Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 344: Asking For Help

"Actually, no… quite the opposite. Because of all this, my father finally looked at me with a better view — as if he finally acknowledged me," Andreas said with a smile on his face.

However, there was something strange in his tone — as if despite being acknowledged, there was still a problem.

"But your tone says something else. Did something happen?" Daniel asked.

Andreas didn't answer right away and looked at him with some hesitation and doubt, as if he didn't know whether he should say something or not — after all, these were his problems and he didn't want to drag his friend into them for no reason.

Ilaris was watching from the side, but she didn't interfere. They had talked about this before, and this boy was a bit embarrassed to ask for help, which in her eyes was foolish.

But in the end, everything depended on him.

"Well, when I came back, I realized I wasn't the only one who had achievements. My other brothers and sisters had also achieved a lot — especially my brother, the one everyone thought was trash." In the end, he sighed and began speaking.

"You mean Lioran?"

"You know him?" Andreas looked at Daniel in confusion, as if he hadn't expected that.

"Well, I have a friend from the Magic Tower."

"I see, then you must know that Lioran has basically become the successor of the Magic Tower now. And that has greatly increased his fame and popularity in the Lionheart family."

"I see… so now you've fallen behind again in the competition for succession." Daniel nodded, realizing what was going on.

By becoming the heir to the Magic Tower, Lioran should now basically be recognized as the greatest genius of the current Lionheart generation.

Of course, there were probably one or two others whose achievements could rival his, and that had caused his friend to be thrown out of the competition circle again.

Andreas said nothing and just lowered his head.

"So, what's your plan? Because I doubt you plan on just backing off so easily."

"Well, the competition has now entered a stage where we can use our names and titles openly and don't need to hide our identities anymore. In the end, whoever becomes the most famous person on the continent will have the greatest chance of becoming the successor," Andreas explained.

"So you want me to help you spread your fame across the continent?" Daniel asked with a smirk.

"Well… you're the only one I can trust and who has the ability to help me," he nodded.

Daniel didn't answer right away and pretended to think. In truth, he was just acting — he had already predicted and guessed this scenario.

Even he had been surprised by what Lioran had done, let alone the patriarch of the Lionheart family.

That's why he knew exactly how to take the most advantage of this opportunity.

"No problem. But you need to promise me something — when you become the next head of the Lionheart family, you must fulfill three of my requests without any questioning. Don't worry, they won't harm you or your family."

This time, it was Andreas who paused and thought. Three absolute requests that he couldn't even question was a lot — especially for when he became the next head of his family.

Still, did he have another choice? He was talented, no doubt, but compared to those three, he looked pale and average.

With Daniel's help, though, he might be able to close the gap between himself and them — especially since each succession candidate was allowed to have a group.

"I swear that when I become the next patriarch of the Lionheart family, I will fulfill your three requests without questioning them," Andreas raised his hand.

Suddenly, a will descended from heaven and earth, sealing his oath — if he broke it, he would be turned to ashes.

"Great. So, do you already have a plan for what to do? Or should I come up with something?" Daniel asked with a smile.

"Actually, I have a few plans. I want us to travel to the famous places of the continent and gain fame there."

"So you have no real plan. I'll come up with something after this auction."

Andreas lowered his head in disappointment, clearly upset that Daniel saw his idea as a joke.

Ilaris, seeing him like this, started laughing — it was the first time she had seen this kind of expression on the boy's face.

"Anyway, what about you, Daniel? What have you been doing during this time?" Then she turned to Daniel and asked with curiosity.

Daniel smiled and told them a bit about his adventures. They were just like Naya — the more they heard, the more shocked they became.

"So you conquered the second floor of the Tower too? I had such a plan myself, but I didn't have the time. I need to conquer the second floor as soon as possible and become an Advanced Climber," Andreas said.

"So you were lazy," Daniel laughed loudly.

"Well, I conquered the first floor," Ilaris suddenly said with excitement and looked at him, as if waiting to be praised.

"Nice. How was your first Tower experience?" Daniel asked her.

"Dangerous, but still fascinating. Luckily, death isn't possible in the early floors — otherwise I would have died a thousand times," she said, recalling something with a bit of fear.

She could still remember those terrifying monsters that almost ate her — and worse… if the first floor was that scary, then what about the second? Or the third and fourth? And the last floors?

Even thinking about them made her body tremble in fear.

Ilaris gave a brief explanation of the first floor's contents to Daniel, and Daniel also told them a bit about the second floor he had conquered.

They talked for a while about this until Daniel finally changed the subject.

"Anyway, instead of those A-rank items you promised me, what were you planning to give me?"

As far as he could remember, this boy had promised him something better, right?
