Chapter 2: batman

{Guys, sometimes there might be mistakes. I'm aware, but I can't fix them. This story is just a side project—I don't have much time since I'm in the military.}

Felix quickly started putting on his clothes. Looking at the mirror, he saw a handsome yet simple young man staring back at him.

With black hair, blue eyes, a height of 180 cm, and a slightly muscular build, Felix's physique was normal for a 16-year-old.

Anyway, as soon as he finished dressing, Felix left the house.

Stepping onto the street, he sighed. He was in Gotham, which, for him, was nothing less than a death sentence.

The air was gloomy, the buildings were towering, and the Wayne Tower was visible from everywhere in the city.

For now, Felix's plan was simple: make money and establish his place in this world.

He had a particular location in mind for this—The Continental Hotel.

Yes, it existed in this world, and it had branches everywhere.

But there was a problem—gold coins were required.

And there was only one way to solve this issue.

It was risky, but guess what?

Felix didn't care!

Now, he just had to wait until nightfall to carry out his plan.

He opened his inventory and pulled out his Deathstroke set—it was perfect for him.

He strapped Murasame onto his back, holstered two Beretta pistols on his left and right sides, and made sure everything was in place.

When he first got the Deathstroke set, Felix had repainted it—all the orange parts were now blood red.

Satisfied that he was ready, he waited.

For what, you ask?

There was always something happening at Gotham's docks.

Tonight's event?

Two-Face was going to pay a visit.

Felix had obtained this information from Gotham's back alleys.

(He had "persuaded" people—by threatening them.)

But that wasn't important. What mattered was getting to Two-Face.

And then, his target arrived—Two-Face entered the docks.

Felix, wasting no time, used the containers as cover and slowly approached.

He had brought an extra silenced pistol just in case.

With each calculated step, his stealth improved—his technique refined.

He was only 100 meters away from Two-Face when...

A noise.

It came from above the containers.

Felix discreetly climbed up and, just in time, witnessed Batman silently taking down Two-Face's men.

"Damn… he's sending them straight to the ICU."

But then, Batman turned his head—and saw Felix.

With caution in his voice, Batman spoke:

"You're not Deathstroke. Who are you?"

Felix calmly replied:

"Call me Bloodhound."

Batman's expression hardened.

"Alright… then why are you here?"

Felix smirked.

"Trade. I need a gold coin. Give me one, and I'll help you. Or, I can stop you here and take it from Two-Face instead. I'm sure you have some—at least from the criminals you confiscate from."

Batman said nothing.

He simply tossed two gold coins toward Felix.

Felix caught both.

Batman raised two fingers and looked straight into Felix's eyes.

"Bloodhound. The first coin is for your help. The second… is for not killing anyone. Deal?"

Felix walked up to Batman, stood before him, and extended his hand.

"We have a deal."

This was unexpected.

Felix never thought he'd interact with Batman this soon.

Together, Felix and Batman neutralized all of Two-Face's men.

Now, Felix was staring at Two-Face… then at Batman… and back again.

Then, Felix asked Batman:

"Can I grab a few Batarangs? Y'know, for non-lethal combat."

Batman simply nodded.

He was too focused on capturing Two-Face to care.

Without a word, Felix ran across the containers and flipped straight into the center of Two-Face and his remaining men.

Immediately, he pointed his pistol at Two-Face.

But the villain raised his hands.

"What the hell are you? Deathstroke's apprentice?"

Felix was about to snap at him when—

A smoke bomb went off!

Two-Face tried to escape, but Felix swiftly pulled out two Batarangs and threw them through the smoke.

One struck his right leg, the other his left leg.

But it wasn't over. His men were still standing.

Gunfire erupted.

Felix charged forward at full speed, grabbing the closest thug.

He immediately slammed his fist onto the guy's gun hand, disarming him before delivering a clean punch to the face.

Another thug aimed at Felix, but before he could shoot—

Batman drop-kicked him.

A sickening crack echoed.

That was definitely a broken bone.

Meanwhile, Two-Face was crawling away, desperate.

It was useless.

He pulled out a gun and fired at Bloodhound.

The bullet bounced off his back armor.

Felix slowly turned around and drew his own gun.

He was ready to pull the trigger—but then he remembered the deal with Batman.

So instead, Felix rushed at Two-Face, dodged low, and pressed the gun against his forehead.

Panicked, Two-Face stammered:

"I—I surrender!"

Batman watched, already having knocked out the last thug.

Bloodhound hesitated for a moment.

Then, as expected, he reached down and pulled out the Batarangs from Two-Face's legs.

He pocketed them and knocked Two-Face unconscious.

In total, six criminals lay knocked out.

Including Two-Face.

Batman hoisted Two-Face over his shoulder.

"Deal's complete. Though… some of these men are seriously injured."

Bloodhound shrugged.

"Trivial matters, Bat. If we didn't have a deal, they'd all be dead already."

Batman didn't like that answer.

But he only grunted in response.

Without another word, he fired his grapple gun and disappeared into the night.

Felix let out a deep sigh.

A lot had happened.

Now, he could finally head to the Continental and register as a mercenary.

But for now… he was exhausted.

And just like that—Felix vanished into the night.

1 Hour Later…

Felix lay in bed.

Beside him, a $100 bill.

He fed it into the system.

[Gacha Coin: 100]

[Assimilation: Deathstroke 40%]

[Inventory: Jedi Saber, Hestia's Underwear, Deathstroke Set]

[Ding! 10 Gacha used!]

Felix knelt down.

"Dear RNG God, bless me with infinite luck. Amen."

The Gacha spun.

You obtained:

1 ton of TNT

5 Continental Gold Coins

Agent 47 Template (Hitman)

Empty

Toji Fushiguro Template (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Empty

Empty

Weakness Removal Card

Empty

Gáe Bolg (Fate)

"Holy shit, I hit the jackpot!"

The system wanted him to be a mercenary.

Felix used the Weakness Removal Card on Toji's template.

Now, Toji no longer had his Heavenly Restriction.

And yet, his raw power remained unchanged.

Felix decided to integrate it.

[Assimilation: Deathstroke 40%]

[Assimilation: Agent 47 30%]

[Assimilation: Toji Fushiguro 5%]

A surge of raw power erupted within him.

His mind was flooded with knowledge.

Agent 47's training.

Toji's past and struggles.

And something else.

He could feel Cursed Energy.

It was… strange.

But it enhanced his raw strength.

Felix then pulled out Gáe Bolg.

Feeling its immense power, he smirked and stored it back in his inventory.

Then, he whispered a prayer:

"Thank you, RNG God, for your blessings."

What a night.

Tomorrow's destination was clear.

Continental, here I come.

{Don't forget to send power stones to motivate me and make a comment. }
