Chapter 54: Can I leave quietly?
"He's attacking me, sir!" Kaya shouted, pushing me away with all his strength to get up from the awkward position we were in. His face contorted with rage and pain, and he lunged toward me, aiming to attack.
I stood up quickly, raising my hands in a false gesture of peace. "Can I leave quietly? Without causing any more trouble?"
The commander and Kaya looked at me with a blank stare, then lunged at me at the same time, like two rabid dogs.
They thought they could easily catch me, but they were completely wrong. The room was small and narrow, which worked to my advantage. My hands moved as fast as lightning, blocking Kaya's punch and punching him hard in the chest while I held him. Then I grabbed his head with all my strength and slammed it against the wall behind him with a powerful blow.
I used what I had learned during my years in prison fighting other inmates in confined spaces.
There was a loud crash, like something breaking. Kaya fell to the ground, his nose bleeding profusely.
The commander stepped back, his face showing signs of shock and confusion. I didn't waste a second. I stepped forward and reached out to grab his strange pants.
I pulled him hard and threw him to the ground like a sack of flour. His body was incredibly light, so I knocked him down easily.
He tried to punch me after he fell, but I skillfully dodged the punch by turning to the side, away from his slow punch.
As soon as I turned to the side, I caught a glimpse of Kaya trying to reach his weapon lying on the ground. I immediately realized the danger.
I jumped towards him quickly, pushing off with my feet with tremendous force and putting all my strength into that jump. After all, if he got to his weapon now, my escape plan would fail. I had to take advantage of the small, cramped room to close in on them and make them unable to use their weapons.
"Nira is pregnant!" I shouted loudly, two words I said to Kaya to delay him from raising his weapon, and it worked!
Kaya was a second late in raising his weapon, but that second was enough for me to reach him in this confined space.
I punched him in the face with my fist, this punch was stronger than the previous one, and I heard the sound of his teeth breaking.
"Stop, you rebel!" the commander shouted, writhing on the ground trying to stand up, but his shout was too late. I quickly reached out and picked up the long weapon lying next to Kaya.
I turned around as fast as lightning and pointed the weapon at the commander. "Stop!" I said in a sharp voice.
The commander completely ignored me and lunged toward me, trying to punch me fiercely.
It seemed like a completely unexpected attack. After all, I was the one with the weapon now. Wasn't he afraid that I would use it against him, or was he assuming that I wouldn't dare use it for fear of alerting the soldiers outside?
However, his assumption was only partially correct. I didn't use the gun to shoot. I skillfully dodged his punch, then pushed his thin body forcefully against the wall.
The back of his head hit the wall, and I stepped forward and kicked him hard in the stomach, aiming for a sensitive area between his thighs.
"K... Kook!" The commander coughed up blood, writhing in pain, clutching his stomach with his trembling hands.
He fell to his knees, his face pale, as if he were about to collapse.
"Don't try to move, commander!" I said in a sharp voice, then pressed the gun in my hand hard against his cheek, as if to assert my control. "I'm in charge now."
