Comprehension Ability: Creating the Five Thunders Technique in Reality

Chapter 238: Direct Annihilation_2

"You two are flattering me. Perhaps I'm not that formidable."

With one offhanded statement, Dongchuan Ichiro made Matsumoto and Takayama realize that the Dongchuan Ichiro before them was no longer the child they once knew.

The meaning of Dongchuan Ichiro's words was simple—he wasn't particularly impressive; instead, his brother was simply too incompetent.

Feeling Dongchuan Ichiro's dissatisfaction, Matsumoto and Takayama said nothing more. After all, Dongchuan Tairou was now missing and possibly dead, and there was no reason to do anything pointless over someone who had lost his value.

"So, tell us why you called the two of us here this time?"

Takayama didn't want to waste too much time with this child. In his eyes, Dongchuan Ichiro had never been someone worthy of equal treatment.

Seeing the impatient expression on Takayama's face, Lin Beichen could already guess his thoughts. Dongchuan Ichiro's face showed dissatisfaction.

Though it was fleeting, the samurai standing behind Matsumoto and Takayama clearly noticed. However, without their signal, he remained still.

"There's nothing particularly important. We just want to reclaim something from the Dongchuan Clan."

Though Dongchuan Ichiro wore a smile, his tone gradually became serious.

Matsumoto and Takayama exchanged glances and chuckled, not surprised by this outcome.

They had already guessed Dongchuan Ichiro would bring this up. Being a child who just became the Leader, he would certainly want to prove his capability and worth.

"Kid, I don't know how you became the Leader, but being so reckless will bring you great harm."

Matsumoto's tone was relaxed, but his words were full of threats. Dongchuan Ichiro understood the menace behind them. Before, he would have respected these two big shots.

But when he turned and saw Lin Beichen sitting steadfastly not far behind, looking determinedly at him, his heart strengthened.

"Great harm from the few useless ones behind you?"

Though he knew who stood behind Matsumoto, Dongchuan Ichiro had no fear; rather, he deliberately provoked them.

Knowing he had to show strength or risk losing control over these two old foxes, Dongchuan Ichiro spoke.

As soon as his words fell, a tangible killer intent swept towards him.

Matsumoto and Takayama felt a chill from behind, instantly guessing which hot-tempered samurai had acted without even needing to turn around.

"You'll pay for what you said!"

With a voice cold as death, a shadow sped to stand before Dongchuan Ichiro, stopping the samurai's attack.

"Who are you to obstruct me?"

The one who blocked the samurai was none other than Gale.

Seeing the serious samurai, Gale burst into laughter, bending over in fits of mirth. It was the first time he found something so amusing.

"Do you think you're a piece of crap from a toilet?"

After nearly ten seconds, Gale finally stopped laughing. His voice was still giddy as he spoke.

"Not just blocking you; killing you is just a matter of my mood!"

As he said this, Gale's smile vanished, replaced by a chilling demeanor, akin to a knife in a cold breeze.

The rapid change shocked Matsumoto and others, astonished at Gale's ability to shift expressions, but the most stunned was the samurai facing him.

Though Gale did nothing intimidating, the samurai sensed unparalleled confidence in Gale's words!

This sense of unassailable control couldn't be feigned—unless Gale had immense faith in his strength and a clear understanding of the opponent's power.

"So, you've seen through my strength?"

As he spoke, the samurai reached for his lower back, intending to draw a weapon. Gale knew without looking: a dagger must be hidden there.

"I'd advise against drawing that knife, or you'll die the moment you touch it."

A cold glint flashed in Gale's eyes. Upon hearing Gale's words, the samurai hesitated, a bean-sized drop of sweat rolling down his cheek.

"Why are you just standing there? If you don't dare act, I'll do it for you!"

Suddenly, a contemptuous voice reached everyone's ears. Gale followed the sound and saw the speaker was the Divination Master.

If anyone else spoke this way, Gale would understand, but in Gale's view, the Divination Master here had less power than a fortune teller in Dragon Country.

"If you want to die together with him, I don't mind you two attacking at the same time!"

Gale responded bluntly, showing no consideration for the other party.

Upon hearing Gale's words, the samurai's face turned furious, though he acknowledged his skill wasn't superior to the Divination Master. To be belittled by someone from Dragon Country was too much.

"Die!"

The samurai suddenly drew the dagger from his back, slashing at Gale's neck in a reverse grip. Gale showed no composure; instead, his mouth curled with disdain.

The samurai's movements did not escape Gale's eyes. As the dagger neared Gale, he ducked, swiftly kicking the samurai's chin.

The force sent the samurai flying, shocking everyone present into inactivity.

Sitting nearby, Dongchuan Ichiro smiled excitedly. He knew his legendary bodyguard well, but didn't expect Gale to be this powerful even at sea.

As the samurai floated midair, Gale didn't idle, continuously kicking the samurai's body in a sequence resembling acrobatics.

When the samurai reached his peak height, Gale jumped high, stomping his neck to the ground.

The impact bounced the samurai again, and Gale caught the chance to steal the dagger, throwing it at the Divination Master.

Facing Gale's attack, the Divination Master didn't dodge, letting the dagger fly at him. But just before it struck, it diverted to the wall.

This wasn't due to the Divination Master altering the dagger's direction but because Gale hadn't aimed for vitals from the start.

The Divination Master seemed to understand Gale's intent, stood unmoving.

"It seems we've won this second match!"

Standing aside, Matsumoto and Takayama felt pleased with the scene before them.
