Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 365: The White Whale

Lionheart Family, Black Palace

Inside a grand hall, numerous figures were seated. The atmosphere seemed calm, yet beneath its deep layers, a hidden coldness lingered.

All gazes were fixed on the one sitting at the center. She wore a plain white robe, utterly ordinary, and at this moment, her expression appeared indifferent — as if she cared for nothing and nothing could affect her.

With her presence, no one dared to speak. Everyone was waiting for her to open her mouth.

Her long white hair reached down to her hips. Her body was well-shaped, its curves hidden beneath the robe. Her pale white eyes looked emotionless.

"Madam, here is the full report of the situation." Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of the beautiful woman, handing her several sheets of paper.

The beautiful woman, the one everyone seemed to fear, slowly took the sheets from the figure — a figure that looked like a phantom, almost like an illusion — and then it disappeared.

The Elders of the Lionheart family sighed when they saw that phantom-like figure. As they had suspected, this savage woman truly possessed a Shade.

Shades were one of the greatest spy organizations in the world, standing in the same league as the Wanderers and the Beggar's Organization. However, they were different.

Because they did not spy on others for themselves — instead, they nurtured spies for the great powers. Any great force could come to them and request a Shade.

But it was not as if this organization sold spies to just anyone. First, you had to be approved by the highest authority of the organization. And across the entire world, the number of people who had received their approval was likely fewer than twenty.

Once approved, you could either directly buy one of the existing Shades, or request them to cultivate one specifically for you, according to your required standards.

A Shade would enter into a binding contract with its master — an extremely strict one that guaranteed absolute loyalty.

What was even more remarkable was that about 99% of the world didn't even know this organization existed. Only the most powerful figures in the world were aware of them.

And the reason for the Elders' astonishment now was that they had not known this woman before them possessed a Shade. There had been rumors about it, but in the end, rumors are only rumors.

This realization made them fear her even more. Shades were practically undetectable and untraceable. They could even spy on a Heavenly Climber.

"It seems that the Ancestor's spiritual body has been destroyed, and his will damaged, which in turn has harmed his soul. The damage is so severe that it will take nearly half a century for him to heal," the woman spoke calmly. Her voice was so beautiful it could tempt anyone, yet so cold it could make anyone shiver with fear.

"What should we do now? If this continues, our power might weaken," one of the Elders finally gathered his courage, frowning as he spoke.

Seeing him speak, the other Elders also mustered up their courage and began talking.

"The Heavenly Kings, most of the continent's forces have also suffered damage, so there shouldn't be a problem. However, we must do something about those bastards from the House of Ten Thousand Treasures."

The injury or death of a Heavenly King could have an enormous effect on the power of any great force. After all, these Heavenly Kings were practically the pillars of every superpower.

Fortunately, this time most of the Heavenly Kings across the powers were injured. Otherwise, if only their Ancestor had been harmed, they might have lost their standing as a superpower, and the deterrence against their enemies would have weakened drastically.

"Don't worry. Sooner or later, there will likely be a meeting between all the great forces of the continent to deal with the House of Ten Thousand Treasures," another Elder replied.

"This auction turned into a complete loss. Nobody managed to gain anything," they all sighed.

"Nobody? That's wrong. Someone did gain something," the woman suddenly spoke, silencing all the Elders. Clearly, they wanted more information, but none dared to ask.

This woman was the sister of the current Patriarch of the Lionheart family. Their leader had gone to the White Sea, and in his absence, she was holding the reins of the family.

The White Sea could be considered one of the greatest dimensional breaks. Millions of corrupted beasts had emerged from it, turning the surrounding region into a hellish wasteland.

Their leader had gone there and had been trying to completely purge it for years. Unfortunately, he had not yet succeeded.

As for this woman — from the perspective of the entire Lionheart family — she was a complete savage, merciless and emotionless, and no one even dared to speak to her.

The world had given her two titles: the White Whale and the Lady of the Bloody Night. And behind each of those titles lay different stories, tales that had turned this woman into a ruthless and heartless existence.

"It seems Andreas' friend managed to obtain the key to a Demigod's tomb from this auction," the White Whale said indifferently.

Yet her words caused an uproar among those present. For a moment, they were stunned, and even traces of envy flickered in their eyes.

The tomb of a Demigod! Whatever was inside such a place would surely be legendary. Even other Demigods would seek to explore the tombs of ancient Demigods.

Who knew? Perhaps one could even find a path toward godhood within.

However, the White Whale did not explain further and continued looking through the rest of the information her Shade had gathered. There wasn't anything particularly noteworthy.

Except that it seemed the dragon egg had actually hatched inside the palace where the auction was held. Of course, Daniel had taken away all the broken eggshells, but somehow, the Shade had managed to discover this.

As for where the newly-born dragon hatchling was, it had most likely been taken away by that dragon. After all, there was no way it would abandon its child.

She set the sheets aside and cast her gaze upon these useless fools.

"We need to resolve the matter of succession as soon as possible. All the superpowers are choosing their heirs, even holding ceremonies for them, yet we don't even have a single candidate," she said coldly.
