasons beyond just the possibility of danger at the auction.
He was more surprised about why the Spirit Queen would bother warning him about danger there. Would it even matter to her?
And another question was—how did the Spirit Queen know what was going to happen? He didn't dwell on this too much though—after all, she was one of the rulers of a race, so it was natural she had many ways of finding out such things.
As for the possibility of danger, he was already aware of it. According to what those bandits from Golden Tooth had told Rynor, it seemed they were planning to attack the Ten Thousand Treasures Auction House.
He already knew about that and wasn't too worried. Even if the sky were to fall, there would be someone else to stop it… why should it have to be him?
As long as these dangers and incidents didn't directly target him, he preferred to stay away from them.
"Thank the Queen on my behalf for her warning and tell her I'll be careful," Daniel said with a smile. If this Queen wanted to build a good relationship with him, he had no problem with that.
Naya nodded and was about to change the subject, but once again her spirits began talking, apparently delivering another message.
She was a bit shocked. The Queen replied this fast? That woman had never answered her before, yet now she was responding so quickly to this boy? Naya felt a little jealous.
"She says this danger is related to dragons." Nevertheless, she conveyed the Spirit Queen's words to him.
"About dragons?" Daniel's frown deepened. Dragons were the most legendary race in the Celestial Domain.
In fact, whether in this world, his previous life, or even in the Celestial Domain, dragons were considered mythical—so much so that many denied their existence and claimed they were just a legend.
He had heard many things about dragons but had never seen one with his own eyes.
Dragons were the most reclusive race in the world and allowed no one but their own kind into their territory. Anyone who tried to break this law died without even a grave.
Truth be told, even he wanted to see dragons—wanted to see what made them so special and why they were so legendary.
And now, there might be something related to dragons at the auction? That only made him want to attend even more.
After thanking her again, he and Naya talked about various other topics. They even agreed that when he had free time, he would take her along on an adventure.
He also knew about her plan to become a streamer and even suggested doing a joint stream once, which Daniel agreed to.
After that, they said their goodbyes and Daniel left. He wanted to see Naya again to keep his promise and give her a drop of his blood.
That girl would probably make great progress in strength the next time they met, which would also increase the overall power of the guild.
Speaking of the guild, now he kind of wished Alice and Tiana would join it. That way, he could help them more easily and look out for them.
Also, with him, Naya, and Lana, if two more geniuses like his sisters joined, he was certain the Everlight Moon Guild could definitely become the strongest guild in the world.
"Maybe I should find a chance to bring them here?" It wasn't like there was no way, but each method had its own troubles.
They had already been recruited by Fallen Sun and had signed official contracts. If they wanted to leave before the contract ended, they would have to pay the breach-of-contract penalty.
That wasn't really a problem for him—he could easily pay it with his wealth—but it could seriously damage Alice and Tiana's reputation and hurt the relationship between the two guilds.
"In the end, their opinion matters most. If they get mistreated there, we could use that as an excuse. Better to wait," he muttered to himself before returning to the villa.
When he came back, he found his sisters still lying tired on the couch watching cartoons.
"Aren't you embarrassed at your age? Watching cartoons?" he mocked them.
"That's not something someone who secretly watches action cartoons should say," Alice retorted without even looking at him.
Daniel went silent. She was right, and unfortunately, Alice had a lot of evidence on him in this regard, so he had no choice but to shut up.
"I'm not wasting my time on an idiot like you. Where's mom?" Then he went to look for his mother, Liana, and found her reading a book in her room.
"Is something wrong, dear?" Liana asked with a smile when she saw him.
"How about we go out for dinner tonight?"
"Of course! In fact, I know a really good place," Liana said happily, standing up and starting to explain where she wanted to go.
Daniel didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It seemed his mother had been waiting this whole time for him to ask that question.
They all got dressed and went out for dinner, to the restaurant his mother had suggested. Interestingly, the menu was filled with such strange dish names that they had no idea what to order.
In the end, they just ordered a few dishes at random. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was truly delicious.
After that, they went to the park for a walk by the water. By the time they returned home, it was already nearly midnight.
All the ladies were tired and went straight to their rooms to sleep, and Daniel lay down on his bed and fell asleep as well.
