The footsteps grew closer, louder, until even a white-robed elder on the platform glanced over, focusing his gaze in the same direction.

"Yeah, Cousin Mo Yu is finally here," replied the black-robed young man beside her, smiling as well.

The members of Pan Gate standing behind them, seeing how much attention their leader and Xun'er gave Mo Yu, also focused on him, curious to see what kind of person he was.

"This guy… always causing a scene whenever he appears. Such a show-off. But why have his eyes turned silver…?" Xiao Yu's once-calm heart began to beat faster as she stared at the familiar yet changed figure.

"Yu'er, is that your fiancé? Not bad-looking, I must say," teased a group of girls from the Moon Sect standing around Xiao Yu, their eyes sparkling with curiosity as they eyed Mo Yu's figure.

"Haha, looks aren't everything here. In the Jia Nan Academy, strength is what counts," another girl remarked with a laugh.

"I heard that the White Gang's leader specifically requested a Strong List student from his faction to challenge Yu'er's fiancé, just to make things difficult," a delicate-looking girl chimed in hesitantly.

Xiao Yu frowned slightly, then looked at the calm figure in the plaza and said confidently, "It doesn't matter. I believe in him."

"That's the famous Mo Yu, isn't it?" Bai Cheng, the leader of the White Gang, observed the silver-eyed youth with mild interest. Bai Cheng, who prided himself on his high standards, hadn't expected Xiao Yu's fiancé to exude such a distinguished aura.

"He seems steady enough. Perhaps he has some skill, but that's all," Bai Cheng remarked, raising an eyebrow at Mo Yu, who remained calm despite the crowd.

"Don't worry, leader. I'll teach this brat a lesson!" said Fu Ao, a strong youth standing beside Bai Cheng, smirking.

"Good. I spent a hundred Fire Energy to arrange this match. Crush him, and I'll reward you with two hundred Fire Energy," Bai Cheng promised.

"Thank you, leader." Fu Ao licked his lips eagerly, looking at Mo Yu as if he were prey.

In the plaza, Mo Yu adjusted his gaze, focusing on an elderly figure standing at the center.

"Hoho, Hu, is this the Outer Academy student planning to challenge a Strong List member? It's been years since we've seen anything like this," the white-haired elder said with a smile, glancing over at Hu Qian.

"Indeed. His name is Mo Yu," Hu Qian replied with a smile before gesturing to the elder and saying, "This is Elder Su, who will be presiding over the assessment today."

"Mo Yu, huh..." Elder Su looked Mo Yu up and down with a slight nod. "Impressive courage for someone so young and who hasn't even trained in the Inner Academy. Let's see if you can break this academy record."

"Maybe he will surprise us," Hu Qian chuckled.

As they spoke, Fu Ao stepped onto the field.

You're allowed to request a different opponent from the Strong List if you prefer, maybe a One-Star Dou Ling."

"That won't be necessary. He'll do just fine," Mo Yu replied calmly.

"Alright, then, let's get started!" said Hu Qian with a smile.

"Very well." Elder Su waved his hand, and his booming voice echoed across the plaza, "Outer Academy student Mo Yu challenges Inner Academy student Fu Ao! The match begins!"

With that, Elder Su and Hu Qian leaped off the field, leaving the space for Mo Yu and Fu Ao.

As the two prepared to clash, the surrounding students instinctively stepped back. They had heard many things about Mo Yu and were eager to judge his strength for themselves.

"Do you think Mo Yu can hold his own against Fu Ao? If he loses, it'll be quite a humiliation."

With that, Mo Yu's silver eyes flashed, and thirty thunder patterns lit up. His right fist clenched, emitting a piercing sound from the intense energy!

Feeling the terrifying and overwhelming energy suddenly radiating from Mo Yu, Fu Ao's pupils contracted, and finally, a trace of fear flashed across his face!
