Chapter 16: Chapter 16 - Meeting Selina

Azra had just finished stocking the last shelf for the day and was taking a moment to rest when a new customer walked into the supermarket. The woman was elegantly dressed, her confident posture standing out in the casual setting. Azra couldn't help but notice her graceful manner as she moved toward the aisles.

The woman looked around for a moment before locking eyes with Azra. There was a brief moment of recognition, though Azra wasn't sure why. She hadn't seen this woman before, but something about her seemed vaguely familiar.

The woman approached Azra, a friendly smile gracing her face. "Hi," she greeted warmly. "Are you Azra?"

Azra blinked, slightly caught off guard. "Yes, I am," she said, offering a polite smile. "And you are?"

"I'm Selina," the woman replied. "Yuzarsif's sister."

Azra's eyes widened in surprise. Yuzarsif's sister? She hadn't expected to meet her in a place like this. She was briefly taken aback, but quickly regained her composure. "Ah, Yuzarsif's sister," she repeated, more to herself than to Selina. "It's nice to meet you."

Selina smiled knowingly. "Yuzarsif talks about you often." She paused, her smile softening as if weighing her next words. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything important. I just thought I'd stop by and say hello."

Azra felt a bit of tension in her shoulders, unsure of what to say next. "Oh, no. It's fine. I'm just finishing up for the day," she said, trying to keep things casual. "I didn't know he had mentioned me to you."

Selina raised an eyebrow slightly, her gaze warm yet direct. "He has... a bit. He seems to think you're quite an interesting person. But I suppose you already know how persistent he can be."

Azra couldn't help but let out a small, dry laugh. "Yes, I've noticed that." She paused, then added, "He's a bit... overwhelming at times."

Selina chuckled, nodding in agreement. "That sounds like him. But I'll admit, he doesn't usually get so invested in someone. So, that says something."

Azra felt a curious mix of emotions—surprise, curiosity, and a little bit of nervousness. She wasn't used to hearing such things about Yuzarsif. Of course, she knew he was persistent, but hearing it from his sister was something else entirely.

Selina continued, "Anyway, I was wondering if you'd be interested in having a coffee with me sometime. I know we've just met, but I think it would be nice to get to know you better. I've heard a lot about you, and I'd like to talk more about you and my brother."

Azra blinked in surprise. "Coffee?" she asked, slightly taken aback by the sudden invitation. "Well, I—"

Selina smiled, clearly sensing Azra's hesitation but not taking offense. "I can understand if it's a bit sudden. I just think it would be nice, that's all. No pressure."

Azra thought for a moment, then nodded slowly. "Sure. I'd like that." It was an unexpected invitation, but Azra figured there was no harm in accepting. After all, getting to know more about Yuzarsif's family wasn't the worst idea.

Selina's smile widened. "Great! Let's exchange numbers. I'll reach out to set something up."

Azra took out her phone, and the two of them exchanged contact information. After a few moments, Selina gave her a friendly wave.

"I'll let you get back to work now, but I'll be in touch soon. It was nice meeting you, Azra," she said warmly before turning to leave.

Azra watched her go, still processing the conversation. She hadn't expected to meet Yuzarsif's sister today, let alone be invited for coffee. A part of her was curious—what did Selina think of her brother's sudden interest in her? Was there more to Yuzarsif than she had initially thought?

As she finished up her work for the day, Azra couldn't help but wonder what this new connection meant. Perhaps getting to know Selina better would shed more light on who Yuzarsif truly was—beyond the confident and persistent man she had encountered.
