Danmachi- Merchant of Orario

The day was only half over after Domnus sold the Gladius. Meaning that there was more time for him to sell things, which also meant that there was more time for people to annoy him.

"Helo!" an unfortunately familiar voice called out to Domnus.

"I've told you many times," Domnus replied, "I'm not selling you the die," he told Loki.

"Then may I look at other items," Loki asked, "Like the Deck of Many Things?" she said.

Loki had heard from one of her familia members of that he had an item similar to the Infinity Die, so if she could see how the deck works, she could get a better understanding of the die.

"Well, if you're feeling lucky," Domnus mumbled reaching into his bag, "Twenty thousand valis per pull," head said showing the old deck to Loki.

"Twenty thousand?" she asked, "Seems cheap for something with a random effect," she said.

"It's not completely random," Domnus cleared up, "I may not know all of them, but I have been told it can't end the world," he told her.

"If it's not random, can you tell me the bad things that happen if I draw?" she asked wanting to know her odds.

"I don't know all the outcomes, but I know two bad ones," Domnus answered, "Both are death," he then clarified.

"Like instant death?" Loki replied.

"One of them yes," Domnus responded.

"Tempting death was never my thing, so I'll hold out on drawing for now," Loki replied not wanting to die.

"Then why do you want the Infinity Die?" Domnus asked, "It can do a lot worse than death," Domnus said.

"I don't want to roll the die," Loki responded offended, "I want to have the dice because if its looks!" she said.

"That's not a good enough reason for me to sell you the die," Domnus told Loki.

"Then what would be a good enough reason?" she then asked.

"I don't know if there is one," Domnus replied.

"One day," she said turning around, "I'll get that die, or even find out where you got it from," Loki declared, "Even if I have to wait for the day that you are dying," Loki said.

"The day I die I will be so far away that you will never be able to find me," Domnus said.

"We'll see!" Loki said leaving.

And again, Domnus was alone. It was rather calming for him; it was nice to be with other people but sometimes it's

"EXCUSE ME," a loud man yelled sliding over to Domnus, 'Are YOU the stupendously sublime salesman my eager ears have heard just SO much about," he said putting a hand on Domnus's stand.

"How many people have been talking about me?" Domnus wondered.

"Three," the man responds.

"Three?" Domnus says, "Like three people?" Domnus asked.

"Anyways, I have been LOOKING for someone like you," the man said pointing at Domnus.

"Someone like me?" Domnus repeated confused.

"Absolutely my new fortunate ferocious friend," the man responds with a smile, "And do I have a DELICOUS deal for you!" he said.

"Interesting," Domnus said wondering what the man could give him.

"SO, I have a MARVELOUS market down that sophisticated street," the man said pointing down a street behind him while still facing Domnus.

"What do you sell?" Domnus asked.

"And I had a TERRIFIC thought!" he yelled out ignoring Domnus, "What if I put attractive ADDVERTISMENT onto other people's shops!" the man proudly proclaimed.

"You want to advertise on my stand for whatever you are selling?" Domnus asked for clarification.

"Absolutely my FABULOUS friend!" he replied.

"I'm not going to say anything about it until I know what you are selling," Domnus responded.

"Well, if you MUST know," the man said, "I sell these WONDERFUL items for any to use! I'll give you a SALIENT sample of one of my items," he said putting his item down on Domnus's table.

"This," Domnus said in response, "This is a stick," he told the man.

"PLEASE don't get your stock in a twist," the man said, "This is not ordinary stick, this is a WAVY weapon of mass destruction," he said waving his hand over the stick.

"I don't know what you're trying to do with this," Domnus said pointing at the stick, "But personally I don't want anything to do with it.

"Are you SURE?" the man asked, "I can pay you MAJESTIC money!" he said slamming his hand down.

"How much money?" Domnus asked.

For a moment, Domnus and the man looked at each other. Not a word was passed between them for a few seconds, before the man interrupted the silence.

"Three," the man said once more.

"Three what?" Domnus asked.

"WELL, if you won't take my delicious deals," the man said taking his hand off Domnus's stand, "I'll just have to find another PERFECT person to hold my advertisements," the man said taking off without another word.

"But I didn't say no?" Domnus tried to say before the man left.

But the time it took Domnus to make a rational thought was too long compared to the man's actions.

While trying to think about what just happened, Domnus thought that the idea of advertising his shop wasn't a bad one.

He could already see it. Random posters strewn about in the food market, and adventurers seeing it and coming over to his stand to buy things.

While it would probably only attract a few more customers, with Domnus still around two million valis in debt he thought it was at least helpful idea.

And if it backfired and caused a few less people to stop coming to his shop because his posters annoyed them too much then it wouldn't be too big of a loss.

While thinking about what his posters would look like, someone tried to be smart.

They didn't like Domus too much, especially after he cut off the man's arm, ruining his career.

So, he rounded up all of his money he got while he was still working as an adventurer and hired a bunch of people to go and beat up Domnus.

All of them were of course from the Soma familia, they were the easiest to bribe with about any amount of money.

That may have also meant that their lips were the least sealed when it comes to secrets because they could just be paid to tell any secret, but that was not a thought going through the one-armed man's head.

He just wanted to get his revenge on Domnus and ruin his life.

So, it's truly a shame what happened to the group when they tried to attack Domnus.
