"Dad… Dad!"

In the AF timeline, Goku stood before his companions, still in his childlike form after defeating the One-Star Dragon. His appearance had not reverted, leaving him with the youthful look he had retained for years.

AF Timeline Goku nodded with a smile, his voice carrying his usual warmth. "Thank you, Goten. You're the Goten from another timeline, right?"

"Um!" Goten replied with a nod.

"Really? That explains why you're so strong—stronger than me!" Goku said with a chuckle.

Just then, a voice called out from the distance, filled with emotion. "Grandpa!"

Goten turned toward the source and saw a girl with twin ponytails running toward them. It was Pan, now grown up, her features strikingly similar to her mother, Videl. Her dark eyes carried the same determination that Goten remembered.

"Pan!" AF Timeline Goku exclaimed, his face lighting up as Pan approached.

Pan, her face streaked with tears, threw her arms around her grandfather. "Grandpa, you're back! Please don't leave us again, okay?"

"Ok," Goku replied, gently wiping her tears away. "I won't leave again."

"Okay, Pan, stop crying," Goku added with a smile.

Pan nodded, wiping her face as she glanced at Goten. "Grandpa, who is this?"

"He's Goten—but from another timeline. He's much stronger than your Uncle Goten!" Goku explained.

At that, the AF Timeline Goten, standing nearby, scratched his head in embarrassment as his cheeks turned red.

"Oh!" Pan said, her eyes lighting up with recognition. "So this is Uncle Goten from when he was younger! I thought he looked familiar."

Pan then turned to Goku, her curiosity piqued. "But Grandpa, how did he end up in our timeline?"

Goku shrugged. "I don't know. You'll have to ask him!"

"By the way, Grandpa," Pan said with mock annoyance, "why do you still look like a kid?"

"I didn't ask the dragon to change me back," Goku admitted, scratching the back of his head. "So, I'm staying like this."

"I see…" Pan muttered before turning back to Goten. "Uncle Goten, how exactly did you get here?"

"I just came for fun. Do you believe me?" Goten replied with a mischievous grin.

"I don't believe it!" Pan shot back, shaking her head.

Goten chuckled before turning to the AF Timeline Goten. "Since everything is fine now, I think I should head back."

"Are you leaving already?" AF Timeline Trunks asked.

Before Pan could bombard him with more questions, Goten placed two fingers on his forehead and disappeared in a flash, teleporting away from the Kaioshin Realm.

With Goku resurrected, the group's attention shifted to him. His return brought immense joy to everyone, especially Chi-Chi and the rest of the family. Meanwhile, the restored Dragon Balls were sealed away in the heavens, only to be used in cases of absolute necessity.

Main Timeline

Goten reappeared in his own timeline, arriving home just in time for lunch. After eating, he was tasked with watching over Pan in the afternoon—a chore he reluctantly accepted.

Over the next year, Goten's routine became a balance of training and dodging Chi-Chi's persistent efforts to send him to school. Despite her demands, Goten continually found excuses to avoid studying in West City.

However, Chi-Chi was unwavering. Her firm belief that education was essential, even for a fighter like Goten, stemmed from her competitive spirit and pride. For Chi-Chi, success wasn't about wealth—something easily obtained with a wish from the Dragon Balls—but about effort and discipline.

"Gohan started school at seventeen," Chi-Chi would remind him repeatedly. "You're no exception!"

Left with no choice, Goten finally agreed to attend school when he turned seventeen. To make the most of his remaining three years, Goten set a personal goal: he would push himself to achieve Super Saiyan 7 before starting school.

West City: Krillin's Family

Meanwhile, Marron, Krillin's daughter, heard about Goten's plans to attend high school in three years. Inspired, she began studying diligently, determined to skip ahead and join him. Her commitment grew as she prepared to advance three grades within the same timeframe.

Universe 7: Destruction God Realm

In the realm of the gods, a year of training under Whis had significantly improved Broly's control over his power. Without succumbing to rage, Broly could now channel his strength effectively, achieving a draw against Goku during their sparring sessions.

"Broly, do you want to become the next God of Destruction?" Beerus asked one day, his golden eyes narrowing as he assessed Broly's progress.

"The God of Destruction?" Broly repeated, his brow furrowing in thought.

"Yes," Beerus said, his tone even. "As the God of Destruction, the entire Seventh Universe would be under your control."

Broly hesitated, unsure of whether he wanted such responsibility. His hesitation irked Beerus, who had already been turned down by both Goku and Vegeta in the past.
