Destroying My Own World

Chapter 221: First move.

"Uriel went and met Lucifer a moment ago, and then she went to meet Sasha. I don't know what she's planning, but I believe what she's doing right now is because she's down here under The Lord's order," Amaryllis reported after she felt Uriel's presence when she entered Earth. "What are you going to do? If she met both of them, she might be helping them," Amaryllis asked.

Mykel thought about the purpose of Uriel's visits, as he stared at his bare left hand. He then looked at the others who had been so eager to get into action against the Primordial and Cosmical beings.

"We made a deal with Nal, and she's a valuable asset. If Uriel came to help, I don't think she will come to visit us and will focus on those two," Mykel answered as he put his glove on. "If she's openly going down here and helping those two under The Lord's order, that can only mean one thing. The Angels will soon come down here as well," Mykel pointed out as he looked at the sky.

"The current situation is that we and perhaps half of the Primordial and Cosmical beings are working together. Lucifer and his army must have prepared something after Uriel's visit, and let's think of the worst-case scenario here that she helped him," Elena said as she walked toward the altar. "Sasha, Mara, and Uriel will also prepare something. The rest of the Primordial and Cosmical beings might work with the Gods of Earth, and maybe bring all the remaining Chosen Ones to their side," Sasha added.

"So there are four sides that want to get rid of each other, and soon there will be the fifth, the Archangels and the army of angels. Whoever gets attacked first, the others will try to use that opportunity to get rid of the attacked side as well," Jeanne pointed out as she looked at Aurea and the Demon Princesses who stood behind Mykel.

"Well, Mara is here. Lucifer is here. Nyx is here. The Archangels will be here soon as well, and those four have a common enemy," Aurea said as she looked at Mykel.

"I don't think Lucifer would want to stand side by side with the Angels. It will hurt his pride, and I believe he wouldn't target the same target as the Angels," Luciel pointed out. "Nal and Mykel have the same common enemy which is Mara. Lucifer and Nyx might want to get rid of her first, so that would also be possible," Luciel added as she rubbed her chin as she thought about it.

"We're not going to take sides with Lucifer," Elena said. "We can't kill them first as well because if he and all the Princes of Hell died, our time is up. That's the deal Mykel made with The Lord, to get rid of them in the first place and who knows what will happen to us," Elena continued.

Everyone was gathered around the table and they were thinking about what they should do. Everyone waited for someone to give a suggestion on what they should do and some insight.

"What if we initiate the attack first on Mara? Wouldn't that be the best option we have since some of them might come and join us?" Sven asked as he looked at everyone.

"What makes you think they will attack Mara and not us? Making the first move will be as risky as being attacked because who knows what the others would think. They might stab the attacker from behind knowing the attacker is a big threat to them and that would also give them the opportunity to make an alliance with the attacked side," Rozan asked as he looked at Sven. "This isn't just a battle, this is a mind game as well," Rozan pointed out.

Everyone realized that they couldn't find the right answer or what kind of move they should take. Being idle wasn't the best option as well knowing the Archangels and the army of Angels would be there soon.

"Mykel, what do you think?" Elena asked.

Everyone looked at Mykel because he was the only hope they had, and he had been so quiet that everyone wondered what he would say. They had been relying on him for too long that his suggestion wouldn't only be the best option for them, but it boosted their morale.

"What with the hesitation? Is the training that you all did for nothing?" Mykel asked as he looked at every one of them. "Having you all mature makes you all think more carefully, but what are you all afraid of? As long as Amaryllis is alive, you're invincible," Mykel pointed out. "You have forgotten that you're not like them, you're all different and special. If you die, she will bring you back to life," Mykel continued.

"As long as you show no fear, and do things cold-headed, there's nothing that you need to worry about," Mykel said as he looked at every one of them.

Aurea suddenly wrapped her arms around Mykel's neck from behind and leaned her head on his head. She was chuckling and looking at him with a big smile on her face.

"I miss you. I miss the you from back then who took everything down as if you already knew the answers to all the problems. Elena still has a lot of things to learn from you," Aurea said and kissed Mykel's neck. "Now, Elena. Tell us what to do, and we will do what you say," Aurea glanced at Elena with her eyebrows raised.

"Let's pay Mara a visit. She's the biggest threat to us at the moment," Elena said as she looked at Aurea. "You guys never had the chance to fight her, so I'll let you guys kill that woman now," Elena continued.

All of them were thrilled and couldn't hold their excitement since they were all prepared to fight her back in the novel world. Now that they were given a second chance, they wouldn't want to miss it.

"Take these with you," Mykel said as he removed the gloves and then offered them to Elena. "You don't want to get your hands dirty," Mykel smiled at her.

Elena took them and then looked at them as if they were something so precious to her. Although they were only gloves, the fact they were the gloves that Mykel always wore made them so special. She then put them on and they fit in her hands, and that was a symbolic gesture that Mykel gave responsibility to her as a leader.

"Are you guys ready?" Elena asked as she fixed the gloves and looked at everyone.

"Boss, just give us the word, and we will follow you," Gunnar said with a smile on his face.

"Amy, open the portal. Let the whole world know what we are doing," Elena said with a smirk. Your adventure continues at empire

Amaryllis nodded her head and opened a giant portal right next to her, and that portal oozed an ominous aura that the Gods could feel it. Everyone looked at the portal, and then Elena stood right in front of it with the others right behind her. Mykel didn't join them because he didn't want to show his power to the whole world yet.

"Whatever happens out there, have fun, all of you," Mykel said with a smirk.

All of them nodded their heads and that gave them the morale boost that they needed. And so, Elena and the others entered the portal and that was enough to attract all the Gods' attention. They all wondered where they all went because they were wary of how powerful Mykel's team was.

(In Valhalla)

Nal was enjoying the ale, and then suddenly Heimdall barged into the palace, and he looked pale. Odin and the others looked at him with confused looks until he pointed down to the south.

"Mykel's team is going to fight her. They're going to fight Mara and they're letting us know by the massive portal they opened," Heimdall pointed out.

Nal was about to drink the ale suddenly stopped moving her hand, and everyone was looking at her. She then slowly smiled and put the ale back on the table, and she started chuckling as she covered her mouth.

"As I expected, you would make the first move," Nal said.

"What are you going to do?" Odin asked.

"What else? We are going to help them. A deal was made, and we will help them," Nal answered.
