DBZ Goten : Become Stronger By Defeating Your Opponent

Chapter 189: Chapter 189: High School

"Sister!" Kale yelled, concern evident in her voice as she watched Caulifla crash into the mountain.

"It hurts, it hurts!" Caulifla groaned as the dust began to settle. A moment later, she climbed out of the debris, looking bruised but otherwise unharmed.

Kale sighed in relief. "Thank goodness you're okay!"

Caulifla brushed herself off and turned to Goten, grinning. "How about we keep fighting?"

Goten chuckled. "Are you sure? You're already pretty beat up."

Caulifla shook her head. "No way. Your strength is ridiculous. I'll admit defeat this time!"

Goten smiled. "Fair enough."

As the tension eased, Caulifla's expression brightened. "Hey, Goten, do you know Ultra Instinct?"

"Ultra Instinct?" Goten echoed. "Why do you ask?"

"I heard it's some amazing technique! Can you teach me how to use it?"

Goten shook his head. "I wish I could, but Ultra Instinct isn't something you can just learn. It's a state of being—a realm you have to comprehend on your own."

"A realm?" Caulifla asked, tilting her head.

"Yeah. Ultra Instinct is about letting your body react on its own, without thinking. It's incredibly hard to achieve. Even Lord Champa can't do it."

Caulifla frowned, processing his explanation. "So... my body has to act on instinct without my brain getting in the way?"

"Exactly," Goten said. "If you manage to master it, your reaction speed and power increase dramatically."

"Wow... That sounds amazing, but really tough!"

"It is. If it were easy, every God of Destruction would have mastered it by now," Goten replied.

Caulifla nodded, a spark of determination in her eyes. "What about now? Are you heading back to Universe 6?"

"No way!" she said with a grin. "Kale and I plan to stick around for a while. We want to try more of Earth's delicious food!"

"Where are you planning to stay?" Goten asked.

"Well, can't we stay at your house?"

Goten froze. He could already imagine Chi-Chi's reaction if he brought them home. "That... wouldn't be the best idea."

Caulifla frowned. "What about your dad?"

"He's training on Lord Beerus's planet," Goten explained.

Caulifla clapped her hands together. "Alright then! Kale and I will try some Earth delicacies first and figure things out from there."

"Do you have any money?" Goten asked.

Caulifla blinked. "Uh... no. I didn't think we'd need any!" She looked sheepish. "How about you lend me some? I'll pay you back next time we meet."

"Next time?" Goten muttered under his breath. "Who knows when that'll be..."

He sighed. "Forget it. I'll take you to Trunks' house. His family is the richest on Earth. If you want to eat, just tell him."

Caulifla's eyes lit up. "Really? That's awesome! Lead the way!"

"Alright, put your hands on my back," Goten said, preparing to teleport.

West City, Bulma's House

In the backyard, Trunks was playing with his little sister, Bulla, when three figures suddenly appeared behind him.

"Goten!" Trunks called, turning to see his friend.

"Hey, Trunks," Goten said, nodding.

Trunks glanced at Caulifla and Kale. "Caulifla, we meet again."

"Hi, Trunks!" Caulifla greeted with a smile.

"What brings you to my house this time?" Trunks asked.

"They wanted to try Earth's food," Goten explained. "I figured it'd be easier to order from your place, so I brought them here."

"Got it," Trunks said, pulling out his phone. "What do you want to eat?"

"I don't know," Caulifla replied. "Just order whatever tastes good!"

"Alright," Trunks said, quickly placing an order for a variety of dishes.

As they waited, Caulifla crouched down to Bulla's level and smiled. "Hey there! What's your name?"

Bulla clung to Trunks' leg, her wide eyes full of curiosity but shyness keeping her silent.

"She's still learning how to talk," Trunks explained.

"She's a Saiyan, right?" Caulifla asked, tilting her head.

"Yeah," Trunks confirmed.

"And you're a Saiyan too?"

"Of course."

"So why didn't you join the Tournament of Power?"

"Uh..." Trunks looked away, feeling slightly embarrassed.

Caulifla smirked, but her teasing was interrupted when the food arrived. The large table in the dining room was soon piled high with a variety of Earth's finest dishes.

"Wow! This all looks amazing!" Caulifla exclaimed, practically drooling.

"Go ahead," Trunks said.

Caulifla wasted no time, diving into the feast with gusto. She ate with an enthusiasm that reminded Trunks of Goku.

"Goten, Trunks, you're eating too, right?" she said between bites.

"Sure," Goten said, picking up a plate.

Trunks followed suit, though he couldn't help but marvel at Caulifla's appetite.

Half an hour later, Caulifla leaned back in her chair, patting her stomach contentedly. "That was incredible! Earth's food really is the best."

Goten chuckled. "Glad you liked it."

Caulifla stood and stretched. "Well, I guess it's time for Kale and me to head back. We'll definitely visit again!"

"You're welcome anytime," Goten said.

Turning to Trunks, Caulifla added, "Next time, I'm sparring with you!"

"Alright," Trunks said with a small smile.

Goten teleported the two Saiyans to the Kaioshin Realm, where Supreme Kai Shin helped them return to Universe 6.

Time Skip: A Year Later

Over the next year, Goten's strength grew significantly. Despite his love for training, he couldn't escape one inevitable milestone—high school.

In a few months, Goten would start attending Orange Star High School, the same school his brother, Gohan, once attended.

At Mount Paozu, Goten lay on a patch of grass, gazing at the sky. "The strongest guy in the universe, and I still have to go to school," he muttered.

Just then, a figure descended from the sky. It was Marron.

Now almost fourteen, Marron had grown into a beautiful young woman. Her resemblance to her mother, Android 18, was uncanny.

"Marron!" Goten said, sitting up.

"Hey, Brother Goten!" Marron replied cheerfully.

Goten nodded. "What brings you here?"

"We're starting high school soon. Are you ready for Orange Star High?" Marron asked.

"Yeah, but studying is so boring," Goten said, sighing.

Marron giggled. "What do you want to do, then?"

"I want to be a martial artist!"

"My dad wanted to be a martial artist too," Marron said, smiling. "But now he's a traffic cop!"
