Orario.

The corridor was silent, the only sound being the flames burning on the walls.

Lucius was alone in one of the cells, trapped with shackles inside a barrier that nullified his magic.

He had been there since the previous night, with his eyes closed, not having slept at all. His clothes remained the same, but he didn't seem too tired.

At that moment, the door to the corridor opened, and Lucius waited for the sound of approaching footsteps.

"You only have a few minutes," the voice of a guard was heard as someone approached.

"Lucius…" Riveria's voice echoed as Lucius opened his eyes, seeing the green-haired elf standing there in his cell.

"Riveria…" Lucius said, looking at her.

"Your trial will start soon… I came to see you before that," she said, her tone somewhat hesitant.

"They know we dealt with Evilus, right?" Lucius asked.

"Yes… Ouranos conducted an investigation and concluded that you were on a secret mission under his orders… So things have gotten better for you, but still, many gods are dissatisfied that you brought strange monsters to Orario, not to mention that a level 11 monster appeared," she explained.

"I see… And what do you think will happen to me?" He raised an eyebrow at her.

"I…" She seemed to bite her lip. "I believe you'll be temporarily exiled from Orario… That's what Loki-sama said she thinks will happen to you…" Riveria seemed uneasy about what would unfold.

"So, they plan to give me a mission outside Orario, a rather difficult one, from what I can understand," Lucius commented. Perhaps Ouranos wanted to keep him away from the city to let things cool down. After all, he had destroyed a part of the city, and even though it was out of necessity, it had left many people, mostly the city's poor, without a roof over their heads.

"Yes… But I won't let you face this alone…" she murmured, causing Lucius to look at her in surprise.

"What do you mean…?" he asked.

"Loki-sama… has authorized me to accompany you," she said, leaving him somewhat confused that the goddess who seemed to despise him would allow Riveria to go with him.

"I guess I can feel a bit better with that…" Lucius said, a smile breaking across his face.

"…" Riveria's lips curved slightly as well before the door to the entrance opened.

"Time's up. We need to escort the prisoner to the hearing room," Shakti approached, prompting Riveria to take a step back, somewhat worried about Lucius.

Lucius maintained his smile as his cell was opened and Shakti made room for him to exit. She seemed conflicted as she looked at him, while Lucius continued forward, being escorted.

From the prison, they passed through a few more corridors before reaching a large hall, the same place where Ishtar's trial had been held.

'I was the jailer the last time I was here, and now I'm the prisoner… how ironic,' Lucius couldn't help but think as he entered a brightly lit room with a large audience made up of all the gods of Orario.

All eyes turned to Lucius, each god having a different expression upon seeing him. After all, every god in the city had made him their focal point. There were looks of caution, anger, disdain, neutrality, and even curiosity, relief, and compassion.

Lucius kept walking until his gaze landed on Ouranos himself, stepping out of his seat—typically positioned underground—to preside over this hearing.

The guards led Lucius to a designated spot, a sort of stand where he could address all the gods, while Ouranos stood at another position resembling a judge's seat.

There was a weight in the air, a palpable tension, as Lucius stood there with the guards leaving him shackled, facing all the gods. Yet he kept his head high, eyes fixed on those staring back at him, without fear.

"You could have put some new clothes on him, don't you think? I'm sure this would draw the attention of many of our fellow colleagues to this mortal," Freya was the one who broke the silence.

"..." Lucius raised an eyebrow as his gaze fell upon some of the goddesses present, like Aphrodite, who was eyeing him with desire, and Demeter, who wasn't far behind.

However, his eyes settled on Hestia, standing beside Hephaestus, who was watching him with a cautious and nervous expression. Loki had her eyes closed, staring at him as she would on any occasion. Miach, Takemikazuchi, and Hermes were also looking at him, though Hermes, ever the manipulator, seemed genuinely concerned like the others.

Just when everything seemed ready to begin, a new presence entered the chamber, causing surprise in Lucius and many of the gods. After all, the blue-haired archer had not announced her return or presence in Orario for quite some time following her mission. Artemis entered and chose an empty spot, and as Lucius and other gods watched her, she only fixed her neutral gaze on Lucius.

"Well… with this, I believe we can begin," Ouranos' voice was heard, and now it was just Lucius and the gods in the hall. Everyone's attention shifted, and any idle gossip between them ceased.

"All those present are here for the hearing of Lucius Drakenar, accused of crimes against the city of Orario and its citizens," Ouranos continued, his voice echoing with strength and authority.

"Lucius Drakenar," he continued, his tone more solemn, turning his attention to Lucius. "You are here to answer the accusations of mass destruction, conspiracy with monstrous entities, and disregard for the established order in Orario." His tone remained neutral, merely stating the charges.

Silence reclaimed the hall, and Lucius took a deep breath before speaking. "Alright. I'm here to answer all your questions," he declared.

Lucius' words stirred a small murmur among the gods.

"Very well. This court will hear witnesses and consider all evidence before reaching a decision. Let's begin with the first witness," Ouranos announced, as Shakti, the highest law enforcement authority in Orario, stepped into the room.

"My name is Shakti, captain of the Ganesha familia. I am here to report everything we witnessed last night," she began, detailing the incidents of finding dead bodies in the black market, the commotion in another part of the city that led to a massive fight in the slums among adventurers. When they arrived at the scene, there were only bodies, dozens of them being moved to prison after discovering the crimes listed in their records. The third incident was an explosion in the middle of the city, while the Dionysus familia was attacked by someone.

Shakti explained that she found the two perpetrators and pursued them into the dungeon, but they had vanished beyond her reach. The investigation continued as Orario's major forces headed to the destroyed mansion of Dionysus. A guild report accused Dionysus of being involved with Evilus, which triggered strange occurrences in Orario.

It started with small tremors and explosive sounds coming from somewhere until larger impacts began, followed by reports of monsters appearing in the slums.

When they arrived at the location, Lucius was among them, protecting a monster while more and more monsters appeared wearing armor. A fight broke out, leading to the final battle where the Juggernaut appeared, and Lucius destroyed almost the entire slum to kill it.

She finished, and all eyes turned back to Lucius. "You caused the other problems, didn't you?" one of the gods pointed at him.

Lucius looked towards Ouranos, silently asking if he could respond, and the god nodded.

"Yes… as you already know, I am the masked figure you know as Lord Sith," he admitted. There was no point in staying silent when there was evidence and witnesses pointing to him. He had lost his mask and had to use all his powers in the battle against Evilus.

As soon as he spoke, the gods began to murmur once more. "So, you're causing chaos as a criminal against the city?" another god raised the question.

"Did you not hear that he mentioned fighting against Evilus members, you fool?!" Hestia shouted, pointing angrily at that god.

"Hestia is right, despite the chaos he caused, he fought against Evilus, the organization that had rooted itself in Orario like a plague..." Demeter was the one who spoke, and many gods seemed to agree with her.

"Still..." The god who had spoken earlier muttered, but he couldn't say anything further.

"In any case... why don't we hear Lucius Drakenar's testimony about everything that happened?" Hermes suggested, and everyone turned their attention back to Lucius, expecting his response.

Lucius sighed and nodded. "Alright, I've been chasing Evilus for some time. But that night, I began to take action and went to the black market, drawing out some members to gather information. They were forced to come out and search for us, which led us to the first hideout..." Lucius began to recount the events until he had to flee to the dungeon.

"What... there was such a place connecting the surface to Rivira all this time beneath us?!" It was the first time some had heard of Knossos.

"Yes... as I said, I knew Dionysus was part of Evilus and went after the key, which is why I launched an attack and made sure to obtain evidence to incriminate him," Lucius stated.

"Please, continue," Ouranos urged, and Lucius proceeded, explaining how he regrouped in Rivira with his familia members and found new allies, the Xenos. The gods listened to this revelation, and although they wanted to know more about the Xenos, as it remained a mystery, they allowed the story to continue, intending to ask later.

Lucius spoke of the war he had to fight, emerging victorious in the end but needing to help a Xenos after it lost control. When the war began, he couldn't mention that the dungeon might have sensed the energy of a blessing made by a god even more powerful than those present, so he withheld that information and said he didn't know how the Juggernaut had been summoned.

"Ouranos... even so, he acted on his own..." a goddess accused.

"He did not act on his own," Ouranos raised his voice. "I put him after Evilus. He acted as a special agent for me after I made an agreement with Hestia." His revelation created a wave of surprise among most of the gods. None of them knew about this, except for a select few.

"You should have informed us!" Another god exclaimed.

"You know this was a secret operation, don't you...? If he had told you all, we would never have taken down the entire Evilus," Lucius spoke, as if the god was an idiot.

"Who are you to speak like that?!" the god retorted, displeased with Lucius' response.

"Lucius Drakenar, known as the Mage King and the one who practically eradicated all of Evilus, something you all have been trying to do for years," Lucius replied with a dangerous tone, staring at the god without fear.

The god appeared intimidated, furrowing his brow. He could protest, but Lucius was responsible for the downfall of several gods in recent months.

"Fufufu. How amusing, why do things always get more interesting in your presence..." Freya commented with a smile before continuing. "In any case... he's right, he managed to accomplish in one night what we took years to attempt and failed at," she admitted, even though she wanted to emphasize Lucius' innocence.

"May I ask a question... You mentioned that you lured out Evilus, how did you do that?" another goddess inquired.

Lucius closed his eyes before looking seriously at everyone. "I uttered the following words in the black market: Neteru Netjer Isfet."
